Enter into His Rest

The whole world is in
uncertainty. People are living in anxiety. They are concerned about
tomorrow. How will they live? Many are working two jobs because they
want to secure their future, they want to make enough money, they
want securities, for the future. They are running after wind. And in
all of this Jesus invites us to enter into His rest. We read in
Matthew 6:24 Jesus said:"No one can serve two masters; for
either will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted
to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. For
this reason I say to you do not be worried about your life as to what
you will eat or what you will drink, nor for your body as to what you
will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than
clothing? Look at the birds of the air that they do not sow, nor reap
nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are
you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried
can add a single hour to his life, and why are you worried about
clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow. They do toil,
nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his
glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the
grass of the field which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into
the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
Do not worry then saying:"What will we eat?" or "What
will we drink?" or "What will we wear for clothing?"
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly
Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His
kingdom and His righteousness and all these things we'll be added to
you."
Jesus wants to give us
rest, security, peace for our souls; and He invites us to come to Him
for that peace. Now people say:"How can they have this peace by
just coming to Jesus? Let us read the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28
"Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give
you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle
and humble in heart and you shall find rest for your souls, for My
yoke is easy and My load is light." And that is the key to
finding peace in Jesus. It is not just a matter of trusting in Jesus
and hoping that everything will work out fine. It is a matter of
obeying Him, of submitting ourselves to Him, of taking His yoke upon
us, of living according to His words; of being led by His Holy Spirit
and of living in company, in fellowship, with Him.
The only place where we
can find peace is if we are close to Jesus, if we are doing His will
and we receive confirmation from Him that He is pleased with us, if
He guides us and we follow, and if we stay with Him, then we are
safe. Nothing can happen to us that Jesus does not allow. He knows
how to look after His sheep, but His sheep have to follow Him. They
have to stay with Him. We cannot trust in Jesus if we stray from Him,
if we disobey Him, if we do not obey His words. But if we obey Him
and submit ourselves to Him, take His yoke upon us and learn from
Him, do what He commands us to do, then we will have peace in our
hearts.
If we do not have peace in
our hearts, as children of God, it is because we are not with Jesus.
It is because we are in disobedience. If we follow Him and obey Him
and submit to Him then we will have peace for our souls, because we
will know that we are in His will and He is pleased with us, and he
takes care of us. Are we living in a piece of Jesus? Do we have His
peace that passes all understanding? Or are we following after our
own ways and looking for our own securities? We cannot serve God and
Mammon.
If we serve Jesus He will
take care of us and we will have nothing else to worry about. Trust
in Jesus, obey Him, follow Him and you will enter into His rest.
May Jesus bless you.

God is Kind but STERN

God is kind. Jesus Christ
forgives all our sins He pardons us, and He makes us children of God,
if we accept Him, but what people do not understand is that God is
also stern. This rebellious generation does not understand the
sternness of God and the discipline of God. God is unrelenting. He
demands absolute obedience to the words of Jesus, because those are
the words of eternal life.
God is unbending. He does
not compromise, to anybody or for anybody. God does not relent. He
does not give up on that which He commanded us to do. He does not
change. God is rigid. There is no shadow of changing with God. That
which He said, He will do. He will punish all disobedience. The wages
of sin is death. If we turn away from Jesus and we go back to sin
then God will discipline us, and if we do not accept discipline, we
will perish, because God does not tolerate sin. God is exact about
His requirements. the words of Jesus Christ are exact. They are not
open to interpretation. Jesus said that if you look at a woman to
desire her, to lust after her, you have already committed adultery in
your heart, and adulterers will not enter the kingdom of God.
Those who disobey Jesus
will perish, even though they did experience the kindness of God,
even though they were born again. Jesus said that every branch in
Him that does not bear fruit will get cut off and burned. Such
born-again people who have experienced the kindness of God and who
became children of God, but who do not bear fruit, will get cut off
and burned. They will end up in hell. God does not change. God does
not tolerate sin. God does not tolerate disobedience. Without
holiness no man shall see God. The soul that sins will die, will
perish in hell. No sinners will go into the kingdom of heaven.
The kindness of God leads
us to repentance, and holiness, to obedience to His commands, which
are the words of Jesus Christ, the words of eternal life. Those who
disobey Jesus will perish. Those who rebel against Him will not enter
His kingdom. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
If we obey Him, we will live. If we deny Him, disregard and disobey
Him, we will perish. We need to understand the kindness of God, but
also the severity of God, the sternness of God. God that does not
change, He does not tolerate disobedience. Fear Him, obey Him, and
you will live. There's only one way and that is to follow Jesus
Christ, obey Him and you will live.
May Jesus bless you.

God out of the box

Theologians and Bible scholars want to put God in a box. They will often tell you that God will not go outside of what is written in the Bible. They will tell you that a God does not speak, that the Bible is the Word of God and that whatever God said is written in the Bible, and that God speaks through the Bible. They do not know God and that is why they speak such foolishness. They make predictions about what will happen based on their interpretation of the Scriptures and of the prophecies as recorded in the Bible, but when things do not work out as they predicted, they change their predictions, and foolish people keep on believing them and running after them. They are the blind leaders of the blind.

The psalmist said in Psalm 119 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." He was not speaking about the Bible, he was speaking about the Word of God, the Spirit of God, that speaks to those who have ears, and those who listen. Jesus said:"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me." Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God, they are the sons of God, and they know that you cannot put God in a box. You cannot predict God. You cannot predict what God will do next, because God is God. He is above all human thought, above all human imagination, and predictions.

God is God. Jesus Christ is Lord and He does as He pleases, but He reveals Himself to those who seek Him, and who listen to His voice. They will not be in darkness and they know that He is unlimited. You cannot put Jesus Christ in a box. He is the Lord God Almighty. Be still and know that He is God. Seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you. He will give His Spirit in you and He will guide you into all truth.

 May Jesus bless you.

Wrestling with the Scriptures

Bible students and theologians like to wrestle with the Scriptures. They pick and choose and they apply scriptures in such a way as to fit in with their understanding or with their theories and their theology, but they never come to the truth because they are occupied with their own mind and their own desires, and their own beliefs.

Jesus Christ gives the Holy Spirit in those who obey Him.  The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. If you wrestle with the Scriptures you always win, because you apply the scriptures to your own liking, your own desire, to your own understanding; but those who seek the truth go on their knees, they seek Jesus and they wrestle with the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, will guide you into all truth, but you will not win against the Spirit of God, the truth will always win it will triumph over lies and any opinions of man.

Those who are pure in heart will see God. Those who seek the truth do not wrestle with the Scriptures, they wrestle with the Spirit of God and they are taught the truth. They are not in darkness because the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, will teach them and guide them into the whole truth. The Spirit of Truth will refute the lies that we have been brought up with, the lies that we've been told and that we have come to believe. It is to our advantage to seek the truth to wrestle with the Spirit of God until the truth is revealed  in us and to us. The Holy Spirit of God will guide us into all truth, if we truly seek Him.

Do not wrestle with the Scriptures. Do not try and make the Scriptures fit into your theology. Rather seek the truth, go on your knees and speak to Jesus. Ask Him to guide you into all truth and a Holy Spirit will enlighten your mind, will give you understanding of the truth.

May Jesus bless you.

The Pilgrim Character

The born-again child of God has a Pilgrim character, he is not of this world. Jesus Christ said that everyone who is born of the Spirit of God is like a wind, you don't know where he's coming from or where he is going.

Those who are truly born again are of the kingdom of God. They are of a different Kingdom, they are just passers through, and that is why they do not love the things of the world. Neither are they of this world.

Are we truly born again? Do we have that pilgrim character? Are we of this world, or are we of the kingdom of God?

May Jesus bless you.

A Call For SEPARATION

Jesus Christ calls us to
separation, a life of holiness. We are I separate people, a holy
people, called unto Him for His purpose. The Apostle Paul writes in
2nd Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be bound together with unbelievers;
for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what
Fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with
Belial, or what as a believer in common with an unbeliever" Or
what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the
Temple of the Living God; just as God, I will dwell in them and walk
among them and I will be their God and they shall be My people.
Therefore come out from their midst and be separate says the Lord,
and do not touch what is unclean, and I will welcome you. And I will
be a father to you and you shall be sons and daughters to Me says the
Lord Almighty."
Jesus is calling us to
dedicate our lives to Him, to separate ourselves unto Him, to walk
with Him; not to socialize with the world, not to be conformed to the
world. The Apostle James wrote in James 4:4 "You adulteresses,
do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward
God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes
himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the scripture speaks to
no purpose, He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to
dwell in us."
Jesus does not call us to
fellowship with other believers. He calls us into fellowship with
Himself; to walk with Him. We must become like Jesus, not like other
believers. We have to separate ourselves unto Him. We must not be
like the world or go after the things of the world, we have to
separate ourselves unto Jesus so that we can be pleasing to Him. We
can only walk with Jesus if we separate ourselves unto Him. If we
socialize and fellowship with worldly Christians then our fellowship
is not with Jesus but with people. We have to separate ourselves unto
Jesus, listen to Him, be tuned in to Him and He will speak to us, He
will guide us and He will teach us. We are called to be Saints, who
follow our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
May Jesus bless you.

Sinning Christians False Converts

Many people have come to
faith in Jesus and they call themselves Christians but they have
never repented and they have never stopped sinning, they are false
converts. We cannot be followers of Jesus Christ if we do not obey
His words.
We first have to repent of
sin turn away from sin and live according to the words of Jesus, be
righteous and holy, be baptized in water and be filled with the Holy
Spirit, and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Those who
continue living in sin are false converts. They are not saved. They
are not followers of Jesus Christ, they are not Christians.
Those who follow Jesus
Christ are Saints, they sin no more. They live in obedience to Jesus
and they live to glorify Him.
May Jesus bless you.

Follow Jesus EVERY Day

To be a Christian means to
be a follower of Jesus Christ, not just a believer. We can only
follow Jesus if we experience Him for real. Those who are born again
of the Spirit of God experienced Jesus Christ in their spirit,
because those who are being led by the Spirit of God they are the
children of God. Many people believe in Jesus but they do not follow
Him. They cannot follow Him because they are not born again.
If we believe in Jesus
Christ and we obey His words, His commands; if we repent and we are
baptized in water, then we are born again and we experience Jesus. We
hear His voice and we see Hs kingdom in our spirit. Our spirit is
brought to life because God is spirit and we can only have communion
with Him in the spirit. The person who is not born again of the
Spirit of God cannot understand the things of God, cannot understand
the kingdom of God, He cannot see the kingdom of God and He does not
experience Jesus.
Many believers are not
born again. They read the scriptures and they try to live according
to the scriptures but they are not born again. At heart they are
sinners, at heart they are enemies of God because they have never
submitted themselves to Jesus. They have never become real in their
relationship with Him. They do not know Him. Many of them are Bible
teachers, and preachers, but they have no relationship with Jesus and
they cannot follow Him because they do not know Him. You cannot
follow Jesus from a book of rules, from reading the Bible, and
listening to other people, you need to be led by the Spirit of God.
Jesus gives his spirit in those who obey His gospel, His words, those
who are serious with Him, those who truly believe and those who seek
His guidance, those who seek Him for real. He manifests Himself to
them. They hear His voice in their spirit, they serve Him in their
spirit, and only they can follow Jesus Christ. We have to follow
Jesus Christ every day until the very end to enter His kingdom. If we
are not born again of the Spirit of God we cannot experience Jesus,
we cannot follow Him. We need to have that born-again experience,
where our spirit becomes alive to the Spirit of God so that we can
have communion with God, and we only get that experience when we
humble ourselves before Jesus, and we repent, obey His words, are
baptized in water. He will reveal Himself to us if we obey Him. He
will come and live in us and with us. He will guide us and He will
teach us and we must follow Him every day until the very end. Those
who are being led by the Spirit of God they are the children of God.
Are you a child of God?
Are you being led by the Spirit of God? Do you know Jesus Christ for
real? Do you follow and obey Him every day?
May Jesus bless you.

Pursue Holiness

There is a difference
between the children of God and the unbelievers, and that difference
is holiness. The children of God, those who follow Jesus, are not
sinners anymore; they pursue holiness, they go after holiness.
As the writer of Hebrews
wrote in Hebrews 13:14 "Pursue peace with all men, as well as
holiness, without which no one will see the Lord."
The Apostle Peter writes
in 1 Peter 1:14 "As obedient children, do not be conformed to
the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the
Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior
because it is written: "You shall be holy for I am holy."
The Apostle Paul writes in
Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what
the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."
We are called to holiness, we are called to be children of God, a
holy priesthood.
Paul writes in 2
Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be bound together with unbelievers for
what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what
Fellowship has light with darkness, or what harmony as Christ with
Belial? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever, or what
agreement as a temple of God with idols? For we are the Temple of the
Living God. Just as God said:"I will dwell in them and walk
among them and I will be their God and they shall be My people.
Therefore come out from their midst and be separate says the Lord and
do not touch what is unclean and I will welcome you and I will be a
father to you and you shall be sons and daughters to Me says the Lord
Almighty."
Are we pursuing holiness?
Are we going after Jesus Christ with all our power? Or are we
conformed to the world? Why is it that believers want to be like the
world? They go after the same senseless lusts and pleasures; they
want to be like the world. They deface their bodies, they tattoo
themselves. They are not satisfied with what God has given them. They
want to change their bodies. Some of them are not satisfied that God
made them a man or a woman, they want to be something else. They are
ungrateful, unholy, conformed to this world.
We have to separate
ourselves from that which is evil. We have to come out from among
those we do not respect and fear God. If we associate with them, we
will be like them, but if we follow Jesus we have to come out and
separate ourselves, cleanse ourselves of all unrighteousness, and
then he will live among us. He will live in us, He will guide us, He
will teach us. He will reveal Himself to us, we will know His voice.
We have to pursue holiness, because without holiness we shall not see
the Lord. The Lord does not dwell in a filthy temple. If we make
ourselves available to the influences of this world and if we want to
be like this world we are not suitable for Jesus and that is why
most believers have no relationship with Jesus. They do not have any
fellowship with Him because they prefer to be conformed to the world.
Come out from among them and be holy and Jesus will accept you, and
He will come and live in you. He will dwell with you and you will
know Him for real.
May Jesus bless you.

Salvation is NOT a Contractual Guarantee

Salvation is not a
contractual guarantee based on your confession of your faith in Jesus
Christ. You are not entitled to certain benefits and expectations
because you trust in Jesus Christ. To trust in Jesus Christ cannot
save you if you do not follow and obey Him. These things that I just
mentioned are some of the lies that are being preached by Bible
teachers. They say that if you trust in Jesus you have salvation and
you will enter into heaven. That is a lie.
You are not entitled to
certain benefits based on Bible Scripture just because you believe in
Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ said that whoever wishes to come after
Him must deny himself pick up his cross and follow Him every day. The
condition for salvation is to follow and obey Jesus Christ until the
very end. There is no guarantee of salvation. Many of these are false
teachers are celebrating a salvation that they promised to other
people, based on Bible scriptures. They believe these lies but they
have no relationship with Jesus Christ.
You cannot base your
salvation or Bible verses. Your salvation is based on your
relationship with Jesus Christ. It is not based on words that are
written on paper. It is based on your fellowship with Jesus Christ,
whether you have the Spirit of Christ and whether you follow and obey
Him, whether He knows you and you know Him and you do what is
pleasing to Him. We have no entitlements, no rights, no expectations,
other than the hope of eternal life, IF we continue to follow and
obey Jesus Christ until the very end. We have to obey His words as
they are also recorded in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)
repent and be baptized in water, be filled with the Holy Spirit and
follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Obey Jesus Christ, seek Him,
seek His kingdom, live for Him and live for His kingdom. Live
according to His words and He will reveal Himself to you. He will
teach you and He will guide you, but at no stage are we entitled to
any benefits. We are living in the hope of salvation, we have the
hope of final salvation as long as we stay with Jesus Christ and obey
Him until the very end. Jesus will never leave us and neither will He
forsake us but we have to stay with Him we have to follow and obey
Him and do what He commands or else we will not enter His kingdom.
Jesus said:"Why do
you call Me Lord, Lord and you do not what I say?" Many trust in
Jesus for salvation but they do not know Him, neither do they want to
know Him. They do not obey Him, they do not follow Him, they have
nothing to do with Him, but they claim salvation. They believe they
have security of salvation based on some Bible verses. They are
foolish because Jesus will say to them:"Go away I never knew
you, you workers of unrighteousness."
Do you know Jesus? Do you
follow and obey Him? Do not be deceived, if we do not obey and follow
Jesus Christ and know him for real, we will certainly not enter His
kingdom.
May Jesus bless you.

The SECRET of Hearing the Voice of God

Jesus said:"My sheep
hear My voice and they follow Me." He did not say that some of
My sheep hear My voice, all of His sheep hear His voice, but not all
Christians are His sheep; not all believers are really interested in
hearing the voice of God. Most Christian believers are not interested
in knowing Jesus. They are not interested in the kingdom of God. They
just want salvation and they don't want to go to hell.
Some of them want to hear
the voice of God, but for their own purposes, and God is not used nor
abused by men. Jesus Christ is Lord and we are here to glorify Him,
to serve Him, to follow Him and to obey Him. The kingdom of God is
about Jesus. Jesus invites us to follow Him. Jesus promises His Holy
Spirit gifts to those who love Him, who obey Him and who follow Him.
Jesus promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit to all those who obey
Him, but believers are not interested. Some believers have a serious
desire for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to hear the voice of
God, but then instead of staying with Jesus and persisting with Him,
seeking Him with all their heart, they start listening to the
theologians. They start listening to other Christians, who are not
followers of Jesus, others who are not His sheep and then they follow
after those sheep, instead of seeking Jesus with all their heart.
Jesus said:"Whoever is thirsty, come to the waters and drink."
He invites everybody but not all believers are thirsty. Very few seek
the will of God. They seek their own desires, they do not want to do
the will of God. They do not want to really hear the voice of God and
therefore because they are not serious they never get to hear His
voice.
If we are serious about
following Jesus Christ and we seek him with all our heart then He
will quickly answer us. He will reveal Himself to us, but we have to
press on in. We have to seek Him with all our heart, be diligent, be
persistent and we will learn that the kingdom of God is not about us
and about our desires, it is about Jesus Christ and doing his will.
People want to hear from God for their own purposes. God speaks for
His purposes, for the building of His kingdom. If we are not
interested in Jesus Christ, in knowing Him, in His kingdom, in
serving Him, in being pleasing to Him, then we will not hear from
Him. His sheep hear His voice and they follow Him because they love
Him and they want to serve Him. If you truly seek Jesus and you want
to serve Him, if you want to be part of His kingdom, you will hear
His voice. He will speak to you. He will reveal Himself to you. Jesus
said:"He who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves
Me, and me and My Father will come and dwell with him and I will
reveal Myself to him." If you truly seek Jesus and you obey His
words, then you will get to know Him for real. He will reveal Himself
to you. He will speak to you. He will guide you. He will teach you
and He will give you understanding; but if you persist in your own
ways, if you trust more in what other people say, if you trust more
in what you read in the Bible, then you can forget about it. Jesus
will not speak to you.
Jesus said to the
Pharisees:"You diligently search the scriptures in there to find
eternal life but you refuse to come to Me to have life." Do you
want life? Do you want to hear the voice of God? Then seek Jesus with
all your heart. Seek Jesus with all your heart and He will reveal
Himself to you.
May Jesus bless you.

Your Eternal Net Worth

All that will matter a
moment that we die is whether we have a treasure in heaven. It is not
about what we did for Jesus or for the kingdom of God. It is about
whether we served the purpose that Jesus called us for. Did we do the
will of God? Were we in Christ? Did we make ourselves available to
Jesus? Did we follow Him and obey Him and did we do what He required
of us?
Jesus calls each and every
one of us for a specific purpose. It is not about what we think is
important to God, it is about what Jesus requires of us, because
without Jesus we can do nothing. Jesus said that if we remain in Him
we will bear much fruit, because without Him we can do nothing. Do we
have a treasure in heaven? Are we living for the kingdom of God and
are we serving that purpose for which Jesus called us? We can only
serve that purpose if we listen to His voice and follow Him and do
what He commands us to do every day.
Where is our treasure,
here on earth where moth and rust destroys, or do we have a treasure
in the kingdom of heaven? What is our eternal net worth? Will Jesus
invite us into his kingdom when we die or will He say to us:"Go
away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness."
May Jesus bless you.

Words of LIFE

Man shall not live from
bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God. The words of Jesus are Spirit and
life. They give life to those who hear them and who obey them.
People get excited about
the words and the teachings of preachers of mere men, but they reject
the words of Jesus Christ. Believers quote the words of the servants
of Jesus, rather than the words of Jesus Himself. The words of Jesus
are the words of life, the words that He spoke as they are recorded
in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and the words of Jesus
that He speaks to His servants, His disciples, His followers; they
give life to those who listen and obey. Those are the words of life,
not the words of men.
Are we listening to Jesus?
Do we hear His voice and do we hear the words of life? Do we obey Him
and do we have life? Do we take seriously the words of Jesus? Do we
crave and ask for Him to speak to us, to guide us and to teach us, or
do we run after mere men, after people who cannot help us? Only Jesus
has the words of eternal life. Listen to Jesus and you will live.
Listen and your soul will live.
May Jesus bless you.

Follow Jesus not other Christians

Most people are like
sheep, they follow after other sheep. If you know sheep you will know
that if you can get one sheep to go into a direction the others will
follow him. The very same with Christians,
most Christians are like
sheep that follow after the sheep. However, Jesus Christ has a small
flock of true sheep. His sheep listen to His voice and they follow
Him. They do not follow after other sheep. All that matters to them
is what Jesus says.
Most Christian believers
run after other believers. They love to fellowship with other sheep.
They love to listen to the wisdom of preachers. They will quote
people, they will quote the Apostles; Peter, Paul and John but they
will not quote the words of Jesus Christ. They will listen to the
preachings and the teachings of Bible teachers, but they do not
listen to the words of Jesus Christ. They do not treasure the words
of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The
words of Jesus are the words of eternal life. Jesus Christ is the
word of God Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God Jesus Christ is the
only way the truth and the life and that is why His sheep listen to
His voice, they do not run after other sheep. They do not listen to
other sheep, they listen to the Master. they listen to their
Shepherd, Jesus Christ, because they know His voice and they follow Him.
The words of Jesus Christ are the words of eternal life for those who
obey Him, those who obey His commands, and He reveals Himself to
those who seek Him, who obey His words. He gives His Holy Spirit in
them and He guides them. He speaks to them. He himself is their
Shepherd and they follow Him. If we follow after other sheep, other
believers, we will go stray.
Most believers run after
the blind leaders of the blind and they all fall into the ditch.
There is only one way, and that, is follow Jesus Christ. Obey His
words. It does not matter what Peter said, what Paul said; there
might be some truth in what they said but only the words of Jesus
Christ are the words of eternal life. We must follow and obey Jesus
Christ to have life. If we follow after others we will perish.
Do not follow after men.
Do not follow after other sheep. Follow after Jesus Christ. Listen to
Him. Be guided by His Spirit and you will live. Those who are being
led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God; they are His true
sheep. Do not follow after men. Follow after Jesus and you will have
life.
May Jesus bless you.

God Engineers our Circumstances

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master, He accepts you as a child of God.You come under His CARE and PROTECTION and He will be watching over you until the very end.

Nothing can happen to you that He does not allow. There is no good or bad luck in the life of a child of God. God has a plan and a purpose for each of His children. He has also prepared works for each child to do, a function to fulfill.

We can only serve His purpose if we OBEY Him and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ gives the Holy Spirit to live in and to guide and teach every child who seeks to obey Him.

He will never force us to obey Him but He will be involved in our lives until the very end, because He cares.  We have the choice however, to obey or disobey Him. Jesus does not hold us captive but if we disregard and disobey Him we will face the consequences.

As a child of God, We have to live in obedience to the rules of Jesus, His words, His commands, as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, as Jesus also commanded His disciples:  “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.” Mark 16:15,16. Also as we read in Matthew 28:19,20 Jesus said:“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;”

If we love Jesus, we will obey Him and He will give His Holy Spirit to come and dwell in us. We read in John 14:20 20“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21“He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” ... “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.”

Jesus Himself will teach us  and guide us and give us understanding of His will, IF we obey His words and if we seek to be pleasing to Him.

If we disobey Him and disregard Him, stray from Him, we will come under discipline. The discipline of the Lord can be very harsh as we read Paul's testimony in Acts 26:14 When Jesus spoke to him on the Damascus road and said to him: “It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

What are the goads? A goad is a spiked stick used to drive cattle.

The discipline of the Lord can be hard and unpleasant because He wants to correct us, so that we can share in His holiness and that we can be suitable for His kingdom, so that we can change our ways to be obedient children of God.

We must seek the will of the Lord in all things and TRUST Him when we pray. When things do not work out as we hoped or expected we must submit to Jesus and yield to His will because He makes all things work together for good, for those who love Him, for those who are called according to His purpose, for His children.

If we keep on going after our own will then the Lord will give us our desires but will often give it to us but then we will have to live with the consequences that can often be very painful and unpleasant. As we read in Psalm 106:14,15. 14But craved intensely in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert. 15So He gave them their request, But sent a wasting disease among them.”

Paul also writes in Romans 1:24

"24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”

Many children of God continue in their wicked ways. Many of them say that they cannot stop sinning and they think that God will excuse them, somehow, because they believe and because they are children of God but God is the impartial judge, as Paul also writes in Romans 2:4-11. 4Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11For there is no partiality with God.

We will reap what we sow. Jesus warned that every branch in Him that does not bear fruit will get cut off and burned.

John 15:1-6 “  1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. 6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.”

God watches over His children. Let us conduct ourselves worthy of Jesus. If we don't we will get disciplined. Those who do not mend their ways will not enter His kingdom. It is not just a matter of sin and righteousness, but of fitting into God's plan and doing His will. We have to be obedient children that do the Father's will.

Are we fitting into God's plan? Are we obedient children? Are we worthy of Jesus Christ?

May Jesus bless you.

The World is Utterly Deceived and in Darkness

The world is utterly deceived and in darkness because of lies. Jesus Christ is the light of the world. He is the way and the truth and the life and He gives the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, in those who believe in Him and who obey Him. Those who have received the Holy Spirit and who follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they are not in darkness. They know the truth and the truth makes them free.
Very few people are led by the Holy Spirit. Very few believers even have the Holy Spirit and that is why they are in darkness. They are being deceived. If you do not have the Holy Spirit and if you do not follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit every day, then you are being deceived. Have you submitted your life to Jesus Christ? Do you follow and obey Him? Have you repented of sin and of following after the lies that are being told in this world? Have you been baptized in water as Jesus commanded? Have you received the Holy Spirit that He promised to those who obey Him and do you follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit?
If you do not have the Holy Spirit and do not follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you are in darkness and you are being deceived. Those who are being led by the Spirit of God they are the children of God; they are not in darkness, they walk in the light because they follow Jesus Christ. Are you walking in the light? Are you following Jesus Christ?
May Jesus bless you.

Unlimited Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is Lord. He
is God. He is Almighty. He is unlimited. He has no boundaries. There
is nothing that He cannot do. Religion wants to fence Jesus in.
Theologians will tell you what Jesus can do, what He cannot do and
what He will do, but they do not know Him, because He is the
unlimited God. There is nothing that He cannot do. He does what He
pleases to do because He is God. What a mighty God we serve!
He is the unlimited God,
the unpredictable, undefinable God; He is Lord. Do you know Jesus,
the unlimited Jesus, or do you have a picture in your mind of Jesus
Christ that is limited to certain parameters? Are you trying to fence
Him in? You cannot fence in Jesus Christ? You cannot limit Him.
People will tell you how He speaks, what He will do next. Jesus
Christ does exactly what He wants to do. He is the unpredictable,
unlimited, Almighty God.
If you seek Him, you will
find Him. If you draw closer to Him, He will draw closer to you. If
you obey Him and you follow Him, He will reveal Himself to you and
you will get to know Him as the unlimited God. Do you know Jesus
Christ the unlimited Lord, God Almighty.
May Jesus bless you.

The uncertainty of following Jesus Christ

To follow Jesus Christ
means to live a life of uncertainty and most people do not trust
Jesus enough to let go of everything and follow Him. Without faith it
is impossible to please God.
Christians say they
believe in Jesus for salvation but that is where their faith stops.
If we are not willing to follow Jesus into the unknown, into the
uncertain future, then we cannot be His disciples. Jesus does not
just require of us that we believe in Him, but that we put our faith
into action. If we truly believe in Him, we will in the first place
obey His words, repent of sin repent, of our own ideas, our own
ambitions, our own plans; we will give it up for Jesus and commit to
follow and obey Him. We will obey Him and be baptized in water, and
then He promised his Holy Spirit to come and dwell in us, to guide us
and to teach us. Jesus said:" The one who loves Me is the one
who obeys My commands." We have to prove our love for Jesus by
in the first place obeying His commands; repent and be baptized.
Most believers never do that. They just believe in what they do not
know, they believe in Jesus for salvation. They want security, they
want a guarantee of salvation, and they get that guarantee from some
Bible verses, but they have never followed Jesus. They do not really
believe. They have not heard His voice and therefore they cannot
follow Him. If we are serious about following Jesus we will obey His
commands, repent and be baptized, and seek His guidance; we will go
after Him because that is what Jesus said. He said:"Follow Me."
How many believers are following Jesus? Very few, and yet they
believe they have salvation. They believe that they will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but they are deceived, because they never followed
Jesus, they never got to know Him and He will say to them:"Go
away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness." He will
say:"You never followed Me, you never heard My voice. You never
sought to hear from Me, you were not interested in my kingdom. Why do
you want to come in here now?"
Most believers are not
interested in Jesus or in the kingdom of God. They just don't want to
go to hell and therefor they will do the minimum that they believe is
required to have salvation, but they will be disappointed eternally
when they find out that their faith cannot save, them because their
faith never went into action. Tey never trusted Jesus, they were
never serious about following Him. That is the tragedy of most
believers; they do not know Jesus, they do not have faith and they
will never follow Jesus
Christ.
We have to follow Him
wherever He guides us, but first we have to sacrifice ourselves,f our
own desires, our own plans, our own ambitions, and we have to commit
to follow Jesus. But most believers will say to you:"How will I
live? What will I eat? How will I dress myself? What car will I
drive? Will I have a wife? Will I have children?" Jesus calls us
to follow Him into the unknown, into the uncertain, but at the end He
promises us a certain salvation. Most believers trust more in
themselves, in their own plans, their own ability, their own opinion,
their own interpretation of the Bible. They trust in other people,
they trust in the church, the pastor, the economy, the government,
the doctor, but they don't trust in Jesus. They just trust in Him
fore some salvation that they do not really know how it works, but it
sounds good the way that it was presented to them by the lying
preachers who themselves do not know Jesus; neither do they follow
Him.
We have to be willing to
deny ourselves every day, to deny your own thoughts, you own
ambitions, your own desires, your own fears and insecurities, and
pick up our cross, go after Jesus. Trust Him. If we cannot trust Him,
we cannot follow Him. If we are not serious about following Him, and
He will not take us seriously. Most believers will say to you that
they asked Jesus to speak to them but He never speaks to them. They
never hear His voice. It is because they are not serious, they are
worried about themselves. They are not concerned about Jesus or about
His kingdom, or about being part of His kingdom. Jesus said:"Seek
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then all the other
things will be added unto you," but very few trust Jesus enough
to follow Him.
Not even preachers trust
Jesus. Most of them are hirelings. They sell their services to their
church or they start their own church, that is their means of income.
They trust in themselves, they trust in other people. How can they
guide you to Jesus? How can they make disciples of Jesus if they
themselves are not disciples; if they themselves do not know Him nor
follow Him. They do not know His voice. Maybe they know a few Bible
verses and they deceive the people, as they themselves are deceived,
but they are not following Jesus Christ.
If you follow Jesus then
everyday is uncertain. Your trust is in Jesus, not in your social
security, or your job, all your own securities that you've
accumulated for yourself; your banking account, all your crutches
that you have accumulated, the things that you trust in, your
securities. If you follow Jesus you let go of all of those. You
abandon everything and you thrust yourself onto Jesus. You follow Him
every day. Jesus said we should not worry about tomorrow, only about
today and that is how you follow Jesus, one day at a time. It is an
adventure, it is total uncertainty but without faith it is impossible
to please God. If you are serious with Jesus then He will reveal
Himself to you, but we have to demonstrate through our obedience to
Him that we are serious, that we truly want to follow Him and that we
are really interested in the kingdom of heaven.
Not many people will enter
heaven. Many believe they are saved and very few know Jesus Christ.
Do you know Jesus Christ? Are you serious about following Him? Do you
hear His voice? Do you follow Him every day, or are you also
deceived? Do you also believe in some salvation that will never
materialize? Get serious with Jesus and He will reveal Himself to
you. There is only one way to have eternal life and that is to follow
and obey Jesus, to go after Him every day, into the unknown, into
that which is uncertain, and the only way that you can do that is by
totally trusting in Jesus Christ. That is faith that can save you? Do
you have that faith? Are you walking in that faith, following the
Master every day?
May Jesus bless you.

Foolish Theologians and their Deceived Followers

Very few of the Pharisees,
the theologians of the time, believed in Jesus Christ. They were more
interested in the scriptures and that is why Jesus said to them:"You
diligently search the Scriptures in there to find eternal life but
you refuse to come to Me to have life." Nothing has changed. The
modern-day theologians are exactly the same as the foolish Pharisees.
The modern-day theologians
pride themselves in their knowledge of the scriptures, that is the
treasure. Their treasure is not Jesus Christ. The other night the
Lord Jesus spoke to me, He gave me the name of a modern day
theologian, I heard RC Sproul. I do not know this person so I went
on Youtube and listened to a few videos of this person and some of
the renowned modern theologians that debate the Scriptures and try to
prove Jesus Christ and their faith from the Scriptures. These people
try to outwit each other by their knowledge and interpretation of the
Scriptures, but sadly they have no knowledge of Jesus, Christ because
they do not know Jesus.
Salvation is not about
what you have in your head, it is about being a new creature because
you are born again of the Spirit of God. When you hear the gospel of
Jesus Christ and you believe and you obey Him, you obey His words,
you repent and turn away from your own wicked ways and you turn to
Jesus, to obey and follow Him, and you are baptized in water, then He
makes you new inside. One of these Pharisees came to Jesus at night.
We read in John 3,Nicodemus came to Him and Jesus said to him, that
unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God, you
cannot enter the kingdom of God, These people debate and they pride
themselves of the knowledge of the scriptures and they think that
they have eternal life, but they don't have Jesus because they do not
have a testimony of Jesus Christ. They read, study, and absorb the
dead letter of the word, but they do not hear the Master himself,
they do not receive fresh manna from heaven. Jesus Christ is not
living in them, they are bogged down, tied down, and fenced in, by
their carnal understanding of the Scriptures, and Jesus Christ does
not fit into their limited understanding because they do not have the
Holy Spirit.
Many follow these foolish
theologians in the hope of gaining wisdom, understanding and
salvation from their theories and teachings but I don't have life in
them because I don't have Jesus Christ in them. They debate the
Scriptures instead of following Jesus Christ. None of the disciples
of Jesus went around explaining the Scriptures. They preached the
gospel of Jesus Christ and lives were transformed, because those who
believed and obeyed the gospel were changed by the power of God. The
gospel of Jesus Christ produces a new creature. You cannot prove God
or Jesus Christ from the Bible, but if you have met Jesus and you've
been transformed by the Holy Spirit, if you've been born again then
you know Jesus for real, then you are a new person. You are not a
sinner anymore. You do not go to the same places, you do not have the
same taste, you do not have the same outlook on life anymore, because
you have met the Master. You can see the kingdom of God, you are
changed because the Spirit of God has transformed you, has made you
new, a new creature. Unless you are made new by the Spirit of God you
cannot enter the kingdom of God. If you are born again you are not a
sinner anymore then you are a saint. You follow Jesus and you do the
will of God. You listen to His voice, He guides you and He teaches
you. You do not seek for inspiration from old dead scriptures; you
seek your guidance and inspiration from Jesus Christ Himself, because
you know Him and you follow Him.
Do not follow after the
foolish theologians who themselves, sadly, do not know Jesus Christ.
Go after Jesus. Seek Him with all your heart. Invite Him into your
life, believe His words. obey Him. Obey the gospel of Jesus Chris.
Repent and turn away from your own senseless existence and you will
be transformed by the power of God. If you obey Jesus repent and be
baptized,He will transform you, He will give His Spirit in you to
teach and guide you so that you can have understanding of the kingdom
of God and you will not need to listen to the foolish theologians,
who have no knowledge of God. They only have their own carnal insight
of the Scriptures, their own opinion and their own carnal mind.
Get your focus on Jesus,
seek Him with all your heart, go after Him and He will guide you into
all truth, because Jesus Christ Himself is the way and the life and
the truth. His words are Spirit and life. Listen to Him, listen and
your soul will live.
May Jesus bless you.

Fatal Distractions

The biggest threat for a child of God is to be distracted from Jesus Christ. Christians talk about their relationship with Jesus, but very few of them do have any relationship with Jesus.

We must not allow ourselves to be distracted from Jesus Himself, from our communication with Him, our contact with Him, through the Holy Spirit that He gives to dwell in us.

It is easy to get distracted, even by good things, religious things. Many Christians occupy themselves with church activities and with Bible studies, but they have no relationship with Jesus. Their mind is occupied with other things.

Our mind must be on Jesus. We must always be praying in our mind and maintain contact with Him. It is only when we are focused on Jesus that the Holy Spirit will guide us. If we get distracted by other things we will lose the way, because Jesus is the way.

It is not about the Bible. It is not about the things that we want to do for Jesus; it is those things that His Holy Spirit inspires in us, that which He speaks in us and to us, those things that He tells us to do, the revelation that He gives us. It is about our relationship with Him, in prayer, our contact with Him, our spirit being one with His Spirit, the Holy Spirit that He gives to dwell in us.  If we lose that contact we are in grave danger because then we are not doing the will of God any more, we are distracted, and we get busy with unfruitful works and even with sin.

We must stay focused on Jesus, pray always, that we do not fall into temptation. If our focus is on ourselves, what we are trying to do or what we are trying to achieve for Jesus, then we lose focus of Him. But if our focus is on Him, then He guides us and He enables us to do His will.

We must not allow ourselves to be distracted from Jesus. We must always be praying and listening, tuned in to the Holy Spirit that He gives to dwell in us.

May Jesus bless you.

Divine Calling

I am not a preacher. I don't have a title I don't have a ministry. I don't have a church. I don't have a following, but I do have a calling. I was a business manager all my life. Most of my life I've worked in factories, but Jesus Christ called me.

One night He spoke to me. He said:"Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Go wherever I send you, and take their hand and put it in My hand and I will guide them." Jesus called me to make disciples that hear His voice, that know Him and that follow Him; and that is what I am here to do, is to do what He tells me to do. He speaks to me, He guides me, He teaches me and He commands me, and I speak His words. I'm here to take your hand and put it in the hand of Jesus so that you can know Him and follow Him. The kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ, the Lord, knowing Him, obeying Him and following Him.

Without Jesus we can do nothing. You don't need a church, you don't need a preacher, you don't need anything but Jesus Christ. All you need is Jesus. Jesus will say to many people in that day:"Go away I never knew you." What will He say to you?  Do you know Him? Now is the time to get to know Jesus, to follow Him until the very end. If we do not know Him now, we will not know Him the day that we die and then it will be too late to get to know Him . Now is the time to seek Jesus with all your heart. Jesus Christ is the way. Follow Him and you will have life.

May Jesus bless you.

Broken to be Useful

Jesus and needs to break
us before He can use us. The egg needs to be broken before it can be
used. The bread needs to be broken before it can be eaten. The wine
needs to be made before it can be poured it is made of grapes and
those grapes have got to be crushed in order to produce the wine. The
clay needs to be molded in order to make a pot but the glory goes to
the maker, not to the material that he uses to produce his product.
Jesus needs to break us
before He can use us. How does He break us? He breaks us through
suffering, humiliation, pain, often through sickness; because we need
to become less and Jesus must become more. Jesus needs to break down
that which we are, our image, our pride, our self sufficiency, that
which we are, in order to use us for His glory, but if we are not
willing to submit to Him to allow Him to break us and make us into
that which He wants to make of us, then we are useless for the
kingdom of God and He will discard of us. If we are a rotten egg, He
will throw us away. If we are sour grapes we are not suitable for
wine. If we are lumpy and unmoldable clay then the Potter cannot use
us, and He will discard of us. He will use another lump of clay to
produce His product. We need to become less and Jesus must become
more. He must form us and make us and reduce us to that which is
usable for Him, for His kingdom and for His glory. Jesus must be
glorified through what He attains through us. We must submit
ourselves to Him and allow Him to form us, to make us into that which
He wants to make of us.
We must allow Him to use
us. We must submit to Him and let Him use us for that which He
pleases. It is not about our plans, our will, our wisdom, our
abilities, our image; is not about us, it is about Jesus, about His
glory, the kingdom of God.
Are we usable? Will we
submit to Jesus when he puts us through suffering, through pain? How
do we react? Do we first run to the doctor or do we submit to Jesus
and ask Him:"Lord have Your way in my life."? If He puts
us in a bad neighborhood among bad people, how do we react? Do we
want to change the neighborhood, do we get annoyed or do we allow the
love and the light of Jesus Christ to flow through us? Are we here
for Jesus or for ourselves? Are we offended? Are we hurt? Are we
selfish? Are we ambitious, or do we submit ourselves to the Master
and let Him use us as He pleases for His kingdom. We need to be
broken before we can be used, and we cannot break ourselves. We must
allow the Master to break us, in the way which pleases Him. We must
follow Him where He takes us. We must allow Him to put us where He
wants to use us. We must submit to Jesus, go where He sends us, live
where He wants us to live. Give up what He wants us to give up, not
what we want to give up. We have to submit to Him. Let Him have His
way in us. Thank Him and praise Him in all things.
Look at the example of
Job. He accepted the good times from God, the blessings, but when he
was chastised he did not complain, he did not moan. He was a thankful
to receive both the good and the bad from God. Do we have that
attitude? Are we willing to be broken to be used? Are we willing to
let Jesus Christ have His way with us. If we are not willing to be
broken to be used then we are not suitable for His kingdom and He
will discard of us. We must allow Jesus to have His way with us, in
us and through us; all for His glory.
May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Saves and Protects - My Testimony

Jesus Christ saves and He
keeps. He saves us from sin, He saves us from ourselves and He keeps
us. He protects us. He provides in all our needs. He keeps us from
stumbling and He keeps us from harm. So many times in my life Jesus
has protected me. He has prevented me from being killed, from getting
harmed.
Just during this week I
was on a construction site. It was wet and slippery and I slipped and
fell on some building debris. I came down very hard but it was
absolutely amazing that I did not get hurt. I fell very hard on some
very sharp objects. I could have broken a leg or a hip or I could
have knocked my head on something, I could have been very very badly
hurt. When I got up from the mud and the debris and I inspected my
body I saw that I only had a few minor scratches. It was truly
amazing that night, when I thought about it, I had no pain I had no
swellings. Jesus kept me from getting hurt. His angels carried me in
their hands.
It's just so amazing, so
many times in my life Jesus has kept me alive. He has kept me from
harm, because Jesus is amazing, He is God. He looks after His
children, not because they are good but because He is good and if we
accept Him as our Lord He takes care of us. Even though sometimes we
might not be faithful, we might not be faithful, we might stray from
Him, we might do what is wrong, but He doesn't change. He is God, He
is good. We often get disappointed and frustrated when things do not
work out the way that we wish but God is good and He takes care of
us. Jesus never changes. I look back at my life and there are so
many times that I should have been killed in an accident. I flew my
own airplane for many years and I got in some serious trouble, in bad
weather where many other pilots have got themselves killed, but Jesus
kept me alive.
My wife and I have been in
very dangerous places, lived in dangerous places where people get
killed for as cellphone or for a few dollars, or for nothing, but
Jesus kept us He protected us. We never had a gun, we never tried to
protect ourselves, but Jesus kept His hand on us. He protects his
own.
Many years ago we were
traveling in Namibia and the front wheel of the truck burst; we were
towing a camping trailer. We were six people in that truck and when
that front will burst that truck left the road; I lost control but I
remember just saying:"Lord help." The truck and the trailer
was totally destroyed and the six of us crawled out of that wreckage
virtually unscathed. Jesus kept His hand on us He protected us.
He protects His children.
Nothing can happen to us if Jesus does not allow it. He protects his
own and that is why we must thank Him and praise Him in all
situations. We must see Him, see His hand in whatever happens to us,
whether it be good or bad fortune, sickness or health. We must see
the hand of God, because He is with us. He stays with us, He keeps
us, He protects us. Jesus Christ saves and keeps, He looks after His
own. He is faithful. Jesus shows His goodness and His mercy to those
who love Him, who find their refuge in Him, who trust Him. and
therefore we must serve Him with all our heart. We must give Him
glory and honor. We must obey Him and stay with Him because He is God
Almighty, He is wonderful, but He is also consuming fire to those who
stray from Him, to those who
keep on doing wrong.
Jesus will chastise us,
He will correct us and if we do not listen, if we do not obey, if we
do not mend our ways and turn to Him; do what is pleasing to Him,
then Jesus will cut us off. Jesus did cut me off almost 19 years
ago. I had a heart attack and I died, and I was cut off. I was on
my way to hell. I was not serving Jesus in the way that He requires
of us. He requires discipleship, He requires total dedication, just
like he is dedicated to us. He is a jealous God. I died and I was on
my way to hell but Jesus had mercy on me. I pleaded. I said:"Lord
let me just go back and tell the world that Jesus is alive and hell
is real" and Jesus gave me a second chance to come back to
witness for Him; to tell the world that Jesus Christ is the living
God. You cannot fool around with Jesus you will end up in hell.
Jesus requires discipleship, not just that we believe in Him. We
cannot use Him nor abused Him. Jesus gave everything for us and we
must live our lives to please Him.
Jesus died for us, He paid
the ultimate price but we have to die to sin and we have to die to
our own ambitions, to our own ways and submit ourselves to Him. We
must serve Him with all our heart. Jesus gave everything for us and
we have to give everything for Him. He does not accept half-measures.
Do not despise the grace of God, because Jesus is drawing us closer
to Him, to walk in His perfect will, but He will not tolerate
disobedience. If we deny Him, He will deny us. If we keep on straying
from Him, disobeying Him then we will end up in hell. Submit your
life to Jesus, make Him the Lord of your life and experience that He
is good. Serve Him with all your heart until the very end, because
Jesus is the only way. He is the truth and the the life. Seek Him and
you will find Him and you will experience the goodness of God, the
goodness of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Praise be to His Name.
Jesus Christ is Lord.
May Jesus bless you.

Jesus will guide you IF you are serious

Jesus Christ teaches and
guides each and every person who wishes to follow Him. Jesus invites
us to follow Him and He will guide us. The apostle James wrote:"If
any man needs wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men freely."
If we need wisdom or guidance we must ask Jesus and the wisdom and
the guidance will be provided in the situation at the right time.
Jesus said to His disciples that when they are brought before
authorities, when they are persecuted, they must not be concerned
about what they will say, how they will answer, because the answer,
the words that they must speak, will be given to them at that moment.
If we truly wish to follow
Jesus, He will guide us; but we need to ask Him. If you don't know
what to do, or what to say, in a situation, just pray and the Holy
Spirit will put the right answer in your mind; but you need to ask.
If you are serious about following Jesus, He will guide and teach you
every step of the way.
May Jesus bless you.

Check your motives

Many Christian believers
are disappointed with Jesus Christ. Many of them are resentful; they
are even mad at Him because they feel that they are not getting what
they deserve. Many have been seeking after the baptism in the Holy
Spirit for years. Others want to hear the voice of God. They pray,
they ask Jesus to speak to them and they hear nothing. Others want
assurances off Jesus, but they get nothing.
These people need to check
their motives. They need to examine themselves, because Jesus called
us to be His witnesses. It is our duty to bring glory to Him. We
should not be entitled, we do not deserve anything, but we are called
to bring glory to our Lord and Master. Jesus said:"Seek first
the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things
will be added unto you." If we come to Jesus as beggars, if we
always want things our way, if we are disgruntled, disappointed,
anxious, despondent, it is because our motives are wrong. We are
focused on ourselves and our selfish desires, we should bring glory
to Jesus. That is our purpose.
If we live for Jesus and
to bring glory to Him then we will not even need to ask for what we
need. He gladly gives to His children whatever they need even before
they ask, because He is a good God. He is a good father, but if we
are selfish and ambitious and we want things for ourselves then we
have forgotten what the kingdom of God is about. It is all about
Jesus. All the glory, all the honor all the praise goes to Jesus. We
deserve nothing. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Once you start
thanking Jesus, praising Him, witnessing for Him, giving Him glory
then the joy of Jesus Christ will fill your heart and you will
receive more than you ever thought, more than you ever needed. Bring
glory to Jesus and He will lift you up.
May Jesus bless you.
