THEORETICAL CHRISTIANS THEY DON'T FOLLOW JESUS

A Christian is a follower of Jesus, not

just a believer. Many believe in Jesus but they do not follow nor
obey Him. They are not really Christians. They might believe that
they have salvation and that they will have eternal life, but they
will not, if they do not follow and obey Jesus.

Many believers think that they will
have eternal life because they believe in Jesus, they might be
preachers, who build churches, preach and cast out demons. They might
have Holy Spirit gifts and they perform miracles in the Name of
Jesus, but they are living in sin. They cheat, steal, lie, watch
pornography, lust, fornicate. They are not living holy lives. They
are IN SIN. Without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Jesus said:”  21“Not
everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of
heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will
enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did
we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and
in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will
declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU
WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ Matthew 7:21-23.

If we obey the commands of Jesus,
repent and are baptized, live holy lives and live according to His
teachings, as they were also recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and
John, Jesus promised to disclose Himself to us. He promised to give
His Holy Spirit to be with us and in us, to guide us in all things.
We will know Him and He will know us, we will become His sheep, who
follow Him. Jesus said:“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them,
and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they
will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.“John
10:27,28.

We have to become His sheep. We must
know His voice, listen to Him, and follow Him to be able to serve Him
and do what is pleasing to Him. Jesus is not impressed with the plans
that believers make, the churches that they build, their own
initiatives. He requires OBEDIENCE. He requires that we FOLLOW Him,
that we follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, go where He sends us
and DO what He tells us to do.

Are you a Theoretical Christian? Do you
just believe in Jesus, read the Bible, go to church, pay your tithes
to the church and practice religion while you live in sin and follow
your own mind and desires? Then you will not enter heaven, dear
friend. You are on the broad road that leads to destruction.

You have to follow Jesus. Repent, stop
sinning. Be baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sins. Live
holy. Live in obedience to the teachings of Jesus. Seek Jesus with
all your heart in prayer. Jesus will disclose Himself to you. He will
baptize you in the Holy Spirit. He will speak to you. He will teach
and guide you. He will KNOW you, and give you eternal life IF you
follow Him until the end.

Are you one of His sheep, following and
obeying Him, or are you a Theoretical Christian, deceived and on your
way to destruction?
