HOLY SPIRIT FIRE

John the baptist came, preaching the

kingdom of God. He said:“As for me, I baptize you with water for
repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I
am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy
Spirit and fire. 12“His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will
thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat
into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
Matthew 3:11,12.
Those who have believed the gospel, repented and
been baptized in water are promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit,
Christ dwelling in them, revealing Himself in and through them.
However, there is another baptism that the born again children of God
will experience, and that is the baptism by FIRE, the Holy Spirit
Fire.
The Holy Spirit Fire will burn inside the child of God, to
purify him of all unrighteousness. It is the chastisement and
correction of the Holy Spirit, making and molding him into the
perfect instrument for the Master's use. Like clay in the hands of
the potter, so are we in the hand of the Lord. If we are moldable, He
will form and make us into a utensil, suitable for His use. If we are
stubborn and unyielding, He will discard of us. The process of
forming and molding will be painful and uncomfortable, because our
form will be changed from a useless lump of clay to a useful utensil,
from a self serving person to a disciple, dedicated to do the will of
God.. We read in Romans 9:20,21 "O man, who answers back to God?
The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me
like this,” will it? 21Or does not the potter have a right over the
clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and
another for common use?"
Every branch that produces fruit
will be pruned, so that it can bear more fruit. The dead wood will be
cut out. The wayward branches will be trimmed to shape the tree so
that it can bear more fruit. This is a work that none of us can do on
ourselves. It is a work that the Holy Spirit does, through FIRE. If
we rebel, moan and complain, stop bearing fruit, we will get cut off
and burned.
The purpose of the baptism of FIRE is to change
us, to make and mold us into suitable instruments in the Master's
hand. The FIRE of the Holy Spirit works perfection in those who
endure with Jesus and yield to Him.
You will go through the FIRE,
if you have accepted Jesus. He does not forsake the works of His
hands, but we must not shrink back when He works on us We read in
Hebrews 10:39 " But we are not of those who shrink back and are
destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their
souls."
Will we shrink back, when the fire comes, or will we
persevere until the end with Jesus?

Through the FIRE

If you follow Jesus Christ
He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with Fire. Jesus calls us
and not just to believe in Him but to obey Him. If we obey the gospel
of Jesus Christ and do what He commanded, which means to repent, turn
away from sin, turn away from following after our own desires, our
own plans, and go after Him, be baptized in water, then He will
baptize us with the Holy Spirit; and if we keep on following Him He
will baptize us with fire.

If you follow Jesus
Christ, you obey His words, then you will immediately experience
fire. If you turn away from sin and from your worldly friends to
follow Jesus, you will experience persecution, rejection. If you do
what Jesus requires of you, you will suddenly find yourself alone.
Those who once loved you will hate you. If you go after Jesus and you
abandon your own ways, you will have to trust in Him. You will have
to pray ask Him for His guidance, and you will find yourself in the
wilderness; because you will not know what to do. But if you trust
Him, He will guide you, He will teach you. You will go through the
fire of anxiety, depression, rejection, and you will have to decide
whether you will abandon Jesus and go back to your own ways, or
whether you will endure through your tribulation.

You will go through
suffering because your faith will be tested. You might not just lose
your friends, you might lose your job and much more. Your family
might reject you. Will you choose your family? Will you deny Jesus
and go back to your church friends that no longer accept you, because
you've become a disciple of Jesus, and you're not just playing
church, being part of the club, but suddenly you've become serious.
Will you choose to go to church and associate with sinful Christians
that have a no desire to follow Jesus or will you stay with Jesus.

When Jesus speaks to you,
when the Holy Spirit convicts you of sins in your life, things that
separate you from Him, sinful attitudes, worldly things, your idols,
will you get rid of those idols? Will you repent of those sins when
the fire starts burning you? Will you give up? Will you turn back or
will you follow Jesus Christ through that fire.

Jesus will use the fire of
persecution, rejection, suffering, to purify you, to test your faith,
because our faith has to be tested and only those who endure with
Jesus and stay with Him until the very end; only they are worthy of
Him and only they will enter His kingdom. Will you endure the fire
and go with Jesus or will you give up and go back to your sin, go
back to your worldly friends? Will you give up? Jesus said, the one
who endures until the end will be saved. Those who give up are not
worthy of Him. He said that the one who puts his hand to the plow and
looks back is not worthy of Him. Many believers never started
following Jesus. Some started and when the fire started burning them
they withdrew. They gave up. To them it is all in vain.

We have to endure with
Jesus until the very end. It will be a lonely road. It will be a
harsh road, but Jesus will be with us if we stay with Him. We can
only win the prize of eternal life if we endure and stay with Jesus
until the very end. Will we endure the fire baptism of Jesus Christ?
Will we prove our faith through our endurance, our obedience to Him,
when we go through the fire?

Dead Works that most Christians perform

Many Christian believers put their hope
for salvation in the WORKS that they do, for the CHURCH and as they
call it, for the “Kingdom of God.” Many give vast sums of money
to the church and they support the CHURCH, they support EVANGELISM,
they support PREACHERS. Many are preachers themselves that are
building vast MINISTRIES but they are busy with DEAD WORKS because
they are not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are not IN CHRIST, they are
not living in holiness and righteousness in obedience to Jesus
Christ.

We can only bear FRUIT and do GOOD
WORKS if we are IN CHRIST and we are LED BY the Holy Spirit. We read
the words of Jesus in John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father
is the vine dresser. 2“Every branch in Me that does not bear
fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He
prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3“You are already
clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4“Abide
in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless
it ABIDES IN THE VINE, so neither can you UNLESS YOU ABIDE
IN ME. 5“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in
Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO
NOTHING. 6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away
as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into
the fire and they are burned.”

Many people do marvelous works FOR GOD
but they are not IN CHRIST, they are not being LED by the Holy
Spirit. That which is of the flesh is flesh as Jesus also said and I
read from John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

If our inspiration and our GUIDANCE
does not come from the Holy Spirit, if we are not led by the Holy
Spirit then we are performing DEAD WORKS that are not pleasing to
God, they are worthless to the kingdom of God.

We read the words of Paul in Romans
8:13,14 “for if you are living according to the flesh, you must
die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the
body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God,
these are sons of God.” Many preachers, many churches, many people
have great initiatives but they are of the flesh, they are of their
OWN MIND, they are not LED by the Spirit of God. They build GREAT
CHURCHES and they have GREAT MINISTRIES but they are not part of the
kingdom of God because they do not have the Holy Spirit and they are
not LED by the Holy Spirit, they are performing DEAD WORKS.

All our works are tested by the FIRE OF
GOD. If our works are unfruitful DEAD WORKS then we will get CUT OFF
and BURNED as Jesus said. Every branch in Him that does not bear
fruit

Many people put their hope in the words
of Paul as written in 1 Corinthians 3:14 “If any man's work which
he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any
man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be
saved, yet so as through fire.” That is not what Jesus said, that
is what Paul said. Jesus said that if we do not bear GOOD FRUIT we
will get CUT OFF and BURNED.

Many believers have received Gifts of
the Holy Spirit and they think that the gifts that they received from
God are a GUARANTEE OF SALVATION. It is NOT. God never takes back His
gifts. There are many people who speak in tongues and they live in
sin. There are many who perform miracles in the Name of Jesus, they
preach and they have great ministries but they are living in
unrighteousness and in wickedness. They are building their own
empires and they are committing DEAD WORKS because they are not
following Jesus Christ. They are using the gifts of Christ to benefit
and enrich themselves and that is why many big preachers will be
terribly disappointed when they stand before Jesus Christ.

I read from Matthew 7:22. Jesus
said:21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is
in heaven will enter. 22"Many will say to Me on that day,
'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast
out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And
then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU
WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

They were GREAT PREACHERS, they were
regarded as men and women of God and Jesus says to them:"Go away
I never knew you." Why is that? They were using God's gifts and
the gospel of Jesus Christ to enrich themselves, they were performing
DEAD WORKS. They were not leading souls to Christ, they were
performing DEAD WORKS that lead to DEATH.

If we are not LED by the Holy Spirit.
if we do not STAY WITH Jesus Christ and live closely to Him in
RIGHTEOUSNESS, Holiness and in OBEDIENCE and if we do not do the
works that He GUIDES us into, that He TELLS us to do we cannot serve
the kingdom of God and we will perish, WE will BURN together with our
DEAD WORKS.

Are we being led by the Holy Spirit,
doing the WILL of GOD or are we performing DEAD WORKS because the
works that we do are of our own flesh, of our own initiative, MY
IDEA, MY PLAN that I am doing for God? If we do not SUBMIT ourselves
to Jesus Christ and follow Him as DISCIPLES to do what He guides and
commands us to do then we are performing DEAD WORKS that will PERISH
and we ourselves will also perish.

We have to FOLLOW Jesus Christ, STEP BY
STEP and DO the WORKS that He has prepared for us to do.

Holy FIRE

Jesus Christ is the God of FIRE, no sin, no wickedness, no impurity will stand before Him. He will cleanse this world and every person who follows Him, with unquenchable fire. John the Baptist said that:”I baptize you with water but He who comes after me is greater than me, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with FIRE.

If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master and you are baptized in water, and you seek to OBEY Him, then He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with FIRE, unquenchable FIRE. He will put the FIRE into you and it will BURN OUT all the dross in you. If you sin the FIRE will BURN you. He will burn you until you repent. If you refuse to accept the FIRE and you refuse to get cleaned up then God's consuming fire (hell) will consume you in the end because NO SIN will stand before Jesus. The Holy Spirit Fire in us will clean us up so that when we stand before Jesus Christ on judgment day we will be cleansed, pure and holy, but if we refuse the fire we will be CONSUMED, we will PERISH.

Have you ACCEPTED Jesus Christ? Are you SERIOUS? Have you received the Holy Spirit with FIRE? Are you being cleansed of all unrighteousness by that FIRE that is BURNING INSIDE of you? If you do not accept the FIRE then you will burn in the fire at the end of time. If you have not yet TRULY accepted Jesus Christ and received the FIRE to cleanse you, to purge you, to make you pure and holy then ASK HIM for the FIRE so that He can clean you up and you can be suitable for His pure and holy Heavenly Kingdom. Have you received the FIRE?

You need the FIRE

John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming of Jesus Christ. He preached REPENTANCE and he baptized those who repented in water for the washing off of their sins. He also said that:”After me comes One that is greater than me, He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and with FIRE.”

Jesus Christ promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit to those who HAVE REPENTED and HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED IN WATER. He Himself will baptize them in the Holy Spirit and with FIRE. The FIRE of the Holy Spirit will CLEAN YOU OUT, will burn out all the dross in you, He will purify and cleanse you. You will be PURE and HOLY, you will SIN NO MORE and you will be ON FIRE for the Kingdom of God.

If you are not ON FIRE for Jesus and for the Kingdom of God then you are DEAD IN YOUR SINS. Have you received the baptism in the Holy Spirit with FIRE? Has Jesus burned all the dross, the sin, the love for the world OUT OF YOU? Has He cleansed you and purified you? Have you been through the FIRE and are you ON FIRE for the Kingdom of God?

God is a CONSUMING FIRE and if you live in sin He will CONSUME YOU, you will PERISH IN HELL! You have to go through the FIRE to be cleansed and purified and you have to stay WITH THE FIRE to stay clean or else you will be CONSUMED by the FIRE in the end.

Have you been through the FIRE? Are you ON FIRE for Jesus or are you about to be consumed by the FIRES OF HELL? REPENT, be BAPTIZED IN WATER for the washing off of your sins and then ask Jesus for the FIRE so that He can cleanse and purify you so that you will not PERISH IN THE FIRES OF HELL.
