Questions & Answers

1. Is the Bible the Word of God?
No. It is wrong to call the Bible the "Word of God." The Bible comprises of 66 books, scriptures, written by men.

2. How would you get to know God if you do not read the Bible?
You get to know ABOUT Jesus by hearing or reading. You get to know Jesus through prayer. He answers prayer and He reveals Himself to those who seek Him. It is good to have a Bible but it is not essential to have one in order to know God. Most people who have Bibles do not know God.

3. Is all Scripture inspired by God?
No. Some of the books of the Bible were inspired by men. The Chronicles of the Kings were recorded by the writers of the kings. They were recording the history of the kings during their reign.

4. Should we read the Bible?
Yes, absolutely. It is good to read the Bible from beginning to end, both Old Testament and New Testament. It teaches us about God and gives us understanding of God's dealings with men. It also leads us to Salvation, through obedience to Jesus, if we DO what God requires of us.

5. Is the Bible infallible?
No. The Bible was written by fallible men, it was translated by fallible men. There are many different translations of the Bible, and they differ from each other. There are thousands of different Christian churches that derive their different doctrines from the same Bible. There is only one truth.

6. Is the Bible the truth?
We accept the testimony of the Bible and believe it to be true although there are many things that we can not explain nor verify. Study of the Bible leads to many unanswered questions.

7. Which parts of the Bible are important for salvation?
Salvation is only possible through believing and obeying Jesus Christ. The words of Jesus, His teachings and commands, are the requirements for salvation. His words were recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

8. Do I need to know the Bible to be saved?
No. You need to know Jesus and He needs to know you. If we obey the gospel of Jesus Christ, His words, as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, then Jesus will reveal Himself to us and we will get to know Him for real.

9. What does it mean to be saved?
All humans are soul, body and spirit. The body will die, the spirit returns to God who gave it, but the soul never dies. The soul that sins will perish. It will be cast in damnation where it will be tormented for eternity. All sinners that do not repent, turn away from their evil ways and obey the gospel of Jesus Christ, will be damned. The sinner that repents, turns from it's evil ways to follow and obey Jesus Christ, will be saved from damnation and will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven.

10. What must I do to be saved?
You have to know, follow and obey Jesus Christ. You have to live in fellowship with Jesus every day for the rest of your life.
You learn about Jesus by reading the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Repent and be baptized in water

11. What does it mean to repent?
Repent does not mean to change your mind, like so many have been led to believe. To repent means to turn from sin, turn from following after your own mind and from following after your own desires, to turn to Jesus and live in obedience to Him. Stop sinning, be holy, sin no more. Seek to do what is pleasing to Jesus, seek His will and do it, even at the expense of your own pleasure and ambitions. Live for Jesus and the kingdom of God, not for the fulfillment of your selfish desires any more.

12. Can I be saved by just believing in Jesus?
If you believe truly in Jesus you will obey His commands and teachings. You will live according to His words. If you do not obey Jesus your confession of faith is empty, void, and your faith is worthless. Jesus said:"Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not what I say?"

13.How can you know that you are saved? Salvation security.
There is no security or guarantee of salvation. Jesus said that those who endure with Him and who follow Him until the end, will be saved. We have the HOPE of salvation as long as we keep on following and obeying Jesus.

14. How can I know whether I am in God's will and whether Jesus is pleased with me or not?
Pray and ask Jesus to show you whether He is pleased with you. Ask Him for guidance. Salvation is all about our relationship with Jesus, asking His guidance, listening, obeying and doing what He tells us to do.

15. Is salvation works based?
A tree is known by it's fruit. A good tree does not bear bad fruit. If you are a follower of Jesus your works will show that you are living in obedience to Him. We will also be judged by our works, good or bad. You cannot be saved by doing good works, but sin will cause you to end up in hell. It is required of every follower of Jesus, to bear good fruit, to do the works that He has prepared for them to do. Jesus said:"I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful." John 15:1,2.

16. Can you lose your salvation?
Salvation is not a guarantee or a possession. We have the hope of salvation as long as we keep on following and obeying Jesus. Jesus will not reject or leave us. Nothing can pluck us out of His hand, but we have to stay with Jesus. If we stray from Him we are in danger of hell fire. If we decide to leave Jesus, He will not hold us captive, He will let us go, but we will end up in hell if we do not repent and stay with Him.

17. I am back-slid. Can I go back to Jesus?
Jesus never left you. You left Him. Repent and go back to Jesus. He will never reject anyone who truly repents.

18. I think I have committed the unforgivable sin. Am I doomed?
Jesus is our only hope. It does not matter what you have done. Only Jesus can help you. Humble yourself before Him. Plead for mercy and forgiveness. Your life is in His hands, but you have to go to Him. Nobody else can help you.

19. Do I have to be baptized in water to be saved?
Yes. Jesus commanded it. Mark 16:15,16 "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned."

20. Who can baptize me? Do I need to go to a church?
Any fellow follower of Jesus can baptize you. You don't need to go to or belong to a church.

21. Can I baptize myself?
No. You need to be baptized by another follower of Jesus. The Lord Himself was baptized by John the Baptist. john did not regard himself worthy of baptizing Jesus but he did when Jesus said to him: "But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” “Let it be so now, Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness” in this way. Then John permitted Him."

22. Is infant baptism valid?
No. Believers should be baptized as their own confession of faith and commitment to follow Jesus. An infant cannot make that commitment and it cannot be done for him by his parents. Infant baptism is a commandment of men, not of Jesus. Jesus said:"You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”Matthew 15:7-9

23 Do I need to belong to a church?
No. You need to belong to Jesus. Salvation is about our relationship with Jesus and our fellowship with Him. Those who belong to Jesus do not go to church, they ARE the church, the Body of  Christ.
Membership of a church organization does not make you part of the Body of Christ. You have to follow and obey Jesus Christ.

24. Where do I go for fellowship?
Our fellowship must be with Jesus first and then we must bring others to Jesus so that they can also be in fellowship with Jesus. The apostle John wrote in 1 John 1:3 "what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ."

25. What about Hebrews 10:25?
Believers quote verse 25 and forget verse 24:  "24and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." The purpose of coming together as followers of Jesus is to "to stimulate one another to love and good deeds," not to be part of a Christian friendship club.

26. Must I submit to the church leadership?
We have to submit to Jesus, follow and obey Him. No man can serve two masters. Jesus Himself is the Head and every disciple must submit to Him.

27. Must I get married in a church?
All marriages between a man and a woman are officiated by the laws of the land and your vows are binding before God. When you get married in a church, the person who marries  you, does so as a government official. It makes no difference whether you get married in a church or in the government office.

28. I am married to a woman that divorced from her first husband. Am I in an adulterous marriage? Must I divorce?
You have to ask Jesus, that question. He will guide you into what you must do, if you ask Him.

29. I cannot stop sinning.What must I do?
You have to repent and stop sinning or you will end up in hell. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. without holiness no man shall see God.
" 18We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him." 1 John 5:18.
"4Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. 5You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. 6No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. 7Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother." 1 John 3:4-10.

30. Which version of the Bible should I read?
There are more than 300 different versions of the Bible in the English language. The Bible has been perverted to support the doctrines of men and churches. The older versions are best, like KJV and American Standard. I personally use the NAS 1970, New American Standard. The old KJV is old English that is not spoken any more and many do not understand it. I also detest the practice of not using capital letters to refer to God and Jesus, as has become the practice in the newer translations, they have no respect for God.
It is very useful to compare versions in the online biblehub.cc

31. WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
The teachings and revelation of Jesus Christ. It is His WORDS and COMMANDMENTS, the ONLY way to have ETERNAL LIFE. They were recorded in the 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. As Jesus also said: "24“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26“Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27“The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27.

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE: OBEY THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

32. RELIGIOUS NONSENSE, COMMANDMENTS OF MEN. CLOTHING, DIETRY RULES
Religion, also Christian religion, lays many burdens on people, commandments of men, that Jesus does not require. Believers are then occupied by these practices that are of no benefit to their relationship with Jesus. These things are distractions, that take our focus off Jesus. Among these are clothing, hair covering, dietry rules, tithing and observance of special days, that were required under the laws of Moses, but they do not apply to followers of Jesus.
Those who follow Jesus must repent of those things and live according to His words and commands. They must be led by the Holy Spirit, then they will not be entangled by those snares of religion. Get out of religion, dead religious practices, and you will be free to follow and obey Jesus.

33. IS JESUS THE ONLY WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE?
Regardless of whether you believe in Jesus or not, He will decide your eternal destiny. If you rejected Him, you are already doomed. He is our only hope of eternal life. Those who disobey Him will perish, even if they believed in Him.
Consider Jesus, accept, receive and obey Him. Do as He said and commanded, as it was recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, in the Bible.
Repent, turn from sin, be baptized in water and Jesus will make you new, a born again child of God. He will reveal Himself to you and show you the kingdom of heaven, that those will inherit, who follow and obey Him until the end.
Jesus is our only hope for eternal life. Seek Him today and you will find Him.

  2. How does Baptism need to be? In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and Holy Spirit or in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Compare Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38.

    1. We speak to others about things that are dear to us. Jesus must first become dear to us, then we will talk about Him all the time, to everybody. We will find opportunity to witness for Jesus. People often ask me about my accent, why I am here, why I came, then I start telling them that Jesus sent me to warn them to repent and seek Him. I share my testimony. We must stay focused on Jesus and He will open an opportunity for us to testify for Him. Then we must take the opportunity and use it. May Jesus bless you.

  7. I love your honest and straightforward ministry. It can be described as Frank and Gentle. I did have a question about what you though of Paul Washer's ministry. Is he right in his teachings? Does he mislead others? Is his biblical fidelity an infidelity to christ? Please let me know. Thank you

  10. So here is my question. I am trying to do whats right and keep in line with the Bible. I have not read the entire Bible. I really dont like reading because I cant really rememeber what I read. I have bad reading comprehension. God reveiled to me a process for memorizing the Bible. So I started in Matthew and it took me a year to get the first 11 books down. I dont really read ahead because it would be pointless because I wont remember it. I dont want to just read it I want to learn it. What happens if I'm sinning and dont know it yet because I havent' read that far into the Bible yet? Do you think God woul send someone to hell who hasnt read the entire Bible and didnt know what to do and what not to do?
