Jesus said:“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow
Me;”John 10:27. Many Christian believers today, do not hear His
voice. They profess to believe in Jesus but they have never accepted
Him as their Lord and Master, as their Shepard. They never accepted
His words and commands, they never repented of sin and were never
baptized in water, as He commanded.
They were never born again, they do not hear His voice, they are not His
sheep and they will not enter heaven.
Jesus said:"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me." If you have accepted Jesus and you listen to Him, He will teach and guide you.
Jesus called me. One night many years ago, I woke up and I clearly heard these words:"Go into all the world an make disciples of all nations. Go where I send you. Take their hand and put it in My hand and I will guide them."
Jesus guides my footsteps and He warns me of danger. Years ago I used to preach at a church in the townships on Sundays. It was a very dangerous area. One Sunday morning I woke up at 4 in the morning. I had just dreamed that I was in the township on my way to the church and had been shot. Jesus was telling me not to go. The very next day Christian missionaries were shot and killed in the same area.
In the corporate work situation, Jesus guided me, gave me wisdom in business decisions. In the home, Jesus guided me in the discipline and bringing up of my children. In my marriage, my relationship with my wife, Jesus guides me. In all things, I seek His guidance and approval.
Jesus speaks to all His children but many do not listen. They follow their own mind and they follow the advice of other people.
We cannot please Jesus and bear fruit for His kingdom if we do not listen to Him and obey Him.
That is why many Christians will end up in hell. They are stubborn and disobedient. they follow after their own ways and the ways of the world, and they ignore Jesus when He speaks to them.
Without Jesus, we can do nothing. If we want to enter His kingdom, we have to listen to Him and obey Him. If we stray from Jesus we will perish.
Seek Jesus with all your heart. Live your life to please Him. Pray, wait on Him. Listen and obey when He speaks to you and He will guide you all the way, until the end.
May Jesus bless you.
Jesus is alive and hell is real. I am here to introduce you to Jesus Christ so that you can know Him, follow Him and have eternal life. Subscribe to my channel to learn more about Jesus. May Jesus bless you.
Jesus said:"My sheep
hear My voice and they follow Me." He did not say that some of
My sheep hear My voice, all of His sheep hear His voice, but not all
Christians are His sheep; not all believers are really interested in
hearing the voice of God. Most Christian believers are not interested
in knowing Jesus. They are not interested in the kingdom of God. They
just want salvation and they don't want to go to hell.
Some of them want to hear
the voice of God, but for their own purposes, and God is not used nor
abused by men. Jesus Christ is Lord and we are here to glorify Him,
to serve Him, to follow Him and to obey Him. The kingdom of God is
about Jesus. Jesus invites us to follow Him. Jesus promises His Holy
Spirit gifts to those who love Him, who obey Him and who follow Him.
Jesus promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit to all those who obey
Him, but believers are not interested. Some believers have a serious
desire for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and to hear the voice of
God, but then instead of staying with Jesus and persisting with Him,
seeking Him with all their heart, they start listening to the
theologians. They start listening to other Christians, who are not
followers of Jesus, others who are not His sheep and then they follow
after those sheep, instead of seeking Jesus with all their heart.
Jesus said:"Whoever is thirsty, come to the waters and drink."
He invites everybody but not all believers are thirsty. Very few seek
the will of God. They seek their own desires, they do not want to do
the will of God. They do not want to really hear the voice of God and
therefore because they are not serious they never get to hear His
voice.
If we are serious about
following Jesus Christ and we seek him with all our heart then He
will quickly answer us. He will reveal Himself to us, but we have to
press on in. We have to seek Him with all our heart, be diligent, be
persistent and we will learn that the kingdom of God is not about us
and about our desires, it is about Jesus Christ and doing his will.
People want to hear from God for their own purposes. God speaks for
His purposes, for the building of His kingdom. If we are not
interested in Jesus Christ, in knowing Him, in His kingdom, in
serving Him, in being pleasing to Him, then we will not hear from
Him. His sheep hear His voice and they follow Him because they love
Him and they want to serve Him. If you truly seek Jesus and you want
to serve Him, if you want to be part of His kingdom, you will hear
His voice. He will speak to you. He will reveal Himself to you. Jesus
said:"He who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves
Me, and me and My Father will come and dwell with him and I will
reveal Myself to him." If you truly seek Jesus and you obey His
words, then you will get to know Him for real. He will reveal Himself
to you. He will speak to you. He will guide you. He will teach you
and He will give you understanding; but if you persist in your own
ways, if you trust more in what other people say, if you trust more
in what you read in the Bible, then you can forget about it. Jesus
will not speak to you.
Jesus said to the
Pharisees:"You diligently search the scriptures in there to find
eternal life but you refuse to come to Me to have life." Do you
want life? Do you want to hear the voice of God? Then seek Jesus with
all your heart. Seek Jesus with all your heart and He will reveal
Himself to you.
Many people claim that God has spoken to them, but it is a terrifying thing when God does speak to you. He does not just
speak into your ear, the voice of God permeates through every part of your being. God is spirit and His voice cuts through you.
As the writer of Hebrews wrote in Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit. of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart . And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." It is a terrifying thing when God speaks to you because His voice permeates every part of your being.
If God has spoken to you, you will have no doubt that God has spoken to you. God is a God of love, but He is also a terrifying, terrible God. God is not our equal, God is GOD Almighty. If He has spoken to you, you will fear Him and you will respect Him. Nobody who has heard the voice of God will take Him lightly.
Jesus Christ is ALIVE. He is GOD. He speaks. He is the One who made the ears. He made the voice. He speaks and His sheep HEAR His VOICE. They LISTEN and they follow Him.
Very few Christian believers experience the voice of Jesus Christ. Very few truly know Jesus Christ. You will HEAR Him speaking to you when you get SERIOUS with Him. Most Christian believers are not serious. They do not believe in Jesus Christ. They do not believe that He is alive, that He is God WITH us, that He can speak. The have not really met Him and that is because they are not serious.
When you seriously seek Him you will find Him and you will HEAR Him speaking to you.
I realized that I did not really know Jesus Christ when I remembered His words where He said:"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me." And I said: "Lord I do not know Your voice and therefor I do not follow You but I WANT to and I am SERIOUS" and I started seeking. I started praying, I started pleading Him to speak to me, to reveal himself to me. And He did!.
If we are serious and we earnestly seek Jesus with all our heart we will find Him but if we are not serious about Him, about knowing Him, about following Him, we will never know Him and He will say to us one day:"Go away I never knew you, you worker of wickedness." Why? Because we never knew Him, we were never serious about knowing Him. We were not serious about doing His will, about learning from Him. If we are SERIOUS about knowing Jesus Christ and following Him then we will seek Him with all that is in us and He will reveal himself to us. He will speak to us, all the time, when it pleases Him.
He might speak to you in a dream. He might speak to you in your heart but you will get the message. You will KNOW Jesus is speaking to you because His sheep KNOW His VOICE. I know when Jesus is speaking to me. I know His voice. I listen and I follow Him
Do you know His voice? Do you follow Him? Are you SERIOUS about knowing and following Jesus Christ? If you truly want salvation you need to know His voice. You need to follow Him. You need to obey Him. You need to be pleasing to Him. Seek Him and you will find Him. Seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you.
Jesus Christ came to bring eternal life for His sheep. For those who follow Him. Not everybody is the sheep of Jesus Christ because not everybody believes.
Many call themselves Christians but they just believe in Jesus Christ for salvation, but they do not listen to His voice, they do not follow Him. They are not His sheep.
Jesus said:"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me and I give them eternal life and nothing will snatch them out of My hand."
He was talking about His sheep, those who hear His voice and who follow Him every day. He gives them LIFE and LIFE in ABUNDANCE. He gives them ETERNAL LIFE because they follow Him. He is the WAY and the LIFE and the TRUTH.
Do you FOLLOW Jesus Christ? Do you HEAR Him? Are you one of His sheep? Do you really believe in Jesus Christ?
Man shall not live from bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the MOUTH of God. God SPEAKS to all His creation but few listen. Those who LISTEN and who OBEY Him will LIVE but people refuse to listen to God. They ignore Him, they pretend that they do not hear Him.
Jesus Christ said that:"My sheep HEAR My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me."
People prefer not to listen to God. they prefer not to listen to Jesus Christ. They are not His sheep. They listen to other voices. They listen to other people. They listen to the evil one and therefor they perish.
God is speaking to each and everyone of us. The Holy Spirit convicts the whole world of sin, righteousness and judgment. If we LISTEN and OBEY we will LIVE, but if we keep on rejecting and ignoring Him we will perish.
Are we children of God? Do we listen to God? Do we listen to the Holy Spirit and obey Him? Or are we sons of the devil? Do we follow our own mind and do we listen to other people, do we listen to the devil? Who are we listening to? Do we listen to Jesus Christ and do we follow Him? He alone is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE. If we listen to Him and obey Him we will LIVE but if we reject Him we will perish.
Jesus Christ said:"My sheep HEAR
My VOICE, they LISTEN and they FOLLOW Me." Also that "they
will not go after strangers because they do not know the voice of the
strangers."
We cannot follow Jesus Christ if we do
not KNOW His VOICE, if we do not have the Holy Spirit and if we are
not led by the Holy Spirit. There are many voices going out in the
world and it is only those who know the voice of Jesus who will
recognize His voice and follow Him.
We cannot follow Jesus Christ if we do
not GO AFTER Him, if we do not SEEK His kingdom and His
righteousness. Jesus will not go after us. We have to go after Him
and follow Him.
Most believers do not know the voice of
Jesus Christ. Many who are born again never learned to LISTEN to His
voice, they never learned to FOLLOW Him and that is why they do not
know His voice neither do they follow Him.
If we are truly disciples of Jesus
Christ we will KNOW His VOICE. We will LISTEN and FOLLOW Him EVERY
DAY. We cannot follow Jesus part of the time, part of the way when it
pleases us. We cannot follow Jesus Christ if we do not turn away from
our own plans, from our own affairs and go after Him, if we do not
put Him FIRST and SEEK Him, seek to HEAR from Him, then we cannot be
His disciples, we cannot do the works that He prepared for us to do.
We have to DENY ourselves and pick up
our cross, FOLLOW Jesus Christ IN SPITE OF persecution, rejection and
temptation. In spite of all that we must put Jesus Christ FIRST and
go after Him every day. WAIT on Him, LISTEN and He will SPEAK to us.
He will guide us and He will teach us.
If we truly follow Jesus Christ we will
hear His voice every day. We might not hear what we WANT to hear but
we will hear what He wants to tell us, what He wants us to know . If
we follow Jesus we will HEAR His VOICE every day.
Many believers say that they have
difficulty discerning the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
speaks to us IN OUR SPIRIT, giving us WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING if we
seek the will of God.
It depends on whom we are trying to
HEAR, whom we are LISTENING to. Do I WANT to hear from God? Do I
really WANT His guidance or do I want my own desire? Whom do I want
to please? Myself, other people, or do I want to be pleasing to Jesus
Christ? That will determine whom I am listening to. Do I want to fit
in with the world? Do I want things my way? Because then I am
listening to the devil, and to other voices. The question is: Do I
really want to hear from God?
Jesus said that those who are pure in
heart will see God. If I purify my motives and I seek the will of God
then I will SEE the hand of God, I will HEAR His voice and I will
gain UNDERSTANDING. I will DISCERN when the Lord is speaking to me.
His sheep LISTEN to His voice and they FOLLOW Him.
Am I LISTENING to hear His voice or am
I satisfied to accept all other influences including my own? Am I
pure in heart? Am I seeking the will of God? If I am seeking to
please Him then His voice will come through LOUD AND CLEAR.
The world is full of Bibles but the
Word of God is scarce. It is easy to come by a Bible, Bibles are
cheap. You can buy a Bible for a Dollar or you can go on the
Internet and just search “Bible. ” There are hundreds of Bibles,
they are available to virtually everybody but very few people have
the Word of God.
Very few people have Jesus Christ, very
few people hear from Jesus because very few people know Him and very
few people seek A WORD FROM GOD. If you do not KNOW Jesus and you
have not received HIS SPIRIT and you do not LISTEN to Him every day
then you do not have the Word of God because Jesus Christ Himself IS
the Word of God, He is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE. He guides His
sheep because His sheep LISTEN to his VOICE, they HEAR His WORDS, He
IS THE WORD.
The Bible is NOT the Word of God, the
Bible is the word of men ABOUT God. But if you do not have Jesus
Christ you do not have the Word of God and you do not belong to Him.
Have you had a Word FROM God today?
Has Jesus spoken to you? Did you LISTEN? Do you OBEY Him and do you
FOLLOW Him? Do you know the WAY and are you following the WAY, Jesus
Christ? If you do not KNOW Jesus Christ and do not KNOW His voice,
if you do not follow Him and OBEY Him then you are LOST and you will
end up in damnation.
Seek Jesus and LISTEN to Him, He will
guide you into eternal life.
To a child of God nothing is more
important than HEARING the VOICE of his Father and having HIS
APPROVAL. Many say they believe but they are not children of God,
they were never born again! They never accepted Jesus Christ as their
Lord and Master, they never turned away from sin and their futile
life style of self gratification, they were never baptized in water
and they never received the Spirit of Christ.
Those who are LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD,
they are the children of God and if we do not have the Spirit of
Christ in us then we do not belong to Him. Do you have the Spirit of
Christ? Do you HEAR the VOICE of your Father? Are you truly a child
of God? Is it important to you to HEAR the voice of your Father or
are you not of the Kingdom of God?
Jesus Christ is coming for those who
love Him, who follow Him and who OBEY Him. Are you READY? Are you
WAITING on Him and are you LISTENING to His VOICE every day?
People who profess to be Christians
often ask me how I know that the voice that I hear speaking to me is
Jesus Christ. They say they need a Bible to discern the spirits, to
know who is speaking to them. If you do not know the voice of Jesus,
how can you be following Him? How can you discern a spirit from a
book, using your carnal mind? You just don't KNOW the voice of Jesus!
Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My
VOICE and they KNOW Me.” How do I know it is Jesus speaking to me?
Because I met Him! Because I KNOW Him, because I walk with Him, I
follow Him every day. If I did not know His voice I could not follow
Him.
Most believers who call themselves
Christians do not know Jesus. They are LOST. They are following their
own mind and they are listening to other people, but they don't know
Jesus! And they will stand in front of Him and He will say to
them:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” They
never knew His voice! If you meet Jesus then you immediately KNOW His
voice because He CHANGES YOU INSIDE. He makes you NEW and you KNOW
His voice, you KNOW you have a Father. His name is GOD and you KNOW
HIS VOICE! And you don't ever want to go away from Him
again.
Have you met Jesus? Do you know His
voice? Or have you been listening to people and are you deceived? Are
you LOST because you don't know the voice of the Master? That is why
people are listening to strangers and following after lots of voices,
because they never met Jesus Christ!
There are very few men and women in
this world who walk with God and who hear from God. The reason being
that they are not interested in God. They do not want to hear from
God. Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me.”
People do not want to LISTEN to Jesus,
they will not pray and wait on Him but they will sit in front of the
TV for hours, they will spend hours reading their Bibles, they will
spend hours listening to preachers and videos and religious programs
but they cannot pray for a minute. They cannot LISTEN to God because
they are NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM GOD. And that is why they
will perish, they will perish in front of their TVs, they will perish
in their churches and they will stand before Jesus and He will say to
them:”Go away from Me I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.”
Because, they were NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM HIM.
Jesus SPEAKS and those who want to hear
LISTEN, they WAIT on Him. They HEAR His voice and they FOLLOW Him.
Jesus said:”Draw closer to Me and I will draw closer to you.”
“Seek Me and you will find Me.”
Are you LISTENING to Jesus? Or are you
listening to other people? Or are you more interested in the TV or in
other things? Because, if you LISTEN you will HEAR Him speaking to
you. Jesus is calling you. Do you HEAR Him? Are you LISTENING? Are
you interested?
God has not abandoned His creation. God
is SPIRIT and He sent the Holy Spirit to convict the whole world of
sin, righteousness and judgment. Those who LISTEN and OBEY, they
become children of God but those who selfishly arrogantly reject the
Holy Spirit and follow after their own desires and the pleasure of
sin, they will perish.
Those who LISTEN to the Holy Spirit
become children of God. Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to my voice and
they follow Me.” Very few people LISTEN tot that voice inside that
convicts them of sin, righteousness and judgment. They reject Him and
that is why they perish.
Are you LISTENING to the voice of the
Holy Spirit speaking inside of you? Or do you prefer to follow after
your own thoughts and your own desires and thus reject God and make
yourself God? In the end you will perish! Submit to that voice of the
Holy Spirit speaking inside to you. Seek Him, draw closer to Him. If
we seek Him, we find Him. If we draw closer to Him He draws closer
to us.
He is knocking at the door of your
heart and mine. He wants to come in, He wants to feed us, He wants to
dine with us, He wants to teach us but if we keep on rejecting Him,
denying Him, we will end up away from Him in damnation for eternity.
God has not abandoned nor rejected you
and me but we have rejected Him. Are you EMBRACING Him, SEEKING Him,
LISTENING to Him and OBEYING Him?
Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My
voice and they follow Me. They will not listen to strangers because
they do not know the voice of the strangers. They will run away from
them.”(John 10) Many people believe that they are saved but they DO
NOT KNOW THE VOICE OF JESUS. They have never met Jesus! They just
believe they are saved based on what other people told them but they
have no relationship with Jesus Christ. They don't know Him and that
is why he will say to many who believed they were saved:”Go away I
never knew you, you workers of wickedness.”
YOU CANNOT FOLLOW JESUS IF YOU DO NOT
KNOW HIS VOICE, then you are not His sheep! You cannot follow Him if
you have not received His Spirit. You need to KNOW Jesus. You KNOW
HIS VOICE!
Many people say to me: How do you
distinguish between the Holy Spirit and evil spirits? They DON'T KNOW
Jesus! If you have met Him YOU WILL KNOW HIS VOICE! After Jesus
appeared to the apostle Paul on the Damascus road Paul followed Him,
He KNEW Him, He KNEW HIS VOICE, HE NEVER DOUBTED AGAIN after that. He
went on to die for Jesus. He KNEW His VOICE. The gospel that he
preached he did not receive from other people, he got it from Jesus
in revelation. He LISTENED TO JESUS! He was led by the Holy Spirit.
If we do not know His voice we cannot follow Him and we are not HIS.
You can read your Bible as much as you
like. You can listen to all the little tapes and videos and read all
the books that other people write but IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE VOICE OF
JESUS THEN YOU DO NOT KNOW HIM, and YOU ARE LOST!
Have you met Jesus Christ? Do you know
His voice? If you don't, GO ON YOUR KNEES! PRAY! SEEK HIM until He
reveals Himself to you and then YOU WILL KNOW HIS VOICE. You will not
doubt any more. Once you know His voice, you can follow Him and then
you know the One in whom you have believed.
Do YOU know HIS VOICE and do you FOLLOW
and OBEY Him, every day? Are you REALLY one of His sheep?
