WHY YOU HAVE TO TAKE COMMUNION

Every born again child of God must

often take communion. Jesus said:” “Truly, truly, I say to
you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood,
you have no life in yourselves. 54“He who eats My flesh and
drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last
day. 55“For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true
drink. 56“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in
Me, and I in him. 57“As the living Father sent Me, and I live
because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because
of Me. 58“This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not
as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live
forever.” John 6:53-58. Jesus was talking about communion.

Taking communion is done in remembrance
of the death and suffering that Jesus went through to pay the price
for our redemption. Had He not paid that price, we would be doomed to
hell and damnation. “Without shedding of blood there is no
forgiveness.”Hebrews 9:22. Jesus gives eternal life to those who
believe in Him and obey, Him, who repent and are baptized, sin no
more but live in obedience to Him. Taking communion reminds us of the
price that Jesus paid and enforces on us His command to SIN NO MORE.
If we should be living in sin and practicing sin while taking
communion, we would be eating and drinking the judgment of God on us
for despising the sacrifice and blood of Jesus. That judgment would
lead to punishment and even death if we do not repent and live holy.

The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians
11:23-33”For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered
to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed
took bread; 24and when He had given thanks, He broke it and
said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of
Me.” 25In the same way He took the cup also after
supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this,
as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26For
as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the
Lord’s death until He comes.

      27Therefore whoever eats the
bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be
guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28But a man must
examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink
of the cup. 29For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks
judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. 30For
this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number
sleep. 31But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be
judged. 32But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord
so that we will not be condemned along with the world.


      33So then, my brethren, when
you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34If anyone is
hungry, let him eat at home, so that you will not come together for
judgment.”


We read about the judgment of God on those who use the Lord's
Supper in an unworthy manner, in verse 30 “For this reason many
among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. “He is
talking about sickness and death as punishment from God.


The first believers did not have church buildings or temples, they
broke bread from house to house. The very same, we as followers of
Jesus must have communion in our houses, with fellow followers of
Jesus IN REMEMBERANCE of Him and the price that He paid for our
redemption.


You don't need to go to a church. You can have the Lord's Supper
in your house with wine and bread. We use grape juice because we do
not consume alcohol. We also use ordinary bread. Often it is just my
wife and I.


It is important that we have the Lord's Supper to maintain our
communion with Jesus.

You MUST Take Communion

Every born again child of
God must have communion with Him, must participate in the table of
the Lord, because as Jesus said, as I read from John 6:53 "Truly,
truly, I say to you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and
drink His blood you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh
and drinks My blood, has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the
last day." Our fellowship, our communion, is with Jesus Christ.
We must live in communion with Him and we must participate in the
table of the Lord. We must have communion with Him. That communion is
communion primarily with Jesus, not with other believers, with Jesus
Christ Himself, and then secondary, if there are some other Saints
present, they can participate in that table of the Lord, that
communion as well.

Our communion is with
Jesus Christ, our Fellowship is with Him, if we follow and obey Him
as the Apostle John wrote in 1John 1:3 "what we have seen and
heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship
with us and indeed our Fellowship is with the Father and with His
Son, Jesus Christ. These things we write so that your joy may be made
complete. This is the message that we have heard from Him and
announce to you that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at
all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the
darkness,we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the
Light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one
another and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. if
we say that we have no sin we are deceiving ourselves and the truth
is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to
forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we
say that we have not sinned we make Him a liar and His word is not in
us." We have to live in holiness. We have to obey His words and
walk in the light to be in fellowship with Him. If we are not living
in holiness and in obedience to Jesus Christ we cannot be in
fellowship with Him and then we should not be participating in
communion, because if we do so, we will eat and drink judgment on
ourselves. We read the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians
chapter 11 verse 23:"For I received from the Lord that which I
also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He
was betrayed, took bread and when He had given thanks He broke it and
said:"This is My body which is for you, do this in remembrance
of Me." In the same way He took the cup also after supper,
saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in my blood, do this as
often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me, for as often as you eat
this bread and drink the cup you proclaim the Lord's death until He
comes." Very important now: "therefore whoever eats the
bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner shall be
guilty of the body and a blood

of the Lord, but a man
must examine himself and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and
drink of the cup, for he who eats and drinks eats and drinks judgment
to himself, if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason

have died already because they were under the judgment of God because
they participated in the table of the Lord in an unworthy manner)
verse 31:"but if we judged ourselves rightly we would not be
judged, but when we are judged we are disciplined by the Lord so that
we will not be condemned along with the world." We must live in
holiness and in obedience to Jesus Christ. We must live in communion
with Him and we must also participate in the table of the Lord, or
else we are not of Him, we are not part of Him.

We must be free from sin,
we must be baptized in water, and we must examine ourselves before we
participate apart in the table of the Lord. If we have any sin,
un-repented sin or anything that is between us and the Lord, we have
to first repent of it and plead His forgiveness, purify our hearts,
and then we can participate in the table of the Lord. Further we must
not have communion with, or fellowship with sinning Christians,
sinning believers. As the Apostle Paul also wrote in 1st Corinthians
chapter 5 verse 9 " I wrote you in my letter not to associate
with immoral people, I did not at all mean the immoral people of this
world or with the covetous and swindlers or the idolaters, for then
you would have to go out of the world, but actually I wrote you not
to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person or
covetous or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard or a swindler."
T that disqualifies most of the church people in the world today,
because most church people are professing sinners. They say:"We
are all sinners." They are not Saints and therefore they do not
live in, and they are not in communion with Jesus Christ, and we do
not fellowship with them .

We ought to be holy, and
we must worship Jesus in holiness. We must fellowship with Him and we
only fellowship with those who are serious followers of Jesus Christ,
and who prove by their walk, by their deeds that thy are children of
God, holy men and women. Our communion is with Jesus Christ, and our
communion must be holy. If we have communion and there are other
saints with us, the true followers of Jesus Christ we may participate
with them in the table of the Lord, but not with sinning Christians,
because they are not in communion with Jesus. Prepare for yourself a
tray with bread and wine or grape juice. Prepare yourself, examine
yourself, that you are in right standing with Jesus, that there is no
sin in your life, that there is nothing between you and Jesus, and
then participate in the table of the Lord. Have communion with Jesus,
strengthen your relationship, your communion Him. It has required of
us to participate in the table of the Lord, because if we do not take
communion we are not of Jesus, we are not of Him. Take a communion in
your house, with Saints if there are Saints with you, or else take
communion on your own, but do it frequently and stay in communion
with Jesus Christ.

Do Not Have Communion With False Christians

The worldly unholy churches of this age bear no resemblance to the true Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is not in those churches and those churches are not part of the Body of Christ and therefor the true followers of Jesus Christ should not associate with them, should not share the Lord's Supper with them. They have nothing to do with them.

We have to separate ourselves from them and follow Jesus Christ, serve Him in utter holiness. The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 5:9

"I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES."

The problem with the present day church is that the church is wicked. They confess to be SINNERS. They say "we are all sinners" and they do not intend to repent. They are UNHOLY and therefor a true follower of Jesus Christ cannot associate with them. We have to come out from among them and serve Jesus in holiness. Their preachers are immoral people, unholy, covetous, men of the world, not men of God. And therefor we have to come out from among them.

The apostle Paul also writes in 2 Corinthians 6:14

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,

“I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;

AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.

“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;

 And I will welcome you.

“And I will be a father to you,

 And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”

 Says the Lord Almighty.”

They claim to be believers but by their deeds they deny Christ. They put shame on His Name. They do not follow Jesus Christ. They are unholy, unrighteous, men of the world, they are not of Jesus Christ. Have no relationship with them. Have no communion with them. Do not attend their churches. Do not go there for communion. Have communion in the church in your house. Have communion with those who truly follow Jesus Christ and do not associate with false Christians.

Be pure and be holy. Follow Jesus Christ and keep fellowship with Him. Separate yourself from them and be holy unto the Lord.

Living in COMMUNION with God

Sinful man has no communication with
God. Sin separates us from God and we have to get rid of that sin
before we can come into the presence of God and we have to be pure
and holy to maintain that relationship with God.

If we go on our knees before Jesus and
we repent of sin, if we have true remorse over our sin and we ask
Jesus Christ for forgiveness then He removes the guilt of that sin,
He takes away that sin that is between us and Him and we come into
communion with Him, we experience His peace. But if we turn around
and go back to sin then that sin separates us from God. That is why
most Christian believers have no communication with God. They are
living in sin, they willfully sin.

The wages of sin is death. To be out of
communion with Jesus Christ is DEATH, death to our soul, eternal
damnation. That is why we must remain pure and holy and not allow
anything to come between us and Jesus Christ. If we stumble and sin
we have to immediately repent to remove the sin that now separates us
from God. If we willfully sin Jesus will not forgive our sin and we
will remain separated from Him, we will be in darkness. We must keep
ourselves pure and holy and in utter obedience to Him. If we purify
ourselves and live in holiness before Jesus we will be in constant
communion, constant communication with Him.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God
they are the sons of God. If we do not have that spiritual
communication wit God, with the Holy Spirit that speaks in our spirit
then we are separated from God, we are cut off from Him. It is our
own sin and our own wrongdoing that separates us from God. Without
Jesus we are LOST. Without that communication we are DOOMED.

Man shall not live from bread alone but
from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. If we are not in
communion with Jesus, if we do not hear Him speaking in our spirit
and giving us peace then we are separated from Him and we are in
danger of HELL FIRE. The only way that we can WALK WITH GOD, HEAR
His VOICE, LISTEN to Him and FOLLOW Him is if we walk in holiness,
purity and OBEDIENCE to the Holy Spirit. Without holiness no man
shall see God. If you are not living holy you will not HEAR the Holy
Spirit of God speaking to you because your sin separates you from
God.

Repent form the heart and ask Jesus to
take away that sin and then live pure and holy every moment and you
will come into communication, COMMUNION with God.

Communion The Lord's Supper

It is important that we who believe in
Jesus Christ and who have REPENTED, who have been baptized into Him ,
that we participate in His Body, that we have COMMUNION, with each
other and with Jesus Christ.

I read the words of Jesus as written in
John 6:53

 Jesus therefor said to them,
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of
Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. “He
who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will
raise him up on the last day. “For My flesh is true food, and
My blood is true drink. “He who eats My flesh and drinks My
blood abides in Me, and I in him. “As the living Father sent
Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he shall
also live because of Me. “This is the bread which came down
out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this
bread will live forever.”

The apostle Paul also led the believers
in participating in the Lord's Supper. I read his words from 1
Corinthians 11:23

He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this
in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the

Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you
proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes."

And that is what we are doing right
here, we are having the Lord's Supper. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee Lord for
this wonderful privilege that we have to be in Christ. We thank Thee
Lord Jesus that we can participate in this meal, this supper, in
remembrance of Thee, in remembrance of Calvary, in remembrance of the
price that was paid for our salvation and also in the resurrection
through which we have wonderful promises, we have the expectation of
the inheritance of eternal life if we endure with Thee until the very
end.

We thank Thee Lord that we can be ONE
with Thee, that we can be UNITED with Thee in this table by
participating of Thy Body and drinking of Thy blood. We thank Thee
Lord Jesus for this table. We thank Thee for the bread and we thank
Thee for the fruit of the vine, Thy blood, that was shed for us. We
thank Thee Father and we pray Thy blessing on us as we participate in
Thy table, we pray in Jesus' Name.

In the night that the Lord Jesus was
betrayed He took bread and He broke it (breaking the bread) and He
said:"This is My Body that is broken for you, eat of this as
often as you do, in remembrance of Me. (Sharing and eating the bread)

We thank Thee Lord. We thank Thee Lord
Jesus for Thy Body. we thank Thee Lord that we have LIFE in us, we
thank Thee Father.

And after the supper the Lord took the
cup also and He said:"This is the new testament in My blood,
participate of this in remembrance of Me as often as you do so."

We thank Thee Lord Jesus, we thank Thee
for Thy blood that was shed for us and through which we have the
expectation of the inheritance of Thy kingdom, we thank Thee Lord.
(Drinking the wine/grape juice).

Hallelujah Lord Jesus, we thank Thee
Lord for the LIFE that we have in us, we thank Thee Lord for this
table. We thank Thee Lord for Thy Body that was broken for us and
that we can remember Thy suffering, Thy resurrection and that we can
be united with Thee in this table and in our relationship, our
communion with Thee. We thank Thee Father. We bless Thee, we give
Thee all the glory, we thank Thee in Jesus' precious Name. Amen.

God is with YOU

God is always with us. The problem is that most people are not with God, because of sin. Sin separates us from God and removes us from His presence. If we sin we have no relationship nor communion with God. We can only have a relationship and communion with God if we get rid of sin. We can only get rid of sin if we STOP SINNING and OBEY Jesus Christ, be BAPTIZED IN WATER for the washing off of our sins and then go on to OBEY Jesus Christ who will give His SPIRIT IN US through Whom we can be in relationship and communion with God.

Are you in communion with God? Are you WITH GOD or are you IN SIN? The soul that sins will perish. No sinners can come into the presence of God. We can only be WITH GOD if we get rid of our sin . Are you WITH GOD? Are you in communion with God? Or are you living IN SIN?

Jesus NOT the Bible

Eternal life IS Jesus Christ, the only true and living God, KNOWING HIM and living in constant communion with Him. Those who KNOW Him and FOLLOW Him talk about Him. They tell the world about Him because they KNOW Him.

Many only know the Bible, many are only religious, that is all that they can talk about because they DO NOT KNOW JESUS CHRIST. They do not live in communion with Him.

Do you KNOW Jesus Christ? His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they FOLLOW Him every day. He IS their LIFE. Do you KNOW Jesus? Have you found the only true living God, Jesus Christ and are you living in CONSTANT COMMUNION with Him?
