The Devil's Lies

2 comments:

  1. Sir, why did Jesus teach us to pray daily for our Father to forgive us our trespasses if we be not sinners? Paul called himself the chief of sinners, and that isn't in past tense, but presently as he was penning those words. Our spirits be sinless if they are born of God, there is nothing good in our flesh. We must submit to the righteousness of God. If God were to cast you into the lake of fire, would you still not praise him? That's me. I cannot demand entry into heaven when I see God, who am I? Yet I care not what happens to me the Lord Jesus Christ is good, whatever may come, and I will praise him forever. Do you understand this sentiment, or do you feel you keep a contract with the Lord Jesus? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but in his hands we must fall, and no man can pluck us out. I am a sinner, and God hates me as I am in the flesh, but the spirit shall be saved, and as I worship him in that spirit and in truth, I walk by faith having that witness with his Spirit and mine, that I am his. Understand me? JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH.

    1. Friend, do not be deceived. Do you think you can sin your way into heaven? Paul was not a sinner, he was an ex-sinner. "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
No person who keeps on sinning has any relationship with Jesus.
Repentance means to die to sin, absolutely turn away form sin. If we willfully sin we are rebellious and must die if we do not repent.
"26For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. 28Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know Him who said, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY.” And again, “THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE.” 31It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God."Hebrews 10:26-29.
