The 5 Most Important Books of the Bible

The most important words in the Bible
are the words of Jesus, the RED LETTER WORDS in some Bibles. The
words of Jesus are the words of Eternal life. Jesus said:”The words
I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. John 6:63. There
are no other words that lead to eternal life. The words that Jesus
spoke were recorded in the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Those four books are the most important, as well as the book of Acts,
written by Luke, the author of the gospel of Luke.
Without Jesus, there is no hope of
salvation, not just believing in Him but in knowing, following and
obeying Him. He told us how to know Him, and His words were recorded
in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We can know ABOUT Jesus
by reading the gospels but we can only know HIM by OBEYING His words,
because if we OBEY His commandments He will disclose Himself to us;
He will reveal Himself to us, speak to us and we will KNOW Him for
real.
Jesus explained to His disciples that
He would not always be with them, that He would be crucified, He
would die and be resurrected, after which He would ascend to heaven
but, that He would not leave them behind as orphans, with nobody to
guide and teach them. He promised the Holy Spirit, which was also
given on the day of Pentecost, that was recorded in detail by Luke in
the book of Acts, chapters 1 and 2. The book of Acts further gives
account of the things that the apostles did under guidance of the
Holy Spirit after receiving receiving Him, on the day of Pentecost.
The rest of the New Testament, the
epistles, writings of the apostles, were letters of encouragement
addressed to the believers who had believed in Jesus as result of
their preaching. The book of Revelation was a revelation of the Lord
Jesus, given to the apostle John.
The Old Testament law, the Torah and
the Prophets were fulfilled with the coming of Jesus. Jesus
said:”The Law and the Prophets were
proclaimed until John. Since that time, the
Gospel of the Kingdom of God is being preached, and
everyone is forcing his way into it.”Luke 16:16.
Those who believe in, accept, and
follow Jesus are NOT under the Law of Moses. They must obey the
commands of Jesus to have eternal life, His teachings, in the
gospels. The sermon on the mount, in Matthew chapters 5 to 7 are most
important, but they are not the only commands of Jesus.
We must note that salvation was from
the Jews, as Jesus said in John 4:22. Jesus came for the Jews as
their Messiah, but they rejected Him. Few accepted Him. He was
crucified by them, as result of their instigation. Because the Jews
rejected Jesus, salvation came to the gentiles. The Law of Moses and
the Prophets were directed at the Jews. They were supposed to keep
the Law of Moses, the Ten Commandments and the other laws given by
Moses, in the Old Testament. That includes the laws about Sabbath and
Tithing, they were for the Jews, under the Law. The Law could not
save. The Law brought death to offenders. “Anyone who has set aside
the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two
or three witnesses.”Hebrews 10:28. There was NO MERCY under the Law
of Moses.
Jesus came and preached the gospel of
the Kingdom of God to the Jews, for the Jews, and He Himself took the
sins of the world on Him. Even though He never sinned He was
punished, bruised, crucified, He the innocent, for the guilty, so
that if they REPENT of their evil, stop doing evil, be baptized in
water for the forgiveness of their sin, and OBEY Him, live for Him,
in OBEDIENCE to Him, they could receive PARDON and the HOPE of
eternal life. The Jews rejected this salvation and therefor it was
extended to the gentiles also, not for them to become Jews, but
followers and disciples of Jesus.
After His resurrection, before
ascending to heaven Jesus said to His disciples:”Go therefore and
make disciples of ALL THE NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to
observe all that I commanded you; “Matthew 28:19,20. Those who
follow Jesus obey His gospel, His words, not the Law of Moses in the
Old Testament, they obey His commands.
Jesus brought GRACE, not to sin, but
for those who believe in Him, to repent, stop sinning, obey Jesus,
SIN NO MORE and live in obedience to Him. The person that keeps on
practicing sin and does not follow after Jesus will certainly end up
in hell, if he does not turn from his sin and follow Jesus. We have
to come under the discipline of Jesus and live in obedience to Him to
have eternal life.
Those of us who live in these latter
days have the benefit of Bibles, which the first believers did not
have. Most of them were illiterate, they could not even read. The
first believers did not have Bibles. They were taught the
commandments and teachings of Jesus, by the apostles. They obeyed the
gospel, repented, were baptized in water and received the Holy
Spirit, that Jesus promised to those who obey Him. They were led by
the Holy Spirit. They did not follow after men. They followed Jesus.
The Holy Spirit was promised to ALL
those whom Jesus calls to follow Him, so that they can be led by the
Holy Spirit as Peter also said on the day of Pentecost:”Repent, and
each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the
forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit. 39“For the promise is for you and your children and
for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to
Himself.”Acts 2:38.
We read in the book of Acts how the
born again, Holy Spirit filled apostles and believers were led by the
Holy Spirit. That was written down to serve for us as an example and
to direct and encourage us to follow their example of obedience to
Jesus, to be filled by the Holy Spirit and be guided by Him to do His
will, because without Jesus we can do nothing.
The Holy Spirit is CENTRAL to the life
of the born again Christian. Without following the Holy Spirit
guidance, we cannot bear fruit for the kingdom of God. The first
Christians did not have Bibles, they had the Holy Spirit and they
followed His guidance. Most, if not all professing Christians today
have Bibles but few have the Holy Spirit and even fewer follow His
guidance. Paul wrote in Romans 8:9 “But if anyone does not have the
Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.” and in Romans 8:14
“For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of
God.” This indicates that very few professing Christians today,
belong to Jesus. Many believe in Jesus but they do not obey Him, and
do not have His Spirit. They believe they have eternal life, but they
are lost, they do not belong to Jesus.
Those five books, Matthew, Mark, Luke,
John and Acts are the most important books of the Bible. Without
obedience to Jesus and obedience to His words, there is no hope of
salvation.
May Jesus bless you.

What we talk about

From the fullness of the heart speaks the mouth. What do we talk about? What is in our hearts? Do we whine and complain? Do we talk about other people? Do we talk about ourselves? Do we talk about TV, sports, our church, the Bible? Or do we talk about Jesus? Are we witnesses for Jesus? Or are other things more important in our lives?
If we truly follow Jesus Christ we will only talk about Jesus. Are we truly children of God and witnesses for Jesus Christ? What is in our hearts? What is on our mind and what do we talk about?

May Jesus bless you.

The RIGHT PRIORITY

If you want eternal life then you have to get your priorities right and there is only ONE PRIORITY for a follower of Jesus Christ and that is Jesus Christ HIMSELF, SERVING Him as LORD, FOLLOWING Him every day and DOING as He commands you, GOING where He guides you and being pleasing to Him.
Jesus Christ the LIVING GOD is the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE, without Him we have no direction and no life, NO HOPE! Jesus Christ IS the KING of the Kingdom of God. Jesus said:”Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things will be added unto you.” If Jesus Christ is not our priority we will perish, then we don't have LIFE, we don't have a HOPE. If you want eternal life then Jesus Himself is your priority every moment of your life. JESUS COMES FIRST!
Do you want LIFE, eternal life? Have you fixed your priority? Are you focused on Jesus and SEEKING to be pleasing to Him every moment of your life?

May Jesus bless you.

What God SAYS

Most people take seriously and often live by what others say, often to their own downfall. People are concerned about what other people say, what the doctor says, what the husband says, what the wife says, what the news says, what their children say, what the Bible says, what their pastor says but the one thing that  really matters they are not concerned about and that is WHAT GOD SAYS.
Man shall not live from bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, and God is speaking to each and every person. God is speaking to YOU and to me but very few of us LISTEN or take seriously, even take note of what God is saying. If we LISTEN to the Holy Spirit of God and OBEY we will LIVE. Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to My voice and they follow Me.” whom are we LISTENING to? Are we listening to others or are we listening to what Jesus is saying? What is more important to us?
If we LISTEN to what Jesus is saying we will have eternal life. If we disregard Him and listen to what other people say, we will perish. Who are we LISTENING to?

May Jesus bless you.

Make DISCIPLES OF JESUS not friends

)

The world wants to make friends with other people, with influential people. Christians like to use the names of famous name preachers, they want to be attached to and associate with famous names and great people. But that is not what Jesus called us for. He commanded us to make disciples of HIMSELF, not to make friends and influence people and build churches. It is all about Jesus and the Kingdom of God, about knowing Jesus and following Him, getting our wisdom and guidance from Him.
If we follow Jesus we will be persecuted, rejected, excluded from worldly people and we have to cherish HIS PRESENCE, His acceptance and His approval more than anything else. If you follow Jesus Christ you will often be alone but you will be with Jesus Christ. It is not about friends and being accepted by others. It is about our relationship with Jesus Christ and being pleasing to HIM.

May Jesus bless you.

When Jesus calls you

When Jesus calls you, you have to answer to the call and you have to go. You have to follow where He guides you and DO what He tells you to do. If you don't YOU WILL PERISH! Jesus called me and at first I did not go but He treated me harshly and He made me understand that if I do not answer the call He will cut me off.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit will get cut off. Every branch in Him that does not bear fruit will be cut off and burned. If we do not remain IN Jesus we cannot bear fruit. If we do not OBEY and FOLLOW Him we are not part of His kingdom, we are worthless and we will get CUT OFF.
Jesus spoke to me in many ways and He made me understand that if I do not answer the call He will cut me off. I had a heart attack in1998, and I died, and I found myself on my way to hell, even though I was a believer, even though I was baptized in water, baptized in the Holy Spirit but I was not following Jesus where He wanted to use me. In 2008 Jesus told me about the testimony of Mary K Baxter, It was not a man that told me, it was not a human. God Himself spoke to me. He said:”Heaven to hell Baxter.“ I found the testimony of Mary K Baxter and I heard how she told about people who were called by God and they did not answer the call, and THEY WERE IN HELL. THAT WOKE ME UP and I started following Jesus in ALL ERNESTY. I realized that if I do not go where He sends me and DO what He tells me to do, He will cut me off.
Jesus has called many people, they refuse to answer the call. THEY WILL PERISH! Others whom He called sold their services to church organizations, they became hirelings, because they did not believe and trust Jesus. They sold their services to a church organization and they speak the teachings and the words of the churches, THEY ARE NOT OBEYING JESUS. They are not serving Jesus, they are serving the churches, THEY ARE SLAVES OF MEN. THEY WILL GET CUT OFF if they do not repent and follow Jesus, and DO what HE tells them to do.
Jesus has called many, even those who are watching (reading/listening to) me now. Jesus called YOU, my friend. If you do not answer to the call and follow HIM, listen to HIM and OBEY HIM, He will reject YOU because when He called YOU would not answer. So YOU will also call and He will not answer. If you do not answer to the call, YOU WILL PERISH.
You cannot serve Jesus in your own merry way. You cannot plug Jesus into your life and your way of living. Either you follow Jesus, OBEY Him and DO what He tells you to do or He is not your LORD and your MASTER and He will reject you also like you rejected Him.
Jesus is calling YOU, NOW to follow Him. If you want eternal life, TRUST HIM, OBEY HIM and FOLLOW HIM. REPENT and BE BAPTIZED. Seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, LISTEN to His voice and FOLLOW HIM. Seek Him with all your heart and He will guide you, but reject Him, refuse Him and you will perish.
Jesus is calling you. ANSWER NOW!

May Jesus bless you.
