DESIRE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

The greatest desire of New Testament Christians was to receive the Holy
Spirit. It equipped them for their new life in Jesus, having Jesus in
them, His Spirit comforting, guiding and teaching them.

Through
the Holy Spirit dwelling in them they could pray in the Spirit, in
tongues, mysteries according to the will of God. They could be
edified in their spirit while having the Spirit of God making
supplication to God through them. They could experience the presence
of God, Emmanuel, Christ in them at all times, by praying in the
Spirit.

Not
only could they edify themselves but also other believers, through
the Holy Spirit manifesting through them by gifts of prophecy,
healing, miracles, word of knowledge, tongues with interpretation,
word of wisdom as the Spirit willed.

Those
who do not have the Holy Spirit cannot function in nor be part of the
Body of Christ.

The
modern day secular church does not have the Holy Spirit. It is just a
religious club, an institution, run and controlled by men. Its
members are not part of the kingdom of God, they do not have the Holy
Spirit and do not belong to Jesus. Neither do they follow Him.

The
born again followers of Jesus desire, crave, hunger and thirst for
Jesus, His Holy Spirit. Their only desire is to be led by the Holy
Spirit and be pleasing to Jesus. The more we seek Him, the more He
will dwell in us and manifest through us. Many received the Holy
Spirit some years ago, spoke in tongues and then they stopped.
Streams of living water must continue to flow through us, but we need
to desire, keep praying and stay in communion with Jesus.

We
cannot bear fruit for the kingdom of Gof id we do not stay in Christ,
abiding in the Vine. Without Jesus we can do nothing. His Spirit must
dwell in us and flow through us.

Have
we received the Holy Spirit? Do we worship in Spirit and in truth and

are we led by the Holy Spirit.

No Thirst No Fill No Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to those who believe in Him and who obey Him, streams of living water that will flow from their innermost man. But very few people thirst for these streams of living water. Very few believers have a desire for Jesus Christ. Many want the baptism in the Holy Spirit  and the gift of speaking in tongues as a token, an assurance, a guarantee of salvation, but they do not want Jesus Christ.  and that is why they do not receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit because Jesus knows their intention, He knows their heart. They just want the gift, they don't want the Giver and once they have the gift they think that they have an assurance of salvation and they can go back to the world and go back to their own desires, because they believe that they are saved and  they are going to heaven.

Jesus Christ will FILL us, He will give in us streams of living water if we THIRST and if we SEEK Him. People just want to say a simple prayer and then they want to receive the Holy Spirit. If you do not THIRST and if you do not SEEK and if you do not HUNGER for Jesus Christ  then you will receive nothing.

Jesus said:"blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness because they will be satisfied."  If we do not HUNGER and THIRST  for Jesus Christ, for His fellowship, for Him Himself we will not receive anything.

Do you hunger and do you thirst for Jesus Christ? Have you been satisfied? Has Jesus given you those rivers of Living Water that flow through you and that spring up into eternal life? Do you have the Holy Spirit of Christ in you?

May Jesus bless you.

Desire God's Will

If we truly love Jesus we will desire for His will to be done. We will be seeking His guidance and His approval and nothing else will matter to us apart from being WITH Jesus and being pleasing TO Him. We will pray:”Thy will be done.” We WILL wait on the Lord for His guidance so that He can use us for His purpose. We WILL seek His kingdom and be content with whatever comes our way because we trust in Jesus and we know that He directs our footsteps. We WILL have peace and we will not love the things of the world. We will not be disappointed because we are WITH out King and WITH our Master and we KNOW that He cannot fail.
If we truly love Jesus we will SEEK His kingdom and His righteousness and then all the other things will be added unto us because God is a GOOD God and He KNOWS just what we need, He supplies before we ask. If we desire Jesus Christ then we will never be unfulfilled, we will be content and in His peace.
Is it your desire to do the will of God and to be pleasing to Jesus Christ or are other things more important to you? If Jesus is not our LIFE and our DESIRE then we do not have life.

May Jesus bless you.

Those who SINCERELY SEEK Jesus FIND HIM

Those who truly SEEK Jesus Christ FIND HIM, but many people are like little children, they WANT and WANT and WANT. They are always CRYING because their life is about THEMSELVES. They never look up to Jesus and say:”Thank You Lord for this wonderful day! Thank You Lord for giving me everything that I have! Thank You Lord Jesus for giving me LIFE!” They are just focused on themselves, they are SELFISH and that is why they don't receive! Because they are not thankful for that which they already have. They do not SEE the hand of God in their lives.
Jesus said that:”Those who are PURE IN HEART will SEE God.” They will see God in everything that they get, that they receive so freely, that they enjoy. If we want more of Jesus in our lives WE MUST START THANKING HIM, praising Him for that which He HAS GIVEN US ALREADY! He gives us the BREATH THAT WE BREATHE, the opportunity to KNOW HIM! If you want to be FILLED with the Holy Spirit, purify your heart, get rid of the sin in you, the unthankfulness, the wickedness and you will be pure of heart and you will SEE GOD. If you start praising Jesus and start thanking Him for that which He has given to you already then He will fill you with even MORE.
Get your focus on Jesus. Forget about yourself. Stop being like a spoiled brat, like a child that just always WANTS MORE AND MORE AND MORE. They are never satisfied, they are always crying for MORE. You will get nothing. Start thanking Jesus and live to PLEASE HIM. It is not about what YOU can get out of Jesus, how He must speak to YOU to gratify YOU. It is about you and I living FOR Jesus and being pleasing to HIM. Then He will reveal Himself to us. Jesus has already done it all for us, He paid the price, now it is our turn to GIVE BACK TO HIM.
We need to GIVE UP OUR RIGHT to ourselves, we need to LIVE TO PLEASE HIM and then we will become part of HIS KINGDOM. It is not about you, not about me. Start praising Jesus, seek HIM for the sake of KNOWING HIM, being thankful to HIM and you will find Him. He will reveal Himself to you and you will WALK WITH GOD. If you truly seek Him with all your heart you will find Him, you will SEE HIM in everything around you.

May Jesus bless you.

True believers DESIRE to SERVE Jesus

True followers of Jesus Christ who are really born again, have a desire to serve Him. Jesus Christ is always on their mind. They talk about Him, they testify about Him, they tell others about Jesus. They don't talk about their church or their pastor or some Bible scriptures that amaze them, they TALK ABOUT JESUS because they KNOW Him and they LIVE WITH HIM every day. They have a desire to be pleasing to Jesus, He is always on their mind. They go after Him every day.
The things of the world are not interesting to them, they don't matter. All that matters to them is Jesus, hearing from Him, LISTENING to Him and FOLLOWING Him, DOING what is pleasing to Him, they DESIRE TO SERVE HIM as King and Lord and Master.
Do you have a DESIRE TO FOLLOW Jesus Christ? Are you really BORN AGAIN? Are you a CHILD OF GOD? Do you have a NEW NATURE, a godly nature? Or are you just still a common sinner who pretends to be a Christian? If you really KNOW and love Jesus He will be on your mind all the time and you will always be at your Father's business, doing the will of God.

May Jesus bless you.

No Desire

If we are not driven by a desire to follow and obey Jesus and be pleasing to Him, to serve Him, and to do those things which He requires of us, then our faith is empty and void, it is in vain. If we just go through the motions, do what is good and hope to escape hell by doing the minimum, then we will certainly end up in hell.
Jesus does not want a LAME OFFERING. If we have no desire after Him, Himself, then we do not belong to Him. If we have no desire to pray, to LISTEN to Him, to HEAR from Him, then our relationship with Him is a lie. If our relationship with Jesus is not REAL and BURNING inside of us, if we are not willing to give up everything and go after Jesus, do that which He requires of us then our faith is in vain, then we will not have eternal life. If Jesus Christ is not our LIFE then we have no life!
If we only have a desire to read about Jesus, read the Bible, be with other “Christians,” fellowship, then we are not going after Jesus, we are going after our own desires. If we do not DESIRE Jesus with all our heart, go after Him every day, then we cannot be pleasing to Him.
Those who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the the sons of God. Is Jesus Christ your desire? Or are you going after other things? What is more important in your life, Jesus, or your own desires, other things? Being accepted by this world? Making money? What is your desire?

If we seek Him, we find Him. If we WAIT ON HIM He will reveal Himself to us. Is Jesus Christ your desire? May Jesus bless you.

Selfish Fellowship

People go after fellowship with other people, with other Christians all because of selfish reasons. It is all about THEM. They don't want to be lonely, they want to be affiliated, they want to be accepted. People want Jesus for what they can get out of Him not for the sake of being with Jesus Himself and that is why they look for the company of other people.
If we love Jesus and we want to spend eternity with Him we will already do s RIGHT NOW. We will constantly make ourselves aware of Him and His presence. We will treasure HIS FELLOWSHIP. Where our treasure is there our heart will be also .
Is our heart WITH Jesus and with being pleasing to Him or do we seek the approval, acceptance and fellowship of other people?

May Jesus bless you.
