Don't look back

Many Christians keep on looking back, they keep on seeking for direction in the past. They keep on listening to preachers of the past, reading the books and revelations of those who went before, those who followed Jesus Christ before us.

If we follow Jesus Christ  we must look ahead. We must stay focused on Jesus Christ who guides us and we must LISTEN to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ reveals NEW and HIDDEN things to those who FOLLOW Him.

You cannot keep on looking back and and still follow Jesus Christ, you have to look up, look ahead of you. Jesus Christ is going ahead of us. We must LISTEN to Him and FOLLOW Him and He will guide us into all truth. He will show us the way.

Do not go and look for direction in the messages and  the preachings of the past. Get your focus on Jesus Christ. He goes ahead of you. Follow Him and He will show you the way.

Do you KNOW Him? Do you hear His voice? Do you LISTEN to Him and do you follow Him? Or do you look for direction in the writings of the past?

You are NOT forgiven just because you believe

Many people wrongly believe that they have been forgiven all their sins, past, present and future, because they have confessed that they believe in Jesus Christ. They have NOT been FORGIVEN! You are only forgiven and Jesus only blots out your sins of the past IF you truly REPENT and turn away from following after sin, the lust of your flesh, and you FOLLOW and OBEY Jesus Christ. He only forgives you if you take on the NEW LIFE, if you are BORN AGAIN of the Spirit of God and of WATER, if you are baptized in water for the washing off of your sin in OBEDIENCE to Jesus; only then does He forgive you and blot out your sin.

You need to STAY with Jesus and OBEY Him, to have eternal life. If you turn back to your sin and if you do not obey Jesus Christ, if you refuse to follow Him but you go after your own mind and after your own lusts YOU WILL PERISH! You are NOT FORGIVEN! Your sins will be held against you, past, present and future IF you do not REPENT, TURN AWAY from your evil ways and follow Jesus Christ.

If you WANT eternal life you have to DENY YOURSELF, stop doing what YOU want to do, pick up your cross and follow Jesus Christ. You WILL bear a cross, you WILL encounter difficulties, you WILL have to deny your flesh, you WILL suffer persecution, you might get killed, you WILL have to give up friends and the things that you like, the pleasures of sin and of this world, and FOLLOW Jesus Christ IF you want eternal life.

You will only have forgiveness, pardon of your sins, if you STOP SINNING, OBEY Jesus and FOLLOW Him. Do not be deceived, OBEY Jesus and you will live. If you refuse to follow Him and obey Him you will perish.

BEYOND the Bible

Eternal life is KNOWING, OBEYING and FOLLOWING Jesus Christ, being in close relationship with Him. Jesus said:”He who has My teachings (My words) and keeps them (obeys), that is the one who loves Me and Me and My Father will come and dwell with that person and I will reveal Myself to him.” (Read John 14:21-24).
If we have the teachings of Jesus and we OBEY Him; we REPENT of sin, STOP SINNING, SIN NO MORE, live righteously and holy, accept Jesus as MASTER, OBEY His words and we are baptized in water like He commanded, THEN HE WILL REVEAL HIMSELF TO US. He will give His Spirit , His Holy Spirit to LIVE in us and to GUIDE us, Jesus Christ will become REAL to us but MOST BELIEVERS NEVER GET TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST. They read about Him in the Bible and instead of following Him, obeying Him and being led by the Holy Spirit THEY STAY WITH THE SCRIPTURES.
When Jesus came the pharisees who expected him to come, they were waiting for Messiah, they rejected Him and Jesus said to them:”You diligently search the scriptures, in there to find eternal life but you refuse to come to me to have life.” Exactly the same thing is happening today, believers cannot get BEYOND THE SCRIPTURES! They cannot put the Bible down and start following Jesus. Jesus never becomes a reality tot them and He will say to them:”Go away I never knew you,” because they do not obey His words, they do not repent and stop sinning, they refuse to be baptized in water but they keep on going to church and doing Bible study and they think that because they know the Bible and they can quote the scriptures that they have eternal life. BUT they don't know Jesus! They never obeyed Him, they never got to know Him and they do not follow Him. They haven't received the Holy Spirit.
Have YOU gone beyond the scriptures? Have you found Jesus? Is Jesus Christ your reality or are you still into “The Word” into the Bible?
You have to get to know Jesus Christ and He must be your reality. You musty get BEYOND THE SCRIPTURES and KNOW the ONE whom the scriptures are about. You have to KNOW and FOLLOW Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul said:”I KNOW the ONE in whom I believe.” Do you KNOW Jesus Christ and do you follow Him? Have you gone BEYOND THE SCRIPTURES? Is Jesus Christ your reality?
