You will lose it all

It does not matter how many riches you accumulate, how many prizes you win or how famous you are, the moment you die you will lose it all. Jesus said:” 36“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? 37“For what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:36-38.

“The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17.

The hope that we have in Jesus is eternal life, but only those who do the will of God, will have eternal life, the rest will endure eternal punishment in damnation.

What is the will of God? What must we do to have eternal life? Obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. Repent, turn from sin, stop sinning, be baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sin. Turn to Jesus, obey His words, His commands as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Seek Him with all your heart in prayer, ask Him and He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. He will give of His Spirit to be in you and with you to teach and guide you into all truth, righteousness and doing His will. If you obey Him and stay with Him, you will live, even when you die, you will live for ever.

Why many believers lose the WAY

Many believers who once knew Jesus Christ lose their way because they start listening to other people and they trust in their own understanding. They read books and they listen to so-called men of God, people who set themselves up as authorities.

We have to follow Jesus Christ. He alone is the WAY, He alone is the TRUTH. If we start going after people and follow our own mind, our own understanding then we lose Jesus Christ, we lose the WAY and we will perish.

We have to ask Jesus Christ GUIDANCE and UNDERSTANDING, we have to TRUST Him and stay with Him all the way. Without Jesus we are LOST. Without Jesus we will perish. All we need is Jesus Christ and if we do not trust Him and we do not follow Him we will lose our way.

Trust in Jesus, ask His guidance, stay with Him and He will keep you from stumbling, He will keep your foot from slipping. He will guide you into all truth.
