The Bad News and The Good News

Somebody who commented on one of my videos asked me two questions. He asked me what the Good News is and secondly whether I still sin. In order to answer him what the Good News is I first had to give him the Bad News.

The Bad News is that the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH and if you keep on sinning you will perish, even though you believe in Jesus Christ, because no sinners will enter into the kingdom of heaven. You have to stop sinning to enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Good News is that Jesus Christ came to take away the sins of the world and that He makes us FREE from the bondage to sin. He makes us FREE FROM SIN so that we can DO the will of God.

Whether I still sin? No. Jesus Christ made me FREE FROM SIN. I am BORN AGAIN. I am a child of God. I follow Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ holds my hand and He keeps my foot from slipping. He keeps me from stumbling, but I STAY WITH HIM, because without Jesus I will not make it.

Jesus Christ is the only way. If we do not go with Him every day, every step of the way, we will not make it into the kingdom of Heaven. You cannot follow Jesus Christ AND still go on sinning.

Have you put your hand in the hand of Jesus Christ and are you following Him? Have you ceased from sinning and are you now doing the will of God?

Christians just want GOOD NEWS

Most Christians just want to hear GOOD
NEWS but the gospel of Jesus Christ is bad news for those who love
sin. If you sin you will burn. To follow Jesus Christ means death to
SELF and death to the desires of the flesh. It means that you have to
live your life to please Jesus.

Christians want a NICE CHURCH. They
want to hear that they are SAVED because they BELIEVE.

You are only BEING SAVED if you obey
the gospel of Jesus Christ, if you turn away from sin and the desires
of the flesh and the things of the world and you go after Jesus
Christ, you stop sinning, you live your life to please Him, you obey
HIM, you are baptized in water. You live in holiness and
righteousness and you follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That is
not good news for those who love sin, who love the things of the
world, who love their TV and who love the desires of the flesh
because if you follow Jesus Christ this world will hate you. You will
not participate in the things of the world, you will not love the
things of the world. This is BAD NEWS for most Christians because
they want a a NICE CHURCH and a NICE PREACHER and they want to hear
NICE THINGS, or else they leave the church.

Dear friend, leave your nice church and
go after Jesus Christ or you will perish. The gospel of Jesus Christ
is GRUESOME. If you love Him this world will HATE you , will
persecute you . Seek Jesus and seek to please Him and you will have
LIFE. If you go after good news you are going after LIES and you will
perish with those lies.

The GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ

Have you heard the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ? This morning I wrote you this message:

The wages of sin is DEATH. The soul that sins will DIE. All people carry a death sentence, eternal damnation but Jesus Christ came to TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD, to SET THE CAPTIVES FREE FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN. He does not only BLOT OUT and FORGIVE the sins of those who ACCEPT Him, but He DELIVERS them from the BONDAGE OF SIN so that they can SIN NO MORE.

Jesus said that:”He who sins is a slave to sin,” but if the Son of God has set you free, you will be FREE and FREE INDEED. (John 8:34) You will no longer be a slave to sin. The apostle Paul goes on to say: ”Now you are FREE FROM YOUR SLAVERY TO SIN, and you have become slaves to righteousness.” (Romans 6:18)

Jesus makes you NEW INSIDE, He gives you a NEW HEART and once you experience Jesus you LOOSE YOUR DESIRE FOR SIN.

Sadly most professing Christians have not met nor accepted Jesus, they are still SINNERS, sons of the devil. Many did accept Jesus but then went back to there former lifestyle of sin and once again got ENTANGLED IN THE SNARES OF SIN. Like the washed sow they have gone back to the mud and the filth. Many are in a WORSE SITUATION than they were before they first met Jesus. Most of them are in churches and they believe they are saved but they are not. They are DOOMED and DESTINED FOR HELL if they do not TURN and OBEY JESUS.

If you follow Jesus Christ you are PURE AND HOLY, a SAINT, you OBEY Jesus. You follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and DO HIS WILL. You are not of the world, you are of the Kingdom of God. You are DIFFERENT, LIKE Jesus and you DO His WORKS, that He commands you to do. You live for Him and SIN NO MORE.

Have you met Jesus? Has He set you FREE from the bondage of sin and removed the death penalty of sin from you? Have you obeyed Jesus and been baptized in water for the washing off of your sin? Have you received the Holy Spirit that He promised to those who love Him? Do you FOLLOW the guidance of the Holy Spirit and DO what is pleasing to Him?

Or have you left Jesus and become a slave to sin again? Are you going down the slippery slope into hell? Call out to Jesus, before it is too late. Plead with Him to save you or you will perish. Then follow and OBEY Him, be HOLY and SIN NO MORE. Stay with Jesus until the very end. That is the best place to be.
