Discipleship TODAY Ep 4 Love EACH OTHER Not The World

Those who are truly born again and who love Jesus Christ have two things in common. The one is that they love one another, because they first love Jesus Christ. If we love Jesus Christ. and we are born of His Spirit, then we love one another. We love the others that also follow and obey Jesus Christ, those who belong to Him because we have that in common, that we love Jesus and we seek to please Him.

Jesus Christ said: John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

People who belong to the same group love one another, they tolerate one another, they support one another because they are of the same group but they EXCLUDE others that are not of that "church" or of that group. If we have the love of Christ we do not exclude others, we love them with the love of Christ. But we do not go along with the things of the world. We do not participate in the pleasures  of the world because we love Jesus Christ, we do NOT love the things of the world, because if we love the things of the world then we do not love Jesus Christ. If we love the things that worldly people do then we are of the world and not of Christ. The apostle John wrote in 1 John 2:15 "Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

18Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us."

If we follow Jesus Christ then the world will reject us, people will reject us. Jesus said that if we follow Him then we will be hated by all men, but His disciples will be known because they have love  for one another even though the world hates them and rejects them.

Many people join up with those who follow Jesus Christ but very soon they find that they cannot fit in, they don't want to follow Jesus and they leave, they GO OUT. If you follow Jesus Christ you will find yourself lonely and alone most of the time because people will not like your company. If you treasure the company and the approval of Jesus Christ then the antichrist will hate you, the antichrist Christians, the fake Christians. There are many who profess to be Christians but they don't follow Jesus Christ and they cannot  tolerate those who who do follow Him because they are not of His sheep. Many of them are very religious, they are church people, they are Bible students, they know their Bibles very well but they do not have the Spirit of Christ and they will reject you. They will "prove" from the scripture that you are not of Christ, exactly as the pharisees also "proved" from their scriptures that Jesus Christ was not the Christ, He was not Messiah. and they crucified Him. Exactly the same the false Christians are anti-Christ, they are pro-Bible and pro-church and pro-religion but they are anti-Christ . As long as you talk about your Bible and your church then they go along with you but as soon as you talk about Jesus Christ, following Him, hearing His voice, being led by the Holy Spirit, then they reject you, they persecute you, they avoid you and they go away from you and you find yourself ALONE again.

If you follow Jesus Christ and you love Him then you will find others who are true brothers and sisters, who have love for one another but you will be HATED and REJECTED by the worldly Christians who go along with the world, who love the world, who compete with the world  and who love the things of the world. Those who truly love Jesus Christ are a special people, a Royal Priesthood who WALK WITH GOD, who are pure and holy, who hate sin and the world and the things of the world . They belong to the kingdom of God and they seek the approval of God, not the approval of men. are you of the kingdom of God? Do you love the true followers of Jesus Christ? Are you persecuted and rejected by the false Christians and do you NOT fit into this world? Are you of the kingdom of God?

Question your conviction

There are many different beliefs and
religions in this world and even among Christians there are thousands
of churches that have different doctrines and their members hold on
to those doctrines, those beliefs. But not all of those can be TRUE.
There is only ONE TRUTH and that TRUTH is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ
ALONE is the WAY and the LIFE and the TRUTH and He will reveal the
TRUTH to those who seek the truth, but people hold on to their
BELIEFS for various reasons. They feel COMFORTABLE with their way of
believing and thinking, their church, and they even defend their
beliefs and that is why many will perish because they believe lies.
They do not BELIEVE nor do they OBEY the TRUTH.

If we want to know the TRUTH we have to
question our convictions, our beliefs, that we grew up in, that which
we feel safe with, our interpretation or understanding of the Bible.
We must question it and we must ask Jesus Christ to reveal the TRUTH
to us or else we will remain deceived. There is only ONE TRUTH and as
long as we hold on to LIES and FALSE CONVICTIONS we will not follow
the truth, we will go after lies. For many years people believed that
the world was flat until they found out that the world is indeed not
flat, but they believed it.

If we want to know the TRUTH and have
LIFE we have to question our convictions, everything that we have
learned. We have to question whom we have learned it from, where we
have heard it. If it doesn't come from Jesus then it is not pure.
Whatever we have learned, whatever we have heard, whatever we
believe, whatever our conviction, we have to submit it to Jesus
Christ and say:”Lord, please show me the TRUTH.” and He will show
us the truth.

It is written in James 1:5 “If any
man needs wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men freely
without reproach.” Jesus Christ IS the TRUTH. Question your
convictions, question what other people say to you because every man
is a liar and God is the truth. People often just do not know the
truth and therefor they do not speak the truth. They believe LIES,
they are under WRONG CONVICTION through IGNORANCE, through what they
have been taught.

Question your convictions and ask Jesus
Christ and He will tell you the truth because Jesus Christ ALONE is
the TRUTH. Jesus Christ is ALIVE and He SPEAKS and He guides everyone
who truly seeks the truth.

You cannot go without Jesus Christ

Most Christian believers do not
experience Jesus Christ as real and alive. To most believers their
Bible is real, the stories of Jesus are real, their church is real,
their fellowship with other like-minded believers is real, their
pastor, their religion is real but Jesus Christ is not real because
they do not know Him. They have never met Him.

Jesus said that:”without Me you can
do nothing.” Without Jesus there is no life, there is no eternal
life. Jesus Christ is ALIVE. God is SPIRIT. We cannot see Him
physically but He is ALIVE. He holds all things together by His
power. He gives us life. He directs our footsteps, He loves us, He
cares for us, He looks after us. We do not see Him but HE IS THERE.
We do not know Him because we haven't met Him, we do not seek Him, we
seek our own ways. We believe in religion, we believe in Bible verses
but we do not know the ONE that the Bible talks about, we do not know
Jesus Christ and that is why most believers will perish, THEY NEVER
KNEW JESUS CHRIST.

Without Jesus we can do nothing. God is
SPIRIT, Jesus Christ is SPIRIT and He promised His SPIRIT in those
who seek Him, who OBEY Him, who LOVE Him. His presence will be with
them to guide them, to strengthen them, to help them because without
Jesus Christ we can do nothing. Without Jesus we are LOST but we have
to SEEK Him. If we seek Him we find Him and He will reveal Himself to
us, we will know Him for real, but if we do not know Him we cannot
follow Him and we do not have eternal life. We need Jesus Christ,
without Jesus we cannot do anything, we cannot enter the kingdom of
Heaven, without Jesus we are LOST.

If we seek Him with all our heart we
will find Him and we will realize that He has been with us all along,
since we were born but we were not even aware of it. Seek Jesus and
you will find Him because without Jesus Christ we can do nothing.
Seek Jesus TODAY and you will find Him.

Playing Bible Word Games is Not a Walk with God

Jesus Christ is not interested in which
version of the Bible you read or which church you belong to or with
which Christian friends you fellowship. Jesus Christ is only
interested in one thing and that is whether you KNOW Him. Jesus
Christ said that He will say to many people in that day that they
die:"Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness."
He was talking about professing Christians, not about people who do
not believe.

So, how do we get to know Jesus Christ?
Jesus said:"The one who loves Me is the the one who keeps My
words, the one who obeys My commands, and Me and My father will come
and live with him and I will disclose Myself to him." If we seek
Jesus, we find Him. If we obey His words as also recorded in the
gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, then we prove that we love
Him, that we are interested in Him. if we repent from our wicked ways
and seek Him with all our heart, OBEY Him, are baptized in water for
the washing off of our sins as He commanded, then He will reveal
Himself to us , He will give His Holy Spirit to teach us and to guide
us and we will truly get to know Him.

Many believers think that true religion
is playing word games with Bible scripture. Jesus said to the
pharisees, the Bible believers of the time:"You search the
scriptures in there to find eternal life but you REFUSE to come to Me
to have LIFE." Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life
and He gives eternal life to those who come to Him, who seek Him. He
reveals Himself to them and they get to KNOW Him. They walk with Him
day by day. His Spirit dwells in them and He guides them. He teaches
them His ways. They know Him for real. They don't play Bible games,
scripture games. They walk with God because they KNOW Him. Do you
know Jesus Christ for real? Or are you also just religious? Do you
belong to a church and study your bible, say your prayers and believe
that you have salvation? If you do not know Jesus Christ for real and
have a TRUE real relationship with Him then He will turn you away. He
will say to you:"Go away I never knew you.' Do you really KNOW
Jesus Christ or are you playing scripture games?

Conformed to Churchianity not to Jesus Christ

Many people claim to be Christians and
they belong to different churches, different denominations.
Christians that belong to different denominations are LIKE the others
of that denomination. They have become Catholics and Baptists and
Presbyterians and Pentecostals but they have not become disciples of
Jesus Christ and thus they do not belong to Him.

If we belong top Jesus Christ and we
truly follow Him then we will become like Him, not like another group
of people, not like another church. We will take on the nature of
Christ, not the nature of a denomination. Have you become like Jesus
Christ since you believed? Are you a “church man” or a “God
man”? Do you belong to a church to Jesus Christ? His sheep listen
to His voice and they follow Him and they become LIKE HIM.

Are you truly following Jesus Christ
and have you become LIKE HIM?

Do not look at others Focus on Jesus Christ

Very few people will be saved and make
it into the kingdom of heaven. On occasion somebody asked Jesus
Christ whether those who are being saved are few.

I read from Luke 13:23 " An
someone said to Him:"Lord are there just a few that are being
saved?" And He said to them,:"Strive to enter the narrow
door for many i tell you will seek to enter and will not be able.
Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door and you begin
to stand outside and knock on the door and say:"Lord open up to
us then He will answer and say to you:"I do not know you where
you are from." Then you will begin to say.:"We ate and
drank in your presence and you taught in our streets and He will
say:"I tell you, I do not know you where you are from. Depart
from Me you evildoers." There will be weeping and gnashing of
teeth."

Many people think that because they
belong to a Christian group or a church and they all believe that
they are saved, that they themselves are SAFE with this group. But
only very few people will be saved. Jesus warned that when the Son of
Man comes two will be on one bed, one will be taken, one will be
left. Two will be working in the field, the one will be taken, the
other will be left. Not very many people follow and obey Jesus
Christ. It is only those who follow Him closely and who endure with
Him until the very end, that will make it,. Jesus said that many will
try hard and not be able . We need to look at ourselves, not at other
people We need to work out our own salvation, our own relationship
with Jesus Christ and make sure that He is pleased with us. We cannot
look to others and think that because we belong to the same group we
are all going to heaven, Only very few will make it into the kingdom
of God.

Very few people followed Jesus Christ.
He had 12 disciples. One betrayed Him and in the end all of them fled
and left Him when He was crucified. Very few people go with Jesus
until the end. Most of them leave Him, they flee. We have to mind our
own relationship with Jesus Christ and stray with Him until the very
end because without Jesus we can do nothing and very few will make
it. Very few will enter the kingdom of heaven.

The GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ

Have you heard the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ? This morning I wrote you this message:

The wages of sin is DEATH. The soul that sins will DIE. All people carry a death sentence, eternal damnation but Jesus Christ came to TAKE AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD, to SET THE CAPTIVES FREE FROM THE BONDAGE OF SIN. He does not only BLOT OUT and FORGIVE the sins of those who ACCEPT Him, but He DELIVERS them from the BONDAGE OF SIN so that they can SIN NO MORE.

Jesus said that:”He who sins is a slave to sin,” but if the Son of God has set you free, you will be FREE and FREE INDEED. (John 8:34) You will no longer be a slave to sin. The apostle Paul goes on to say: ”Now you are FREE FROM YOUR SLAVERY TO SIN, and you have become slaves to righteousness.” (Romans 6:18)

Jesus makes you NEW INSIDE, He gives you a NEW HEART and once you experience Jesus you LOOSE YOUR DESIRE FOR SIN.

Sadly most professing Christians have not met nor accepted Jesus, they are still SINNERS, sons of the devil. Many did accept Jesus but then went back to there former lifestyle of sin and once again got ENTANGLED IN THE SNARES OF SIN. Like the washed sow they have gone back to the mud and the filth. Many are in a WORSE SITUATION than they were before they first met Jesus. Most of them are in churches and they believe they are saved but they are not. They are DOOMED and DESTINED FOR HELL if they do not TURN and OBEY JESUS.

If you follow Jesus Christ you are PURE AND HOLY, a SAINT, you OBEY Jesus. You follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and DO HIS WILL. You are not of the world, you are of the Kingdom of God. You are DIFFERENT, LIKE Jesus and you DO His WORKS, that He commands you to do. You live for Him and SIN NO MORE.

Have you met Jesus? Has He set you FREE from the bondage of sin and removed the death penalty of sin from you? Have you obeyed Jesus and been baptized in water for the washing off of your sin? Have you received the Holy Spirit that He promised to those who love Him? Do you FOLLOW the guidance of the Holy Spirit and DO what is pleasing to Him?

Or have you left Jesus and become a slave to sin again? Are you going down the slippery slope into hell? Call out to Jesus, before it is too late. Plead with Him to save you or you will perish. Then follow and OBEY Him, be HOLY and SIN NO MORE. Stay with Jesus until the very end. That is the best place to be.

Son of Perdition Revealed

The Day of the Lord is at hand, that Day of Judgment on the wickedness of mankind. Paul wrote about that day of the Lord in 2 Thessalonian 2:3-12 but he warned that the son of perdition first has to be revealed
Now dear friends, the son of perdition IS REVEALED and I want you to go with me to 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Paul writes, he says: “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.”

Now I am talking about that SON OF DESTRUCTION. Now as the Body of Christ has many members so the son of destruction also has many members dear friend.

In verse 4 he says: “who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And now you know what restrains him now, so that in his TIME he may be REVEALED.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. 8 and then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all powers and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH so as to be saved. :11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false :12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

Dear friends the son of perdition is sitting on the pulpit of your church, of your local church
The son of perdition has made his place, he is sitting in the PLACE OF GOD and he has made himself to be greater than God because he is worshiped and NOT JESUS CHRIST the KING of kings and the LORD of lords.

Now you will ask me about verse 6 he says: “And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he may be revealed.”
Now dear friends what RESTRAINED the son of perdition to be REVEALED were those SAINTS who were part of the church who were still in the church but they have LEFT the church because they have found NO place in that church. Those who truly want to OBEY JESUS CHRIST and LIVE IN HOLINESS have been pushed out. That is the SALT the salt was the PRESERVATIVE in this ABOMINABLE APOSTASY CHURCH that you see today.

They are all gone the churches are ALL SINNERS the preachers preach and say WE ARE ALL SINNERS. They are ALL SINNERS and they are REVEALED NOW as the SONS OF PERDITION.
Because if you SIN my friend you are a son of HELL. No man who follows Jesus Christ walks in sin, a man who follows Christ, walks in HOLINESS and these people have been EXPOSED NOW, they are the SONS OF PERDITION.
And the reason why God will JUDGE them is exactly as he says here in verse 11
:11 He says for this reason God will send upon them a DELUDING INFLUENCE that they might believe what is false :12 In order that they ALL may be JUDGED who DID NOT BELIEVE THE TRUTH, but TOOK PLEASURE IN WICKEDNESS.

Dear friends these APOSTATE CHURCHES preach prosperity and people LOVE it because they want to LIVE IN SIN and they want the things of this world they don't love God. They want to PROSPER in this world at ANY PRICE and GOD has DELIVERED them to that DECEPTION.
God has also given these preachers the POWER of the LIE.
You have these people who are running around and they are preaching and gold dust is falling and there are signs and wonders.

Why is that?
It is because people wanted signs and wonders and God gave them signs and wonders but they DIDN'T WANT THE TRUTH they DIDN'T WANT RIGHTEOUSNESS they DID NOT WANT HOLINESS they DID NOT WANT the LORD JESUS, our KING and our MASTER they REJECTED HIM and they went AFTER the SONS OF PERDITION who are sitting in the pulpits.

Dear friends, the JUDGMENT OF GOD is coming on the SONS OF PERDITION whom God will SLAY with the BREATH OF HIS MOUTH.
The Day of the Lord is upon us and our LORD is REVEALING the SONS OF GOD those who TRULY FOLLOW HIM those who have GONE OUT from these APOSTATE CHURCHES who follow satan. The sons of perdition are those people DESTINED FOR HELL because they DON'T FOLLOW JESUS they use the SCRIPTURE, they use anything they use the Name of Christ but they are FAR AWAY from CHRIST because they are SONS of HELL
Dear friend, it is a time to SEEK GOD with all your HEART and FIND MERCY, it is a TERRIBLE DAY it is a Day of the Judgment of the Lord is coming on this earth because the SALT is REMOVED.
Those who truly seek Jesus have been REMOVED from this APOSTATE ORGANIZATIONS
and they will be REVEALED as the SONS OF GOD with the POWER OF GOD OPERATING THROUGH them because JESUS TRULY LIVES IN THEM.

When you DO stumble

If we follow Jesus Christ we are in a race, a marathon and we have to complete that marathon according to the rules if we want to win the prize of eternal life. The best marathon runners do also stumble even though they take care not to fall but when they stumble they get back up and run, as quickly as possible and they keep on running until the end or else they will not finish the race and they will not win the prize. The same with us as followers of Jesus Christ, we will stumble but what matters is what we do after we stumbled. Do we go sit down? Do we drop out of the race, or do we get back into the race and be very careful not to make the same mistakes again, not to stumble again. All those who follow Jesus Christ will be tested and tried. The devil will try to make you stumble but the important thing is that you GET RIGHT BACK UP and make sure that you do not stumble again.

I stumbled last week. We had a water main burst on the farm where I live and the animals were without water, and one of the workers who was on duty, who was supposed to fix the leak, took his time at it. I got real mad and I blew up, I said things that I should not have said. I felt terrible. I walked away and I repented to the Lord. I went back to this man and I apologized to him for the way that I spoke to him. I stumbled, I said things that I should not have said in the cheat of the moment but I thought about it and I have prayed about it and next time such a situation comes around I will react differently. The devil caught me off guard and I stumbled but, PRAISE JESUS, I got up, I am following HIM, I am a witness for HIM, I shine my light for Him and I am following Him, I am back in the race! I won't give up. Even though I stumble I will get up and I will follow Jesus Christ until the end.

If you do stumble, get right back up, correct your error and BE CAREFUL not to stumble again in the same situation. Think about it very nicely, ask the Lord for wisdom and next time around the devil will not trip you up. We must not quit or give up. If we do stumble we must become stronger after the event so that next time we will know how to handle it better and not stumble again.

Do not give up. Do not quit but keep running, keep going after Jesus for that prize of eternal life.

Teachings of men will take you to hell

If you want eternal life you have to follow Jesus Christ and obey His words, not the words of men. In the Bible there are many words of men but the words that Jesus spoke are also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The words of Jesus Christ are the words of eternal life.

People like to quote Paul and Peter and other scriptures but the only words that can save us are the words of Jesus, not the words of these men. Jesus said:”These people honor Me with their lips but their hearts are far away from Me. It is in vain that you honor Me teaching as precepts the commandments of men.” It s in vain that you quote those things that other people wrote and what they say, what the Bible says and what the preacher says. If it is not what Jesus said then it is all in vain.

We can only be pleasing to Jesus if we LISTEN to Him, if we OBEY Him and do what He commands. Jesus Christ is the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE. If you do not obey Him you will perish. Jesus Christ is LORD, serve Him, honor Him and obey Him or you will perish.

WHO WILL GO?

Jesus Christ is calling us to follow Him. When Jesus walked this earth He just said to people:”Follow Me,” and very few followed Him. Jesus said that many are called but few are chosen and of those chosen ones very few follow Him. Jesus said to His disciples, those who FOLLOWED HIM, He said:”Go into all the world, make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teach them the things that I commanded you.” Jesus called me. He said to me:”Go into all the world, go to whomever I send you and take their hand and put their hand in my hand and I will guide them. Jesus is calling YOU. Will you go? Will you follow Him?

Jesus Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. He is the only WAY to eternal life. WILL YOU GO? Will you follow Him? Will you go wherever He sends you? Will you follow Jesus Christ? Or will you go your own way and perish? Will you go?
