Overcome the World

Jesus Christ said that unless a person is born again he cannot see nor enter the kingdom of God. The apostle John wrote in 1 John 5:4  that whatever is born of God overcomes the world.

The reason why most believers cannot stop sinning and cannot overcome the flesh is because they are not born again. If we are born again of the Spirit of God, we overcome the world, we overcome the flesh and we do the will of God.

Those who are born again of the Spirit of God and who walk according to the Spirit, who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God, but those who live according to the flesh, they will perish.

The soul that sins will die. Jesus said:"SIN NO MORE.' Those who sin will perish. Those who cannot stop sinning are not born again. They are not born of God.

Do we overcome the world? Are we born of God? Are we children of God?

May Jesus bless you.

Overcome FEAR

The righteous have nothing to fear. Those who have submitted their lives to Jesus Christ and who are living to please Him, have no reason to fear because nothing can touch them that Jesus does not allow to come onto them.

Job was a righteous man and satan could not touch him because God protected him. satan could only do to Job what God allowed him to do to Him.

If we have submitted our lives to Jesus Christ and we are following Him then He guides our footsteps, He determines our life and we have nothing to fear. Many believers are living in constant fear and uncertainty. They worry about many things, they are anxious and they are stressed. It is because they do not TRUST Jesus. If we trust Jesus we will not fear  because perfect love drives out fear.

If we submit our lives to Jesus and we live to please Him then we live in confidence , we live in His peace and we pray for His will to be done in our lives. Nothing can touch us , nothing can happen to us that is not of His making. If you are living in fear and uncertainty and if you are worried about many things , submit it to Jesus. take it to Him in prayer and trust Him to make all things to work together for good because He cares for you. You can only overcome fear by fully trusting in Jesus Christ.

If you are living in sin that separates you from Jesus, REPENT of  it and SUBMIT to Him and then trust Him, obey Him and you will have confidence. You will have no more reason to fear.

Submit to Jesus, trust Him and FEAR NO MORE because He cares for you.

May Jesus bless you.

Do not challenge God

The world has many false images and perceptions of Jesus Christ. Most Christians also worship a false image of Jesus because they do not really know Him. They do not fear Him and they do not respect Him. Many believers foolishly mock and blaspheme the Holy Spirit. It is because they themselves do not know Jesus Christ and they run after other people who themselves do not know Him. If they knew Him, they would fear Him and respect Him. They would obey Him and He would reveal Himself to them so that they would truly know Him.

Those who KNOW Jesus Christ, do not challenge Him, they do not mock Him, they FEAR Him and they respect Him because they KNOW that He means what He says. The words that He spoke as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, those are the words of eternal life for those who obey them. But those who disobey them are already judged, they are already condemned IF they do not REPENT and OBEY Jesus Christ.

You only get to know Jesus if you bow on your knees before Him, you humble yourself before Him in prayer and you seek him until you find Him. If you draw closer to Him, He will draw closer to you. Do not play games with Jesus. Be serious, He is GOD, He is ALMIGHTY. Fear Him, respect Him and obey Him or you will perish.

Jesus Christ will say to most believers:"Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness." They never knew Him, they never feared Him, they never respected Him. They never OBEYED Him. Do not challenge God. Give Him the honor that is due to Him.

May Jesus bless you.

What you DESERVE

In this world that we live in we often hear these words:"You DESERVE a new car, you DESERVE a better life, you DESERVE certain things..." when people have not worked for those things, they have done NOTHING for them. Believers are also told that they deserve heaven, they DESERVE eternal life just because they believe in Jesus Christ. That is not true.

Jesus Christ will reward every man according to what they DESERVE, according to their WORKS, not according to their faith, not according to what they thought or believed. Jesus Christ is the righteous judge and He will reward each of us according to what we have DONE in the flesh.

The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 2:6-11 “God WILL RENDER TO EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10but glory and honor and peace to every man who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11For there is no partiality with God.” There is no discrimination.

We also read in Matthew 16:27 The Lord Jesus said:“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.”

We also read these words in Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. “

Jesus Christ said that every branch in Him that does not bear good fruit will get cut off and burned. Believers think that they do not have to serve Jesus. They don't want to serve Him. They don't want to live righteously. They don't want to obey the truth. They will be rewarded according to their DEEDS, whether good or bad.

The apostle Paul also wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:9,10 "Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

We have to be pleasing to Jesus. If we disobey Him, disobey the truth, He will give to us what we DESERVE, either punishment, eternal punishment in damnation or He will reward us in His heavenly kingdom if we obeyed Him. We will be judged according to our DEEDS, what we have DONE in the flesh.

Is Jesus Christ pleased with us? What REWARD do we expect when we stand before the judgment throne of God?

May Jesus bless you.

Love is ACTION

Love is not just words. Love is ACTION. If we love Jesus Christ  we will OBEY Him. Jesus said:"He who loves Me is the one who keeps My commands and Me and My Father will love him and We will come and make our abode with him and I will reveal Myself to him." That is the promise that Jesus makes to those who demonstrate their love to Him through their obedience to Him .

The disciples of Jesus loved Him and therefor they followed Him, they stayed WITH Him. If we love Jesus we will turn away from sin, we will turn away from our own plans, our own ambitions, we will abandon them and go after Jesus, we will FOLLOW Him. We will demonstrate, we will show by our DEEDS that we love Him.

If we truly love Jesus then we will get into ACTION, we will follow and obey Him until the very end. If we do not love Him then we are not worthy of Him and we will not enter His kingdom.

Do we truly love Jesus?

May Jesus bless you.

Assurance of Salvation

Believers look for assurance of salvation, from the Scriptures and from what other people say, from prophecies and from books, but the only One who can really tell us what out situation is, is Jesus Christ Himself. He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us and to teach us and to tell us what our situation is with Him, whether He is pleased with us.

Only Jesus  can tell us whether He is pleased with us. There is no other assurance, nobody else can tell us. We have to go to Him and ask Him whether He is pleased with us. Seek Him, pray , wait on Him until He speaks to you, then you KNOW whether Jesus Christ is pleased with you or not.

Stay IN HIS PEACE. Keep on seeking Him. Keep on seeking His approval and He will reveal Himself to you. Do not trust other people. Do not look for assurances in the Bible. Look for your assurance and your guidance from Jesus Christ Himself.

May Jesus  bless you.

Living in EXPECTATION

To follow Jesus Christ means to live in expectation of Him, to be focused on Him, to get our guidance and our inspiration from Him, to always always have an expectation to receive from Him when we pray.

Our focus must be on Jesus and not on other things. He is the way, the truth and the life. If we focus on other things, our own mind, our own thoughts, our own opinion, on other people, then we will be in darkness. If we want to live by philosophies, by application of Bible verses, then our focus is off Jesus. What we read in the Bible should put out focus on Jesus Christ. Our hope is in Him. Our expectation is from Him. When we start looking around at other things and other people then we lose focus. The source of our power, our life and our direction is Jesus Christ. Without Jesus we can do nothing. We have to be totally focused on Jesus Christ and our expectation must be from Him. He rewards those who diligently seek Him, who come to Him with expectation and who patiently wait on Him.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. We have to go to Jesus and follow after Him with EXPECTATION. He rewards those who WAIT on Him.

May Jesus bless you.

Submit your WILL to Jesus Christ

There is one thing that prevents us from following Jesus Christ and from doing His will, what He requires of us, and that is OUR OWN WILL.

We cannot follow Jesus Christ and be pleasing to Him unless we submit our WILL to Him. It is not about what I think or what I want to do for Jesus Christ. It is all about what He wants to use me for. But unless I submit myself to Him He cannot use me. If I do not submit to Jesus I will not leave everything and go where He sends me. Many people go out on their own FOR Jesus, but they go WITHOUT Jesus. It is not what WE want to do for Him, it is what HE wants us to do. We have to submit our will and ourselves to Him before we can SERVE HIM and if we do not serve Him then we are useless for the kingdom of God, then we cannot be fruitful.

Every tree that does not bear fruit will get cut off and burned. We must submit our WILL to Jesus Christ before we can do HIS WILL.

Many believers give in to peer pressure. Many are controlled by family, friends, their spouses, they cannot do the will of God. They cannot be pleasing to Jesus. We have to submit to HIM ALONE and let Him guide us. WAIT on Him and let Him direct your footsteps, and when He sends you, you must GO.

We cannot SERVE Jesus Christ and do His will unless we submit to Him. We cannot be part of His kingdom unless we serve HIM as Lord, King and Master.

May Jesus bless you.

Reject Christians

If we are not willing to give up everything and give our utmost, our very best for Jesus Christ, then we should not even bother following Him. If we are not willing to work for the kingdom of God, be a witness for Jesus and be blameless, holy, dedicated to Him, separated unto Him then we are not worthy of Him and we are not acceptable to Him.

The branch in Him that does not bear good fruit will get cut off and burned. If we are lukewarm and not serious about our relationship with Jesus, about serving Him, then He will VOMIT us out. He will reject us. Only the best is good enough for Jesus. If we are not willing to give Him the very best of ourselves then we are not suitable for the kingdom of heaven and He will reject us. There are many REJECT CHRISTIANS. Jesus will REJECT them because they were not serious, they did not really love Him, they did not obey Him, they did not follow Him, they were not worthy of Him and therefor they will be REJECTED.

Are we PERFECT in our dedication to Jesus or are we rejects?

May Jesus bless you.

PERFECTION Required for Salvation

When you preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and His requirements for salvation then people will often ask you whether you are sinless, or whether you are perfect.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not about His followers. It is about His requirements for salvation. If we do not live up to His requirements and if we do not obey Him we will not enter His kingdom.

We preach the gospel of Jesus Christ because we have come to know Him and we know His requirements. We know that only those who obey Him and who endure until the very end  will enter His kingdom.

He said:"Be perfect like your father in heaven is perfect." Those are His words. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. People tell you that there are no righteous men on earth. That is immaterial, that does not matter. What matters is: Do we comply with with the words of Jesus Christ? Does He approve of us? The words of Jesus are recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Those are the words that will judge each and every one of us.

Do we live up to those words? Those who disobey Jesus Christ are already judged. Are we trying to refute Jesus or are we following Him

Only those who comply with His words, His commands, only they are suitable for the kingdom of heaven. Do we comply with the words of Jesus Christ?

May Jesus bless you?
