The Church Mindset vs Discipleship Mindset

Most believers who grew up in churches will never follow Jesus Christ because they have been brainwashed  to go to church, to be part of a church. They have a church mindset, they do not have a discipleship mindset.

Jesus Christ requires of us that we be disciples. There is only one way to be pleasing to Jesus, there is only one way to have eternal life and that is to follow and obey Jesus Christ, to be led by the Holy Spirit, to seek His guidance and approval every moment of our lives.

People with a church mindset may leave one church but then they will look for another church because to them church is the way. They don't know Jesus Christ. They do not know what it is to follow Jesus Christ, because their mindset is wrong. They try to fit everything into church. It it doesn't fit into their church or into their Bible, into the way that they have been taught the Bible, then they reject it, and that is why they reject Jesus Christ. That is also why most of them will never follow Jesus Christ, they will never know Him because they reject Him. They look at life with the wrong glasses. They have got that church mindset. They need to take off those glasses. Their eyes need to be opened so that they can see Jesus and understand that the kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ, Him being their Lord, following Him, listening to His voice. It is not about being church, or fitting it into church theology or the church structure or framework, or mindset. You have to get out of church. You have to get church out of you and start following Jesus Christ.

Open your eyes and look to Jesus. Seek Jesus. It doesn't matter what other people say. It doesn't matter whether the church rejects you. All that matters is being pleasing to Jesus. You need a discipleship mindset. If you don't know what that is, PRAY and ask Jesus to give you a discipleship mindset.

Go and read His words as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and ask Him to open your mind so that you can understand what it means to be a disciple and then, FOLLOW HIM and become a disciple because that is the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven. That is the only way to have salvation. You need to follow Jesus Christ until the very end. You need a discipleship mindset.
