Practice His Presence

Christian believers often are concerned that God has left them. However God says to His children:"I will never leave you nor forsake you." Why do these believers not experience His presence? Do they not believe that the Lord will not leave them, or have they left Him?

Jesus gives His Holy Spirit to be in and with those who believe and obey Him.We read in John 14:16"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you."

John 16:8"8“And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged."

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ is ever present and He speaks to those who are born again, those who have repented and been baptized in water, and who were filled with the Holy Spirit. He wishes to guide them into all truth but many believers have not received the Holy Spirit, others ignore Him.

We have to PRACTICE HIS PRESENCE, be tuned in to the Holy Spirit; listen and obey when He speaks, warns, convicts, teaches and directs us. If we keep on ignoring Him, disregarding Him and rather choose to follow our own desires of the advice of others, He will be grieved and will not longer speak to us.

We must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, listen, obey and follow His guidance. We must keep ourselves aware of His presence, trust and believe Him and He will guide us into all truth. Then we will experience the presence of Jesus.

Sin separates us from Jesus and destroys our confidence. We cannot pray with confidence if we have sin in our lives. If we do not experience the peace and approval of Jesus, we first need to repent of all sin and remove the idols that we have allowed to come between ourselves and Jesus, then we will be able to experience His presence.

Are we walking in the Light, practicing His presence,  experiencing His peace and approval?

Being a Witness

We can only be a truthful witness of that which we have seen or experienced. We can only be a witness for Jesus if we have met Him, experienced Him, and if we know Him.

The disciples of Jesus were such witnesses. We read in 1 John 1:3 the testimony of John: "What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— 2and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete."

If we follow and obey Jesus we will experience Him all the time and we will be witnesses for Jesus, that He is alive and real. We will live in fellowship with Him and bring others into fellowship with Him, through our testimony and thus we will build the kingdom of God.

Are we witnesses for Jesus. Are we through or testimony bringing others into fellowship with Jesus and building His kingdom?

Intellectual Blockage

Most Bible scholars and theologians have an intellectual blockage that prevents them from truly believing in and following Jesus Christ. They trust in their book knowledge and test everything against their knowledge of the Bible.

To them their Bible is the final authority. They do not understand the kingdom of God. Sadly such people are in most cases preachers and pastors. They explain God from the Scriptures, but they do not know God, nor do they know Jesus Christ.

It was such a man that we read about in John 3:1   " 1Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; 2this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” 3Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”    4Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

      9Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things? 11“Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony. 12“If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?"

Even the same today, most Bible scholars and theologians do not understand to be born again of the Spirit of God, and thereafter, as born again children of God, to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Do you know any preacher that is led by the Holy Spirit? Do you know any preacher that teaches you to be led by the Holy Spirit? They can teach you the Bible according to their understanding and indoctrination, but they do not know to teach you discipleship, to follow Jesus and to be led by the Holy Spirit. Why is that? They have a mental block, that prevents them from following Jesus in faith. They want to understand everything and explain it from the Bible, but they do not gain understanding, because they do not trust Jesus and His Holy Spirit, that He gives to guide and teach those who truly believe in Jesus and therefor obey Him without doubt and questions.

The mysteries of the kingdom of God remain hidden to the wise men, those who seek wisdom and understanding of the Scriptures, because they trust in their own understanding. They keep on studying but never come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jesus gives UNDERSTANDING and wisdom to those who follow and obey Him with childlike faith. It is only when you OBEY Jesus and do what He commands, that you receive understading. He discloses Himself to those who love and therefor obey Him.

Be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Obey His commands, as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, repent and be baptized, be holy, go after Jesus and He will come and dwell with you. He will give Is Spirit in you to guide you into all truth, He will teach you all things.

They do not hear Him

Very few believers really want to hear from Jesus. Many are long time believers and theologians, who have spent much time, "in the Word" studying the Bible. They are comfortable in the doctrines and beliefs that they have adopted from their own studies and the teachings of others. Their beliefs are backed by Bible verses.

These people are thoroughly indoctrinated. They believe they are saved and that they cannot lose their salvation. They are blinded to the truth because they trust in their own insight. They profess to be Christians, but they are not Christians; they are believers and followers of doctrines. They do not follow Jesus Christ. They are not led by the Holy Spirit. We read in Romans 8:14, "those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

Many of these people have had an experience with Jesus. Some were born again, but they never got into a real relationship with Jesus. Even though some of them have received the baptist in the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues, they never learned to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord speaks to these people, but they do not accept it when  He speaks to them. They either doubt or do not like what the Lord is saying to them. They say that God speaks to them through the Bible and then they look for scripture that suites them and their situation, according to their liking. Their security lies in their reliance on twisted application of scripture. These believers are unfruitful for the kingdom of God because they do not seek nor follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and when He speaks to them they disregard Him. They regard their trust in the Bible and their application of the Scriptures more than the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, that Jesus gives, to guide those who believe, into all truth.

Jesus said:"My sheep HEAR My voice, and they follow Me." These believers  claim to believe in Jesus, but they do not HEAR Him. They believe they are saved but they are not led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus warned that many believers, who preached and taught in His Name, cast out demons and performed many works, will stand before Him in judgment and He will say to them:"Go away I never knew you, you workers of unrighteousness."

Our salvation depends on our relationship with Jesus. Do we know Jesus? Does Jesus know us? Do we trust and follow Him, or do we trust more in other things; the Bible, preachers, our our insight? Are we children of God who are led by the Holy Spirit and do we hear Him?

Do not get caught

A born again child of God must be careful to keep himself pure, unstained by sin and not allow Himself to be distracted from Jesus. We only have the power to resist the devil and overcome evil, as long as we stay focused on Jesus.

Many believers once accepted Jesus, were born again and set free from sin and addictions but they got caught by the snares of satan. Instead of following Jesus, they are controlled and manipulated by the devil. That is the situation with the vast majority of Christian believers. They are not saints, they have fallen, they are sinners.

Many have been deceived by churches, to believe that it is acceptable for a Christian to sin, and therefor they are not even trying to stop sinning and be pure and holy. Most churches do not preach holiness. They preach lies. They say:"We are all snners."  Those who follow Jesus do not sin. They are saints. Sinners will not enter heaven.

Those who are born again and who follow Jesus, are in the world, but not of the world. They live to different standards, they obey the teachings of Jesus, as also recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are led by the Holy Spirit. They live to please Jesus and therefor they do not try to fit in with the ungodly. They do not follow after celebrities and worldly trends. Those who fit in with the world get ensnared by sin and they do not follow Jesus. They are on the broad road that leads to destruction. "Friendship with the world is enmity with God. He who wishes to be friends with the world, makes Himself an enemy of God."

Most so called Chistian churches are of the world, not of Jesus. Most churches are worldly organizations that deceive believers with false teachings, assuring them of eternal salvation, giving them false security, while they ensnare them, cursing those who do not give at least a tenth of their income to the church, and who dare to leave the church. They use Bible verses to deceive and bewitch believers. They are of satan and they are taking many to hell. The greatest deception is in the churches. Do not be caught by them, greedy wolves, looking for sheep to slaughter.

The only way to have eternal life is to follow and obey Jesus Christ, but you have to stay with Him. If you accept Jesus and are born again, He sets you free from the bondage of sin and addictions. He makes you FREE, but if you turn away from Jesus and go back to sin, you will go into bondage. Many believers are in worse sin and bondage than they were when they first believed in Jesus. God is not mocked. If we choose sin above obeying Jesus, He will hand us over to our evil desires and we will bear the consequences. Many believers who have backslid and been caught in sin, are continuously tormented. They have anxiety and panic attacks. They are in constant fear and conviction of their sin. They are being destroyed by their addictions. They have no peace because they know they are heading for destruction.

Don`t get caught by the devil. He will destroy you. Stay with Jesus. Obey and follow Him. If you have been caught in satan's snares, do not let anything stop you. Run back to Jesus. Seek Him with all your heart and all your power. He will set you free if you repent and earnestly seek Him. Then stay with Him at all cost, and do not stray.  To be with Jesus is the only safe  place to be.

You Have To FOLLOW Jesus Not Just Believe

To be a Christian means to be a FOLLOWER of Jesus, not just a believer. You have to FOLLOW and OBEY Jesus to have the hope of salavation.

Most professing Christians do not follow Jesus. They do not obey His teachings and commands, they do not know His voice, they do not hear Him, therefor they cannot follow Him; they are LOST.

To be a Christian, a born again child of God you must be led by and follow the guidance of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit. We read in Romans 8:9 " if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him." and further in verse 14 " all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."

Most professing Christians do not have the Holy Spirit and they are not children of God, because they do not follow Jesus. They are like the rest of the world, they follow after other people, celebrities, popular opinion, the media, church leaders, friends, famous people, their own mind, common sense, ideologies and teachings of men, false Bible teachings. They follow after their own lust and sinful desires, they disregard the commands of Jesus, His ways and His teachings. They choose to believe lies, rather than to seek the truth and to listen to their conscience that God has given in them.

You need to be born again of water and the Holy Spirit to enter the kingdom of God, and you must FOLLOW the guidance of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ.

Jesus gives His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to dwell in and guide those who OBEY Him. The gospel of Jesus Christ is recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Obey Jesus. Repent, turn away from sin, stop sinning, be baptized in water for the washing off of your sin, sin no more. Live holy, live according to the words of Jesus and He will give His Spirit in you as He promised: “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me."John 14:23,24.  Jesus clearly said that those who do not obey His words, do not love Him. They love their own selfish, sinful, worldly ways and they do not believe in Jesus. Christians who not stop sinning and who do not seek and follow His guidance are on their way to hell, they are lost.

Because of UNBELIEF

All professing Christians confess that they believe in Jesus, but very few do. Their works prove that they do not really believe in Jesus, and that is why they will not have eternal life. They will perish in their sins and deception if they do not repent and prove by their works that they truly believe in Jesus.

Salvation is through faith in Jesus alone. There is no other way to be saved, but faith without works is dead. Our faith in Jesus is proven by our obedience to Him. Jesus gives eternal life to those who follow and obey Him. Those who disobey Him will perish. Jesus said:"Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and do not what I say?"

Jesus commands that we follow Him, that we turn away from sin and from doing our own desires and ambitions, to follow His ways, His commands and His guidance.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. To follow Jesus means to act in faith, to walk in faith, grow in faith and to live by faith. "But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he might shrink back, My soul does not take pleasure in him."Hebrews 10:38.

To follow Jesus is a journey of faith, day by day, obeying and following Him. It starts with repenting from our own ways, abruptly turning, changing direction, turning from sin, evil and self gratification, living righteously, holy. Be baptized in water, in obedience to Jesus. Seeking Him, His guidance and His approval, and Jesus will reveal Himself to you. He will speak to you, teach and guide you.

Many professing believers never take the first steps of obedience, never repent, never stop sinning, never be baptized in water. They never get on in their walk with Jesus because of UNBELIEF. They never really believed.

Do you follow and obey Jesus every day in faith? Do you live by faith, or is your confession of faith just empty words?

Face to face with Jesus

 You come face to face with Jesus when you seek Him on your knees, praying from your heart, humbling yourself before Him. Keep praying until you experience His presence. Keep praying until His peace fills your heart, peace that surpasses all human understanding.

Most Christian believers have not yet come face to face with Jesus, they have not experienced Him yet.

Jesus said:"28Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke on you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. 30For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."Matthew 11:28-30.

Bow down before Jesus, humble yourself before Him, submit to Him, repent of all sin and wrong. Hunger and thirst for Him and He will fill you with His Spirit, He will satisfy your soul.

There is no better place to be than with Jesus. Seek Him today until He reveals Himself to you.

Seeking the Holy Spirit Gifts

Many Christian believers are seeking the Holy Spirit Gifts, some out of  ignorance, others do it for selfish reasons. Many seek salvation, just because they don't want to go to hell. Their motives are not pure and they will receive nothing from God.

Jesus never commanded us to seek His gifts. He promises His gifts freely to those who love and obey Him, those who seek for His kingdom and His righteousness. Jesus will not withhold one single good thing from those who love and follow Him. He even gives before they ask. He knows what we need before we ask and He delights in giving to His children.

Those who believe in Jesus to have eternal life will receive nothing, because they just want salvation. They do not care for Jesus. They do not seek Him, nor to do His will. They just want His benefits for free. They refuse to work for Him and His kingdom. They call it works based salvation, but they forget that faith without works is dead. We do not work for salvation, we work for Jesus and His kingdom because we love and obey Him.

Many church leaders want the gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to attract new members, to build their churches and collect more money from deceived believers. Many believers have been taught that the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is a guarantee of salvation, which it is not. It is promised to ALL those who seek to follow and obey Jesus and be in close communion with Him. It is however, not a guarantee of salvation. Many who have received Holy Spirit gifts will end up in hell because they turned from Jesus. Many of them operate churches and practice religion but they do not follow and obey Jesus. They are running after their own selfish desires, seeking to gratify and glorify themselves.

God does not take back His gifts that He has given. His gifts and His calling are irrevocable, but those who turn from Jesus will perish.

Jesus requires obedience. He requires that we love Him, seek Him, go after Him, endure with Him and do His will, so that we glorify Him. He freely gives His gifts, His Spirit and His guidance, He makes His power flow through those who truly love and follow Him. They do not seek the Gifts. They seek the Giver, Jesus Christ and He satisfies their soul. He gives them LIFE, streams of Living Water flowing through them, that spring up into eternal life.

Seek Jesus, seek His approval and His communion and you will not want, you will not come short of any good thing. Jesus Christ is the Source, He is Lord, worship and obey Him.

Wake up to the TRUTH

Many Christian believers are deceived. They have false security of salvation. Therefor they are self-assured, entitled and arrogant. They believe that they have  a guarantee of salvation and that they cannot lose their salvation.

Most false teachings and doctrines are backed by Bible verses. People trust in Bible verses but they do not obey the words of Jesus, and therefor they will perish if they do not wake up and obey the TRUTH.

If you have come to know Jesus and you believe His teachings, you will know that there is no guarantee of salvation.

The reason why so many believers are deceived and doomed is because they believe lies. They do not believe and obey the  TRUTH. The only words that lead to salvation are the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ, the TRUTH, as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Jesus Christ is the Way the Life and the TRUTH. Obey Jesus. Obey the truth. Repent and stop sinning. Be baptized in water as Jesus commanded. Obey His words, seek Him with all your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. You will know the TRUTH and the truth will set you free.
