Holy Spirit is POWER and TRUTH Not Entertainment and Feelings

The Holy Spirit does not make you feel good, neither does He entertain the church, like so many believe. They do not know Him and do not have Him. The Holy Spirit brings you under the fear of God. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He reveals the truth and exposes hidden sins. Judgment of the Holy Spirit came on Ananias and Sapphira, who lied to Peter, as we read in Acts 5.
1But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife’s full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? 4“While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”5And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard of it. 6The young men got up and covered him up, and after carrying him out, they buried him.
7Now there elapsed an interval of about three hours, and his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8And Peter responded to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for such and such a price?” And she said, “Yes, that was the price.” 9Then Peter said to her, “Why is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out as well.” 10And immediately she fell at his feet and breathed her last, and the young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard of these things.”Acts 5:1-11.
Great fear came over the people, the fear of God. The crime was not that they did not give all the money, all the proceeds of the sale of the land to the apostles for distribution among the believers. The crime was that they lied. That is how serious God is about lying. That is how serious the judgment of the Holy Spirit is on liars. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
We further read from Acts 5:12 “12At the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were taking place among the people; and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s portico. 13But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem. 14And all the more believers in the Lord, multitudes of men and women, were constantly added to their number, 15to such an extent that they even carried the sick out into the streets and laid them on cots and pallets, so that when Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on any one of them. 16Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.”
We read in verse 13:”But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem.” The fear of God was on them. Where the Holy Spirit is there is judgment and power of God. You do not lie to a real man of God who is filled with the Holy Spirit. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit people will avoid you. The false Christians will persecute you.
Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14: 24 regarding the gifts of the Holy Spirit: “But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;25the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.” Prophecy that comes from God reveals the hidden sins of men. It is not sooth saying, like you experience in many so called Spirit filled churches. Where the Spirit of God is there is truth, holiness and the fear of God. Sinners run away, or they fall on their faces and repent lest the judgment of the Holy Spirit come on them and they are struck dead.
Modern day churches do not have the Holy Spirit. They are houses of entertainment, full of hypocrites and fake Christians. They are the haunts of demons. Deceived unholy sinning believers go there for entertainment and false assurance of salvation, given to them by lying preachers who many of them are fornicators, homosexuals, pedophiles and warlocks. They have Bibles and they preach from them, twisting the Scriptures to suite their lying doctrines. They are filled with demons and religious spirits. They entertain the people with myths, stories, jokes, music, bands, light effects, coffee shops, movies and Bible study. The Holy Spirit is not in those churches. They do not have the fear of God. They are the high way to hell.
Run from those churches. Run from those people. Run to Jesus and seek Him. Seek holiness and purity. Repent of your sin and stop sinning, be baptized in water for the forgiveness and washing off of your sin. Sin no more. Be holy and seek Jesus for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Follow and obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If you sin He will convict you, He will guide you into all truth. If you obey Him and live in holiness you will live and He will comfort you. If you disobey Him His discipline and judgment will come on you. Our God is a consuming fire. As John the baptist said:”I baptize you with water for repentance, but after me will come One more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. 12His winnowing fork is in His hand to clear His threshing floor and to gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:11. Jesus is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit and Fire. If you sin the Holy Spirit Fire will burn you. He will cleanse you through and through. If you walk with Him you walk with Fire. He does not tolerate sin. He is Holy.
Are you filled with His Spirit, the Holy Spirit? Are you following Him in holiness and obedience in the fear of God?
May Jesus bless you.
