CONFESSION IS NOT ENOUGH YOU MUST REPENT

Many believers keep on confessing the

same sins over and over. They go back to the same sins with the
intention of confessing later.  They never repented.
God
forgives those who repent and turn from their sin, but those who
continue in their sin will perish. The wages of sin is death.
We
read in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 "Or do you not know that the
unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived;
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate,
nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor
revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11Such were
some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you
were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit
of our God."
Jesus said that every tree that does not bear
good fruit will get cut off and burned. As long as you keep on
sinning, you are in danger of hell fire. Repent  and stop
sinning or you will perish. Without holiness no one will see the
Lord.

Just BELIEVING In Jesus Is Not Enough

Many Christians think that they will have salvation if they believe in Jesus and confess their faith. They quote selected verses from the Bible like John 3:16 “For God so

loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” and John
11:25,26: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in
Me will live, even though he dies. 26And everyone who lives and
believes in Me will never die.“ However, those were not the only
words that Jesus spoke.

He also said to His disciples: “All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching
them to observe ALL that I have commanded you.”Matthew 28:18-20.
He commanded His disciples to make disciples who OBEY ALL His
commandments, not just some of them. He said:”teaching them to
observe ALL that I have commanded you.”

Jesus did not just command His
disciples to tell them to believe or to teach others just to believe
in Him. He said:“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to
the whole creation. 16WHOEVER BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15,16.

The words of Jesus, are the words of
eternal life, His commandments, His teachings, as also recorded in
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The only way to have the HOPE of
eternal life is to OBEY Jesus. Believe, repent, be baptized in water
and OBSERVE/OBEY ALL that He commanded, or else you will not have
eternal life.

Play your OWN PART

I have made many videos pointing people to Jesus, sharing my testimony, sharing those things that Jesus has given me. I have many postings on the internet and there are many people watching the videos, many people reading, many people commenting. There are many people writing me letters, criticizing, they are telling me what to do, what not to do. There are many attacking me, persecuting me.

We will all stand before Jesus and we will all individually give account for what we have done in the flesh, for what we have done for the Kingdom of God. It is not the hearers, not the listeners, not the commenters, not the talkers but it is those who DO the will of God that will receive His approval. Each of us must make sure that we are doing what Jesus requires of us.

I will stand before Jesus and give account and so will you. Will Jesus be pleased with what I have done? Have I done enough? Have YOU done enough? Is He satisfied with us? Are we good workers for His kingdom? Are we bearing good fruit? Is He pleased with out fruit? That is the question that we need to answer for ourselves.

We need to ask Jesus every day:”Lord, am I doing enough? Lord, am I doing what I have been called to do? Am I serving the purpose of the Kingdom of God in such a way that I can enter in and become an heir of that Kingdom? Is Jesus pleased with YOU and with ME?

Perfectly Kept

Those who SEEK, FOLLOW, TRUST and OBEY Jesus Christ have need of nothing, He supplies in ALL their needs and He guides them in ALL things. He gives them perfect understanding. But those who go after their own plans and desires and REJECT Jesus Christ are continuously frustrated and disappointed because their plans don't work out. They are anxious and distressed, disappointed, and in the end they lose everything that they thought that they had.

Without Jesus you can do NOTHING. Without Jesus you are LOST! Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL the other things will be added unto you. Seek Jesus and FOLLOW Him and He will guide you in ALL THINGS, He will provide for you in ALL your needs. King David said (Psalm 23) “The LORD is my Shepherd, I SHALL NOT WANT.” Who is YOUR shepherd? Who do you FOLLOW? Who guides you? Who do you trust in? Who do you OBEY?

Is God your Shepherd, is Jesus Christ your LORD? If God is your shepherd and Jesus is your Lord and Master, then you will COME SHORT OF NOTHING. Who are you following?
