LOOK UP

The love of God draws us to Him, to

repentance and holiness and closeness to Him, because the only safe
place, is to be close to Him. Often, when things start going wrong in
our lives, when troubles are more and greater than solutions,
believers start blaming satan. They fail to see the hand of God, that
is arranging obstacles around them, that they cannot climb over,
leading them into problems that they cannot solve.
God is forcing
them to LOOK UP, come to Him, call on Him. Nothing happens in the
life of a child of God without His knowledge and approval. The
prophet Amos wrote:
"6If a trumpet is blown in a city will
not the people tremble?
          
If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?
 
7Surely the Lord GOD does nothing
          
Unless He reveals His secret counsel
          
To His servants the prophets." Amos 3:6,7.

Where do we
run to when it seams as though things are out of control and heading
for disaster? Do we bow before Jesus, humble ourselves before Him and
seek His counsel, or do we run around in panic and despair? Do we
look up and call on Jesus?
God is in control. He knows what He is
doing. We must just trust Him, stay with Him and obey Him and He will
work all things out for good.

Wake up to the TRUTH

Many Christian believers are deceived. They have false security of salvation. Therefor they are self-assured, entitled and arrogant. They believe that they have  a guarantee of salvation and that they cannot lose their salvation.

Most false teachings and doctrines are backed by Bible verses. People trust in Bible verses but they do not obey the words of Jesus, and therefor they will perish if they do not wake up and obey the TRUTH.

If you have come to know Jesus and you believe His teachings, you will know that there is no guarantee of salvation.

The reason why so many believers are deceived and doomed is because they believe lies. They do not believe and obey the  TRUTH. The only words that lead to salvation are the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ, the TRUTH, as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Jesus Christ is the Way the Life and the TRUTH. Obey Jesus. Obey the truth. Repent and stop sinning. Be baptized in water as Jesus commanded. Obey His words, seek Him with all your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. You will know the TRUTH and the truth will set you free.

Grow up in the Lord

Very few Christian believers grow to maturity in their relationship with Jesus. Many just believe in religious doctrines and trust other people, preachers and churches for their salvation. Most are spiritual babes, they stumble, fall and never start following Jesus.  Others become religious pharisees, filled with Bible knowledge, pride and arrogance. They have a form of godliness but they have no real relationship with Jesus and no fruit of holiness and righteousness.

It is only when we take Jesus seriously and obey His teachings, repent, stop sinning, and be baptized, and live as He commanded, that we grow in our relationship with Jesus.

Jesus will say to many professing Christians, who thought they were saved:"Go away I never knew you, you workers of unrighteousness." They will not enter heaven.

Stand up and be a man

God made us man and woman, for a reason. We are different and we have different roles. God's ways are perfect.  If we violate God's order and His plan then we are doomed to failure and destruction.

The man must be the father, leader, provider  and priest of his house. You can only fulfill your God ordained role, if you submit to Jesus and obey Him. You need to get your wisdom from Him in all things.  The father must lead his family in serving God, and he can only do that if he is totally submitted to Jesus.

You are responsible for your house and God holds you accountabe for that which He has entrusted to you, for the wife He has given you, and for the children that He has blessed you with.

If you follow and obey Jesus, He will guide you in all things and He will supply in all your needs.   He will enable you to work and supply for your family and He will guide you in all decisions. He will give you wisdom to deal with all situations, but you need to stay close to Him, because without Jesus, we can do nothing. Without Jesus we will surely fail.

The Lord's guidance is not always easy to follow, but you have to follow Jesus, not your wife, not your own mind or other people, whoever they might be. You have to submit to Jesus, live according to His teachings, seek and follow His guidance and do as He commands  you to do. Submit yourself to Jesus; you will prosper in His ways and you and your house and your children, will be blessed.

All men must know that you and your house fear, serve and honor God.

The father of the house must submit himself to the discipline of the Lord and he must discipline his children. "All discipline, for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness." Hebrews 12:11.

Do not conform to the world, do not give in to preasure to be worldly. Follow after Jesus, not after the world, the media and satan. Do not allow sin to be practiced in your house. Do not let the TV and the media determine your way of living. "The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, But He blesses the dwelling of the righteous." Proverbs 3:33. Your house must be a house of prayer, not of fun, excess, sin, fornication and worldliness.

Do not spoil your children, but teach them to work hard, earn a living and be fruitful. Do not give your children everything they want and do not allow them to follow after their worldly friends. Teach them to fear, obey and respect God, and not to give in to peer pressure. You must set the example.

Pray for your house and teach your children to pray, to fear and serve Jesus. Teach your children to get their guidance and help from Jesus. They will follow your footsteps and if you guide them wrong, God will punish you and your wife. Jesus said:"but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea."Matthew 18:6.

Love your wife and respect her. Teach your children to respect and honor her. Pray with her and together, seek your wisdom and guidance from Jesus. Be faithful to your wife and care for her needs. There will only be harmony in your house, if you both submit to Jesus. Jesus must always be first. Seek His kingdom and His righteousness, His guidance and His approval, and obey Him.

Stand up and be a man.  Repent from going your own way, from being lazy, from being a coward.  Submit yourself to Jesus, serve Him,  and He will keep you standing. Follow Him, and He will guide you in all things. Stay close to Jesus and you will not stumble. He will keep you and sustain you. Be the man that Jesus made you to be.

Stand Up For Jesus

Many people say they are Christians and that they believe in Jesus. They believe Jesus died for them so that they can have life, a good life, but very few are willing to stand up for Jesus and His words. They are ashamed to be associated with Jesus.

When you talk about Jesus, Christians will ask you what church you belong to. when you tell them that you do not belong to a church, but to Jesus, they look at you as though you are crazy. They associate with their church organization but to associate with Jesus to them, is weird.

They run after celebrity preachers, theologians and church leaders and they quote their wo rds and teachings, but they do not quote the words of Jesus.

Most Christians are Bible believers, but they avoid the words of Jesus as they are recorded in the Bible, in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They rather quote some other scriptures. Most of them will tell you that it is impossible to stop sinning. Jesus said that he who sins is a slave to sin. If Jesus has set you free you will be free from the bondage of sin.

When you testify that Jesus speaks to you, He guides and teaches you, modern day Christians want to send you for psychiatric treatment, because you are hearing voices.

Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and they follow Him. They do not hear voices, they know their Master's voice. They do not listen to strangers.

Most Christian cannot talk about Jesus, they cannot witness for Jesus. Many who have met Him are ashamed of Him. They rather talk about thier church, their pastor, or they quote Bible verses and the sayings of famous preachers.

The true followers of Jesus stand up for Him. They are not ashamed of witnessing for Jesus and of standing for His words and for truth and righteousness. Jesus warned that if we deny Him before men, He will deny us before His heavenly Father and the holy angels.

Do we stand up for Jesus? Does the whole world know that we belong to and follow Jesus? What are we living for? If we are not living for Jesus and His kingdom, we are not His, and we will not enter heaven. Stand up for Jesus or He will deny you also.

It Is Time to Grow Up

Most professing Christians
never grow up to maturity, they never become disciples, followers of
Jesus Christ. They are spiritual babies and they remain babies until
they either die or they fail. They fall away because they never grew
into men, mature followers of Jesus Christ. Even those who are born
again very seldom become grown mature children of God. Most of then
stay with the first principles of repentance, deliverance ,and
learning the first principles of the faith. Many of them and never
get past those first principles. Many of them never repent, others
are never baptized in water, and most of them are never baptized in
the Holy Spirit, so very few of them ever come to the point where
they follow the voice of Jesus Christ, and they become mature
disciples of Jesus.

If we do not grow to
maturity in Christ and become followers of Jesus, who are led by the
Holy Spirit, not by every whiff or every wind of teaching and
learning, running after people; if we do not get to the point where
we walk with Jesus in confidence in Him, trusting Him, being faithful
to Him, doing His will, then we will not survive dear friends. It is
time to grow up in our walk with Jesus, not just to be believers who
fool ourselves. Many only know Bible verses, they are religious, and
they repeat the same teachings over and over again, they run after
the teachings of other people they run after the prophecies of other
people, but they themselves have no relationship with Jesus. They are
spiritual babes, and when the trials of life come they fall over they
fall away, they backslide, they fail, they never become men in
Christ. Iit's time to grow up dear friend, or else you will not make
it into the kingdom of heaven.

We have to grow up and
become fully fledged children of God, born again men and women of
God, who follow Jesus Christ every day, listen to His voice, who are
not deterred by every new teaching or every new revelation from
somebody. If you know Jesus Christ you're not deterred by anything.
You listen to Him and you follow Him. Those who are being led by the
Spirit of God they are the sons of God, they are disciples of Jesus
Christ, they are the Warriors of God, who do the will of God.

It's time to grow up, it's
time to get serious with Jesus, and to start walking with Him or else
you will perish on the road. Only those who endure with Jesus until
the very end, only they will win the prize of eternal life; only they
will enter the kingdom of heaven. Are you a spiritual babe or have
you grown to maturity? Are you following the Master? It is time to
grow up.

The Right Leader

If we follow the wrong leadership we will end up where we do not want to be. There is only one right way, and that is God's way. If we need wisdom, we must ask of God; He gives to all men freely. If we seek the truth, we must pray and ask God and He will reveal Jesus Christ to us. Jesus Christ is ALIVE, He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE; He is the only way to eternal life.
If we seek Him with all our heart, He will reveal Himself to us and He will guide us. He will give His Holy Spirit in us to guide us in everything, every step of the way. But very few people are interested in the right way, in God's way. Most people want things their way, for their benefit and for their pleasure. That is the way that leads to destruction.
There is only one way and that is God's way, that is the right way, Jesus Christ. Have you met Jesus Christ? Are you following the right way, or will you end up in destruction?

Keep on PRAYING Never give up

Believers give up praying too soon, too quickly. They pray and then when they do not immediately get an answer, they stop praying and they lose hope.

If we go to Jesus in prayer we must be serious. We must not just go for what we want or what we want to ask for. We must go to Jesus in prayer because we want to be with Him. He is our Lord and our Master, He is our Father, our Keeper, our Shepherd. He cares for us, and we must care for Him; we must care to spend time with Him. If we go to Him in prayer we must go expectantly and we must wait on Him, like a child goes to his parent. The only one who can really help us is Jesus. But if we give up too soon then we might not receive what we asked for.

Many people ask Jesus for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and they don't receive it, then they give up. Jesus rewards those who diligently seek Him, those who are serious. If we are sick or if we are in need, we need to pray, keep on praying, keep on knocking, because Jesus said that if we keep on knocking the door will be opened to us; we need to keep on praying, keep on hoping, keep on believing, keep on trusting Him. He will answer us if we do not give up. And when He does answer us we must give Him the glory; we must thank Him and we must testify. we must tell the world that Jesus Christ is alive.

Do not give up. Jesus said that those who endure until the end will be saved, those who keep on praying and expectingly believe, they will receive.

Keep on praying, do not give up. Jesus will answer your prayer if you are serious.

Lazy believers will end up in HELL

Lazy believers will not make it into the kingdom of heaven. the kingdom of heaven is for disciples, followers of Jesus Christ, men and women of action. The only way to enter the kingdom of heaven and have eternal life is to go after, follow and obey Jesus Christ.

Jesus said:"Whoever wishes to come after Me, must deny himself every day, pick up his cross and come here, follow Me." To follow Jesus Christ is not fun. it is hard work. you have to go after Him in spite of your your circumstances, in spite of your troubles, in spite of persecution and temptation. You have to press on in and endure with Jesus Christ even if everybody rejects you. Jesus said that if we follow Him we will be hated by all men. They will do to us what they did to Him, IF we follow Jesus Christ.

Many people think that they only need to believe in Jesus and then they sit back and they think that Jesus has done it all for them. You have to pick up your cross, you have to go after Jesus Christ every day and follow Him.You have to resist the devil, you have to overcome, sin, temptation and the wiles of the devil. You have to overcome your own laziness and your own lack of dedication. You have to follow Jesus Christ with every bit of power that is in you until the very end. Lazy people, laid back people, fun seeking people will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

It is not fun to follow Jesus Christ. It is blood, sweat and tears but if we endure until the end we will win the prize of eternal life. Then there will be time for rejoicing IF we win that prize.  But if we are not willing to work hard for the kingdom of heaven then we will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

They asked Jesus whether those who are being saved are few and He said:"Strive hard,for many will try very hard and not be able." Are you trying hard? Or do you just believe that you are saved?

Heaven is not for lazy people. It is for those who deny themselves and go after Jesus every day and follow Him, obey Him, do His will, until the very end.

The Manipulative Mind will PERISH in HELL

Psychology has taught the world that you can manipulate other people to get what you want. If you do certain things they will react in another way and if you are clever enough you get what you want. Children manipulate their parents and parents in turn try to manipulate their children by buying them gifts, giving them what they want when they have little tantrums.

People think that God is like their parents. They think they can manipulate God. God cannot be manipulated. God is GOD. Jesus Christ is LORD, you SERVE Him HIS WAY, you come to Him on HIS TERMS, you FORSAKE yourself, you TURN YOUR BACK ON SIN and on your OWN DESIRES and you go after Jesus, you OBEY HIM, you DO what He commanded, you are baptized in water and you SEEK HIM, you seek HIS GUIDANCE and He will give you the Holy Spirit, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS. And the Holy Spirit will guide you every step of the way until the very end IF you SUBMIT TO HIM.

You cannot manipulate Jesus Christ. You cannot do certain things and make Him react in the way that you expect Him to react. Jesus Christ is LORD. You will only enter the kingdom of Heaven and have eternal life IF you OBEY His words. If you disregard Him you will perish. If you DISOBEY Him you will not enter His kingdom. You CANNOT MANIPULATE GOD, you cannot manipulate Jesus Christ, you SUBMIT to Him and you SERVE Him until the very end or else you will end up in HELL.

Submit to Jesus, seek Him with all your heart, obey Him, obey His words and follow Him until the very end or you will PERISH.

GROW UP be a man FIGHT or you will PERISH

Most Christian believers are spiritual babies who don't want to grow up and walk with Jesus. They want to be spoon fed, nursed and carried. They are like spoiled brats who want everything their way. They want to be served and taken care of, they think that God is their nursery mother. They are not ready for solid food. They want other people to feed them. They want to go and sit in a church and have a pastor or a preacher coach them and guide them and teach them. They look to people. They want to go to a church and have some spiritual father feed them, coach them. They are not ready for solid food, they are not ready to hear from Jesus Christ, they want everything their way because they are spiritual babies.

Most believers DIE spiritual babies, they stay dependent on other people. They never grow up to become mature men in Christ Jesus. They never start walking with Jesus, they never take responsibility for their own walk. They always blame other people, they blame God and they do not take what he gives them, they are not thankful, they do not follow Jesus Christ. They are spiritual parasites and in the end they perish. Most believers are heading for disaster because they are spiritually incapable, impotent and inefficient, they are destroyed by satan because they have no spiritual power. They never grew up, they never became men, they could not and would not defend themselves against the whiles of the devil, their whole life was about themselves.

If you want eternal life you will have to grow up and get into the walk. You have to face the battle every day and you have to walk the straight and narrow road, follow Jesus Christ every day. You have to win every battle, you have to conquer satan. YOU have to get up and get MOVING, YOU have to start following Jesus, YOU have to OBEY Him, YOU have to take responsibility for your own destiny, YOU have to DECIDE to follow and obey Jesus Christ, You have to stop sinning and to start FOLLOWING Jesus Christ. You cannot remain a spiritual baby, you have to grow up and become a man in Christ or else you will perish.

Most believers will end up in hell

Most people who confess that they believe in Jesus Christ will end up in hell because they knew the truth but they never obeyed the truth. If we believe in Jesus Christ we must follow and obey Him. Faith without works is dead. If we do not OBEY Jesus then our faith is useless, it will do us no good, we will end up in hell.
Jesus said:”If you love Me, OBEY My words.” If we do not follow and obey Jesus Christ we will end up in hell even though we believe in Him. The world has been deceived by people who tell them that they only need to BELIEVE in Jesus to be saved, they must believe in the FINISHED WORK OF Jesus Christ on the cross. THAT IS A LIE FROM sATAN. We have to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We have to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Jesus Christ every day, we have to repent of sin, obey Jesus Christ, be baptized in water, be born again of the Spirit of God and then we must be LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth IF we follow and OBEY Him, if we don't we did not believe, then our faith is DEAD. Faith without works is DEAD.
If we believe in Jesus and we love Him we will deny ourselves and serve Him, but if we love ourselves we will deny Jesus and serve ourselves and end up in eternal damnation. If you do not follow and obey Jesus Christ you will end up in hell even though you confess to believe in Him.
Do you just believe in Jesus Christ for salvation, or do you FOLLOW and OBEY Him?

He lifted me up

I used to be in the bondage of fear, anxiety, uncertainty. I was in the gutter of despair but Jesus came down and he lifted me up. He set me free from the bondage of sin. I don't care what other people think any more because I am a child of God and I live to please HIM. I am on the King's High Way because I am following Jesus Christ. He made made me a child of God and a witness of his Kingdom. He put a song in my mouth and that is why I can sing to His glory!

Are you down and out? Are you lost? Then bow down to Jesus, seek Him with all your heart and He will lift you up, He will make you a son of the King! Stay with Jesus and He will give you LIFE in abundance.

Be consistent

Many believers are UP and DOWN in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Some days they are serious and they follow Him, other days they deny Him and then other things are more important, their friends, their ambitions, their own things.
If we want to follow Jesus we have to be consistent. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and for ever, and He expects of us to follow Him EVERY DAY. Jesus said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself,  pick up his cross EVERY DAY and come here follow Me.” If we are lukewarm, if we are up and down in our relationship with Him then we are not serious and He will VOMIT us out, He will REJECT us.
We have to MAKE UP OUR MINDS and BE SERIOUS, we have to follow Jesus EVERY DAY and give Him our UTMOST, EVERY DAY.

Sacrifice your WILL

If you want to follow Jesus and have eternal life you have to SACRIFICE YOUR WILL to Jesus Christ, your own desires, your own pleasures, your own ambitions, you have to give it all up and submit yourself to Jesus Christ and DO what He tells you to do. You have to live in obedience to Him.

Jesus said:”Whoever WISHES to come after me must DENY HIMSELF, pick up his cross every day and come here follow Me.” You DENY YOURSELF, you don't go where you want to do, you don't DO what you want to do, you SUBMIT yourself to Jesus. You deny yourself your own pleasures, your own desires, your own ambitions and you go after Jesus Christ, you DO what He tells you to do. You become a servant, a slave, to the Kingdom of God. Jesus said:”Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things will be added unto you.” Do not worry about the things of the world. Do not worry about what you will eat, what you will drink, where and how you will live, go after Jesus Christ and He will guide you. He will tell you which job to do. It might not be the job of your choice, He might put you into a job that will utterly humble you but because you follow Jesus you DO what He tells you to do, because you have accepted Him as your MASTER.

If we are not willing to sacrifice our will, to DENY OURSELVES and to utterly submit to Jesus, He cannot be our LORD, He cannot be our MASTER and if we reject Him, if we disregard Him then He will also disregard us, He will REJECT us! He will say to us:”Go away I never knew you, you worker of wickedness, go away, you would never follow Me, you would not go with Me.” If we are not willing to submit to Jesus right now in this life and follow Him until the very end then we will have no business with Him when we come to the end of this life because then our life will END.

Are we willing to submit to Jesus and LIVE? Do we truly want eternal life? Do we want Jesus Christ?
