Self-confidence is Antichrist

Those who wish to follow Jesus need to repent of self-confidence. Self-confidence is in direct opposition to trusting in Jesus. Trusting in your own abilities and judgment will prevent you from following and obeying Jesus.

Without Jesus we can do nothing. Without Jesus you will not make it into heaven. True faith in Jesus requires that you submit yourself fully and unconditionally to Him. Firstly you have to obey His teachings, live according to His commands as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Repent of sin and of going after your own ways, be baptized in water, as Jesus commanded. Seek Jesus, seek His guidance. He will give His Holy Spirit in you to teach and guide you, but you have to TRUST Him more than your SELF, or else you will not obey Him. The commands of Jesus and the guidance that He gives you, will not always make logical sense to you. If you trust and follow Jesus you will be regarded as crazy, by the world and by unbelievers, even professing Christians. Most professing Christians will reject, ridicule and persecute you, because they trust in themselves, their Bible knowledge, their church, worldly systems and other people.

Faith in Jesus, means to deny yourself, deny your self-confidence, and trust in Him above all things. If you do not trust AND follow Jesus your faith is useless. If you do not OBEY Him but rather follow after your own opinion or interpretation of the Bible, then you are Antichrist, unbelieving, not fit for heaven.

"Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons (children) of God."Romans 8:14.

Is your trust and and confidence in Jesus? Do you follow Him, or do you rather trust in yourself?

You Will Receive Your Rightful Wages

God will repay each one according to his deeds. To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.

There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil, first for the Jew, then for the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then for the Greek. For God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:6-11.

"For the wages of sin is death."Romans 6:23

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return. 8The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."Galatians 6:7,8.

Dear friends, after spending our life on this earth, what wages do we expect when we stand before the judgment throne of Jesus Christ? What did we sow? We will reap what we have sown, either eternal life or eternal torment in damnation.

Wrong Emphasis Christians

Many professing Christians have the wrong emphasis. They are busy with unfruitful religious practices that will not get them into heaven. There is only one thing that will determine your eternal destiny and that is your obedience to Jesus.

Jesus said:“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47“Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: 48he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49“But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”Luke 6:46-49.

Many Christian believers think they have salvation but they ignore the words of Jesus. They do not obey Him. They will end up in hell if they do not repent, stop sinning, be baptized in water, and live according to the words of Jesus as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They will not enter heaven if they are not born again of water and of the Spirit of God. They cannot follow Jesus if they do not seek and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Our emphasis must be on Jesus, obeying His words, being guided by Him, through the Holy Spirit that He gives in and with those who seek to follow Him.

Religion, going to church, endless Bible studies and teachings, fellowship with other believers, will not save you.

It is all about Jesus, knowing, obeying and following Him, every day, in all things. Jesus Christ alone is the way the truth and the life.  Without Him, we can do nothing. Without Jesus we have no hope of salvation.

Is your emphasis on Jesus, obeying Him, following Him and having His approval? Is Jesus your Lord?

Salvation Will Cost You Everything

Jesus said:"Follow Me." He never said to just believe in Him. He said we must become His disciples to have eternal life. If you believe in Jesus, you have to obey Him.

Jesus never said salvation is free. He said:“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters— yes, even his own life— he cannot be My disciple. 27And whoever does not carry his cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple."Luke 14:26. If we love anything more than Jesus, we are not  worthy of Him.

Does it mean that you have to hate your loved ones in order to follow Jesus? No. It means that you have to love and obey Jesus MORE than them.

In order to follow Jesus you have to repent, turn from sin and from following after your selfish desires. Turn to Jesus and commit to obey and follow Him. You have to obey His words, His teachings as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Be baptized in water and live holy. Seek fellowship with Jesus in prayer and He will give His Holy Spirit to be in and with you to teach and guide you. Put your mind on Jesus and on pleasing Him and He will guide you, so that you can follow Him and do what He tells you to do. He will clearly guide you, speak to you in your spirit, in your heart.

He will tell you what He wants you to do. He will convict you of things that you need to stop doing, things you need to get rid of. He will send you to speak to people. He will put the words that you have to speak in your mouth and in your mind, but if you do not follow and obey Him, you cannot be pleasing to Him, you cannot be His disciple. If you care more for the reaction or feelings of others than for what Jesus commands, you cannot obey Him. If you care more for your possessions, securities and your own comforts than for obeying Jesus, you cannot be His disciples, you cannot follow Him, you cannot be pleasing to Him. You have to be willing to give up everything in order to follow Jesus and do what He commands.

Jesus does not ask for sacrifice. He wants obedience. Giving up your earthly pleasures does not please Jesus. He requires you to do what He tells you to do. In the process you will have to give up certain things. If you refuse, those things or relationships will prevent you from following Jesus and obeying Him.

Jesus will never force us to follow Him, but if we refuse to pay the price of obedience, we cannot please Him, we cannot be His disciple and we will not inherit eternal life. We need to die to self and live for Jesus, to have eternal life.

Do not be fooled into believing the lies of the easy believerism preachers, that say that you only need to believe in Jesus to have salvation. Faith without works is dead. If you do not follow and obey Jesus, and pay the price of obedience to Him, you will not have salvation.

Get serious with Jesus. Follow and obey Him until the end or you will not have salvation.

Fear Not Do Not Worry

Jesus told His disciples not to worry and not fear.

We read in Luke 12:22"And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. 23“For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24“Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! 25“And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? 26“If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? 27“Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 28“But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! 29“And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. 30“For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. 31“But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.

33“Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys. 34“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

If we follow and obey Jesus we need not fear nor stress. If we seek His will, His kingdom, then we have peace in our heart, because we know that He cares for us and makes all things work together for good for those who obey Him.

Those who sin and disobey Jesus, and go after their own desires,  have reason to fear and stress, because they will not inherit His kingdom, they will not enter heaven, unless they repent and follow Jesus..

Do we follow Jesus, obey Him and seek His approval? Can we pray with confidence and know He hears our prayers because we do what is pleasing to Him?

The Fear of God

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."Proverbs 9:10. The reason why Christians do not stop sinning is because they do not know Jesus, and therefor they do not fear and respect Him. They are foolish. They have no knowledge of God.

Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:34 "Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame."

That is what is wrong with most professing Christians. They have never met Jesus. They do not know Him. They are on their way to hell. They have an image of Jesus in their mind, but it is false.

Those who know Jesus fear and respect Him. We read in Hebrews 12:29 "For our God is a consuming fire." You cannot walk with God and live in sin. The reason why you sin is because you are far from God. "Without holiness no man shall see God" Hebrews 12:14.

Repent, stop sinning, be holy. Seek Jesus before it is too late. Know Him, fear Him and obey Him or you will perish.

Are you really born again?

Many people claim to be born again but they are not. How would you know if you are born again? We read in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new."

The moment that you accept Jesus Christ and invite Him into your life you are changed, you are made new, you become a new creation, you are born again, you see the Light, you see the kingdom of heaven and you want to go in there. Immediately you have new desires, a new taste, an appetite for the things of the kingdom of heaven and for being with Jesus.  Immediately you find your old life of sin and your old ways repulsive, because you have been born again. You feel that you do not fit in with this world and the wickedness that is in it any more.

You don't need to be taught or indoctrinated to become a child of God, you are born again of the Spirit of God. You don't want to sin any more. You want to be pure and holy because you have a new heart. You did not just have a change of heart or a change of mind, you have a new heart and a new mind.

Jesus will never leave you, but if you leave Him and go back to your old ways of sin, you will spiritually die. You have to stay with Jesus and obey your new heart. You have to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit that reminds you of the words of Jesus and you have to obey Jesus, turn away from your old ways of sin, turn away from your old friends, be baptized in water as Jesus commanded. Tune in to the Holy Spirit and ignore the devil speaking in your ear.

Draw closer to Jesus in prayer and He will baptize  you with the Holy Spirit and with fire, to cleanse you and burn out all the dross in you, worldliness and selfish desires of the flesh. Stay IN Christ, IN His will by OBEYING His voice speaking in your heart, then you will grow spiritually and produce fruit of righteousness and holiness. You will be a witness for Jesus through your words and actions. Stay with Jesus, stay IN Him and you will grow and bear much fruit. You will bring others to Jesus so that they can be born again and become children of God..

If you listen to the devil and go back to sin you will dwindle and die spiritually. Eventually you will be cut off and burned, you will end up in hell.

Have you been born again? Are you a new creature and are you staying IN Christ? Are you growing in your relationship with Jesus? Are you bearing fruit?  If you have strayed from Jesus, run back to Him, repent and follow Him.

If you have never been born again, now is the time to invite Jesus into your life so that you can become born again, a child of God, for ever to stay with Him, for eternity.

You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven if you are not born again and IN Christ.

No Time for Celebration

Many Christian believers think they are saved because they believe in Jesus. They think they can sit back and have a party in church, have doughnuts and coffee, while they wait for the rapture and snarl "unbelievers," that are not "saved" or not members of their church, those who do not go to church.

Jesus never called us to a party. He never called us to "church."  He calls us to follow Him and work for His kingdom. There is a race to be run. There is a fight to be fought, there are battles to be won.

Jesus has not done it all for you. You need to gird your loins and get into the fight. Get up, get into action, deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus, every day. Repent and be holy. Be baptized in water as Jesus commanded. Put on Jesus, be filled with His Holy Spirit and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Bear good fruit, multiply, be a disciple of Jesus Christ and make disciples.

If you don't bear fruit, you will get cut off and burned. You will not enter heaven.

There will be a celebration in heaven for those who followed Jesus, won the race, the battles, overcame, made disciples for Jesus and endured with Him until the end.

Do not sit back and become complacent. There is no time for celebration now. You first have to win the prize of eternal life by following Jesus and enduring with Him, until the end.

Do you have the Holy Spirit?

If you seek the truth, you need the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.

 Most Christian believers do not want the Holy Spirit because they hate the truth. They are running after their own desires and fables, stories, theories made up by people.

Many claim to have the Holy Spirit but they are not walking in truth, they are in darkness. They are fumbling around and running after every new storie or false prophecy made up by men.  Others follow their own mind and their own insight and interpretation of the Bible, because they do not trust Jesus and they do not trust the Holy Spirit.

Some speak in tongues but they live in sin. They might at some time have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, but they are not following the Holy Spirit. By their deeds it is obvious that they are following satan, they have demons.

If you have the Holy Spirit and you are following the guidance of the Holy Spirit you will be walking in truth, because the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. You will not sin. You will live holy and righteously. You will not seek guidance from men, or from the Bible, or from any other source. You will follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and do the will of God.

Do you have the Holy Spirit and do you follow His guidance?

Interaction with God

All men are born with the ability to interact with God, but many seek their own way, they reject their Maker.

God has written His laws in our hearts, in our conscience, so that no man will have any excuse for doing wrong. Our conscience is from God, not from ourselves. It is the voice of God in us, speaking to those who listen.

The only way to interact with God is through prayer. If we seek Him, we find Him and He reveals Himself to us through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. Jesus is the ONLY way. Without Jesus there is no life, no hope. Jesus said:“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6.

If we do not interact with Jesus, if we do not know Him and He does not know us, we will not enter heaven.

Jesus said:"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me." John 10:27.

Not all people, or believers are His sheep, only those who have been born again and who listen to Him, who follow and obey Him.

Seek the truth. Seek Jesus. Pray, call on Him. Repent of your sin and wicked ways. Plead Jesus forgiveness. Accept Him as your Lord and Master, to LISTEN to Him and to OBEY Him. Be baptized in water as He commanded. Obey His words as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. He will accept you as His own and make you new inside, born again. He will give His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, in you, to teach and guide you, so that you can interact with Him.

Jesus is not part of a one-sided religion, as preached in most churches. You need to pray, seek Jesus. He will reveal Himself to you, so that He will know you, and you will know Him.

Do you know Jesus? Do you interact with Him? Do you follow and obey Him, or do you practice a one-sided religion?
