Corrupted and Consumed by LUST

The main cause of corruption and destruction, the one thing that will cause many people to end up in hell is LUST. It is the lust of people that drive them to sin. It is lust that causes people to destroy other people, to destroy the world. Lust causes the corruption of the world and of people. The one thing that we have to get rid of if we want to enter the kingdom of heaven, is LUST.

I read the words of the apostle Peter in Peter 1:4-11

"For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by LUST."

The world is corrupted by LUST.

Verse 5 "Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, 6and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, 7and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. 8For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 10Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, YOU WILL NEVER STUMBLE;"

We have to get rid of LUST. We have to control ourselves  and focus on Jesus Christ, on doing His will or else our lust will consume us.

The apostle James wrote in James 4:1-10 "1What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2You LUST and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. 3You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? 6But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” 7Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 10Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you."

We have to get rid of LUST, of selfishness, of the desires of the flesh that drive men to SIN, to destroy others, to destroy the world, to commit sin, to kill others, to commit adultery, to take that which belongs to other people. Lust destroys people. We have to humble ourselves before the Lord, repent of lust and contain ourselves, practice self-control, focus on Jesus Christ and yearn after Him, desire the kingdom of God and His righteousness and He will add all the things that we need. But if we do not get rid of LUST and escape the the corruption that is in this world  through lust we ourselves will be consumed and destroyed, we will PERISH.

The world has LOST it's CONSCIENCE and CONSIOUSNESS of God

The world has lost it's conscience and also it's consciousness of God. People have no natural love or compassion, they don't care for others. They don't know what LOVE is. They are selfish and self-satisfying. Even Christians have no conscience. They have lost their awareness of God. They have no communication with God. It is because their sin separates them from God. they are totally deprived. Their minds are evil. That is why we need to be born again to be part of the kingdom of God. If we are not born again of the Spirit if God we have an EVIL MIND. Most Christians have an evil mind, sinful mind. They justify their sinful minds with psychological arguments and back it up with Bible verses. They do not have the Spirit of God. They are filled with malice and hatred, self-pity, murder, immorality, everything that is wicked. We need a NEW HEART to be able to communicate with God, to come into His presence and to be part of the kingdom of God.

We can only have that NEW HEART that new attitude, that new frame of mind if we invite Jesus Christ into our lives and we turn away from wickedness, if we embrace Jesus Christ  and repent of all sin, repent of selfishness and worldliness and submit ourselves to Jesus Christ. He will change us, He will make us NEW inside. We have to OBEY Him and turn our back on the world, on that which is wicked and sinful and invite Jesus Christ into our lives, live holy and righteous, be baptized in water and invite His Spirit, the Holy Spirit into us, into our hearts. Say:"Lord fill me with Your Spirit, with Your love, with Your knowledge, with Your truth so that I can be different, so that I can be part of the kingdom of God."

Without Jesus Christ we cannot do it.  But Jesus will not force us. We have to SEEK Him, we have to SEEK LIFE and we have to reject evil. We have to reject the corruption that is in us and embrace Jesus Christ by our own will. We have to go after Him and keep ourselves pure and holy so that His Spirit can dwell in us. If we embrace wickedness the Spirit of God will leave us and we will be in darkness. Seek Jesus with all your heart. Invite Him into your life, reject evil, obey Jesus Christ, repent, be baptized, seek the INFILLING with the Holy Spirit and preserve yourself for Jesus Christ. Keep yourself pure and holy and let Him dwell in you or else you will also perish like the rest of this world that is doomed. Seek Jesus now before it is for ever too late.

Dead Works that most Christians perform

Many Christian believers put their hope
for salvation in the WORKS that they do, for the CHURCH and as they
call it, for the “Kingdom of God.” Many give vast sums of money
to the church and they support the CHURCH, they support EVANGELISM,
they support PREACHERS. Many are preachers themselves that are
building vast MINISTRIES but they are busy with DEAD WORKS because
they are not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are not IN CHRIST, they are
not living in holiness and righteousness in obedience to Jesus
Christ.

We can only bear FRUIT and do GOOD
WORKS if we are IN CHRIST and we are LED BY the Holy Spirit. We read
the words of Jesus in John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father
is the vine dresser. 2“Every branch in Me that does not bear
fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He
prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3“You are already
clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4“Abide
in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless
it ABIDES IN THE VINE, so neither can you UNLESS YOU ABIDE
IN ME. 5“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in
Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO
NOTHING. 6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away
as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into
the fire and they are burned.”

Many people do marvelous works FOR GOD
but they are not IN CHRIST, they are not being LED by the Holy
Spirit. That which is of the flesh is flesh as Jesus also said and I
read from John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

If our inspiration and our GUIDANCE
does not come from the Holy Spirit, if we are not led by the Holy
Spirit then we are performing DEAD WORKS that are not pleasing to
God, they are worthless to the kingdom of God.

We read the words of Paul in Romans
8:13,14 “for if you are living according to the flesh, you must
die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the
body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God,
these are sons of God.” Many preachers, many churches, many people
have great initiatives but they are of the flesh, they are of their
OWN MIND, they are not LED by the Spirit of God. They build GREAT
CHURCHES and they have GREAT MINISTRIES but they are not part of the
kingdom of God because they do not have the Holy Spirit and they are
not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are performing DEAD WORKS.

All our works are tested by the FIRE OF
GOD. If our works are unfruitful DEAD WORKS then we will get CUT OFF
and BURNED as Jesus said. Every branch in Him that does not bear
fruit

Many people put their hope in the words
of Paul as written in 1 Corinthians 3:14 “If any man's work which
he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any
man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be
saved, yet so as through fire.” That is not what Jesus said, that
is what Paul said. Jesus said that if we do not bear GOOD FRUIT we
will get CUT OFF and BURNED.

Many believers have received Gifts of
the Holy Spirit and they think that the gifts that they received from
God are a GUARANTEE OF SALVATION. It is NOT. God never takes back His
gifts. There are many people who speak in tongues and they live in
sin. There are many who perform miracles in the Name of Jesus, they
preach and they have great ministries but they are living in
unrighteousness and in wickedness. They are building their own
empires and they are committing DEAD WORKS because they are not
following Jesus Christ. They are using the gifts of Christ to benefit
and enrich themselves and that is why many big preachers will be
terribly disappointed when they stand before Jesus Christ.

I read from Matthew 7:22. Jesus
said:21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is
in heaven will enter. 22"Many will say to Me on that day,
'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast
out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And
then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU
WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

They were GREAT PREACHERS, they were
regarded as men and women of God and Jesus says to them:"Go away
I never knew you." Why is that? They were using God's gifts and
the gospel of Jesus Christ to enrich themselves, they were performing
DEAD WORKS. They were not leading souls to Christ, they were
performing DEAD WORKS that lead to DEATH.

If we are not LED by the Holy Spirit.
if we do not STAY WITH Jesus Christ and live closely to Him in
RIGHTEOUSNESS, Holiness and in OBEDIENCE and if we do not do the
works that He GUIDES us into, that He TELLS us to do we cannot serve
the kingdom of God and we will perish, WE will BURN together with our
DEAD WORKS.

Are we being led by the Holy Spirit,
doing the WILL of GOD or are we performing DEAD WORKS because the
works that we do are of our own flesh, of our own initiative, MY
IDEA, MY PLAN that I am doing for God? If we do not SUBMIT ourselves
to Jesus Christ and follow Him as DISCIPLES to do what He guides and
commands us to do then we are performing DEAD WORKS that will PERISH
and we ourselves will also perish.

We have to FOLLOW Jesus Christ, STEP BY
STEP and DO the WORKS that He has prepared for us to do.
