USING GOD’S GIFTS FOR PERSONAL GAIN

Most churches and many preachers are using the Bible, the gospel of Jesus Christ and even the gifts of the Holy Spirit for personal gain, while deceiving, exploiting and robbing believers. People are lured to churches using the gospel of Jesus Christ with the promise of eternal life for all who believe. Bible scriptures are used to convince them to believe that they will have eternal life if they confess to believe in Jesus. Bible scripture is also used to compel believers to submit to, serve and financially support the church or the ministry. Some receive and exercise spiritual gifts of healing, miracles and deliverance, casting out of demons in the name of Jesus. Those manifestations are used to attract people and increase church membership, which translates into increased revenue for the church and it’s operators.

Many people are deceived by the operation of these churches and believe that they are indeed fulfilling the will of God. The real indicator of the presence and approval of God lies in the fruit. Without holiness, no one will see the Lord. Modern day churches are known for tolerance, prosperity, inclusivity, not for holiness, repentance and obedience to Jesus. Jesus said: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ Matthew 7:21-23.

There are many churches in the world today, many mega churches, impressive ministries with millions of members and supporters, but their fruit is rotten. There is no holiness. They have no impact on the world. They are worldly, sinful, filled with sinners, homosexuals, fornicators, adulterers, liars, cheaters, warmongers, robbers, pedophiles, lovers of money and pleasure. That is not the church of Jesus Christ, His bride. They have no part in His kingdom. They profess to know Him and believe in Him, but He will deny and reject them, because He does not know them.

Do we know and follow Jesus, and does He know us?

Bogus personal prophecies

Many people are deceived by false prophets who prophecy prosperity, good things into the lives of believers. A true servant of God will never prophecy about your well being. A true servant of God will expose the darkness in your life and will bring you on your knees before the living God in fear and in awe. The kingdom of God is not about YOU or ME or about our greatness. It is about Jesus Christ, serving HIM as Lord and Master.

The way of eternal life is the way of the cross, of denying yourself, picking up your cross daily and following Jesus. It is a road of suffering, not of glory, not of pleasure and fun and prosperity in this world. It is a road of rejection, persecution, of suffering for Jesus Christ. If you truly follow Jesus Christ you will be hated by all men, you will be rejected by this world. You will not be regarded, you will not look for fame and prosperity and acceptance of this world, you will be seeking for the glory and acceptance, the approval of the Living God. It would not matter to you what people think of you. All that will matter is to endure with Jesus and to be pleasing to Him until the very end.

Beware of the false prophets that prophecy NICE THINGS over your life, they are servants of satan. Get on your knees and serve the one and only Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, bring glory to HIM because glory is due to HIM not to you and me. Build the kingdom of God and you will have an inheritance with Jesus Christ.

Do not run after the lies of false prophets but rather stay on your knees, listen to Jesus and let His Spirit guide you. His sheep listen to HIS VOICE and they follow HIM, they don't listen to false prophets that bring them good tidings.

May Jesus bless you.

Personal Performance

Your PERSONAL PERFORMANCE will determine where you spend eternity. If we love Jesus then we must OBEY Him. We must PERFORM in accordance with His words, that is the STANDARD, the words that Jesus spoke as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

If we OBEY Him, REPENT, turn away from sin and going after our own selfish desires and GO AFTER JESUS, be BAPTIZED IN WATER, then HE WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO US and He will GUIDE US BY His SPIRIT. We must follow that guidance and PERFECTLY OBEY HIM.

Not very many people will COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. They once asked Jesus whether those who are BEING SAVED ARE FEW and He said:”Strive HARD to enter the STRAIGHT GATE because I tell you MANY WILL TRY HARD AND NOT BE ABLE.

It is all dependent on your PERFORMANCE. How are you performing in accordance with the words of Jesus? Jesus said:”If you love Me OBEY MY COMMANDS. DO what I say.” Are you PERFORMING? Are you OBEYING His commands? Are you DOING what He s SAYING every day? Do you deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus EVERY DAY? Are you performing well enough to win the prize of eternal life? It is all about PERSONAL PERFORMANCE.

May Jesus bless you.
