Get Serious Stop Sinning Follow Jesus

Most Christian believers are not serious about following Jesus. They just want salvation. They don't want to go into hell, when they die, but they are not interested in Jesus. What they do not realize is that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to eternal life, not just believing in Him, but following and obeying Him.

If you  do not OBEY the teachings of Jesus and do not FOLLOW after Him, you will no way enter heaven. Going to church, reading the Bible, confessing to be a Christian, will not save you.

You need to get serious about following Jesus. Put your mind on Jesus and do what He commanded. Repent, from your heart. Stop sinning. Stop going after your own desires and the things of the world. Be baptized in water. Live holy. Live according to the words of Jesus as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Communicate with Jesus, pray, seek Him with all your heart and He will come and dwell with you. You will experience His presence. He will give His Holy Spirit in and with you to teach and guide you, but you need to seek Him.

If we seek Him we find Him, if we draw closer to Him, He draws closer to us. Stop following after other people. Stop seeking the advice of others. If you want eternal life you have to follow the advice and guidance of Jesus, not that of other Christians. If you need guidance and direction, PRAY, ask Jesus. He will give it to you. That is the only way that you can follow Jesus. That is what the Bible tells you and that is the advice that true followers of Jesus will give you.

Jesus is ALIVE and He speaks. His sheep HEAR His VOICE and they FOLLOW Him. They do not follow after the pleasures of sin, their own ambitions and other people. Their ambition is to follow Jesus, do what He tells them to do, go where He sends them, achieve His will and for Him to be pleased with them. they live for Him and His kingdom.

Jesus is Lord. If you do not follow and serve Him, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven, His kingdom.

If you want LIFE, get serious about Jesus. Go after Him, serve, follow and obey Him until the very end.

The Biggest Threat for Serious Jesus Followers

To be a child of God means to be a
follower of Jesus Christ, as Paul also wrote in Romans chapter 8
verse 14: "Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they
are the children of God," they are the sons of God.

People always look for an example. They
look for someone to follow, but the biggest threat for a child of God
is to start running after and following after other believers,
following after preachers, prophets, so-called men and women of God.
The biggest threat for a child of God is to turn his eyes off Jesus,
to put his trust in men, because then he turns away from God.

We can only be pleasing to Jesus if we
stay focused on Him. We can only follow Him and we can only bear
fruit for His kingdom, if we get our wisdom and our direction from
Him, not from other people, not from the books and writings of other
people, but from Jesus Christ Himself, from the Holy Spirit. He
promised the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth to come and dwell in,
and be with those who earnestly seek Him, those who wish to follow
Him and who obey His words. Repent and be baptized, stop sinning,
seek Jesus with all your heart, seek the indwelling of His Holy
Spirit in you. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and will
teach you everything that you need to know, but as soon as you start
listening to Christians, a brother, a sister, a prophet, and you turn
away from Jesus, then you are in danger of hellfire.

That has been the downfall of many
serious followers of Jesus. They started following other people.
There is nobody else that is worthy to be followed. It is dangerous
to follow after men, it is fatal. We have to trust in Jesus alone and
follow Him. Ask Him and He will guide you. Wait on Him, seek Him
with all your heart, draw closer to Him and He will draw closer to
you. Do not be satisfied with anything but hearing from Jesus,
whatever any other man or woman of God tells you, whatever revelation
they have had, take that to Jesus. Whatever people tell you, go and
consult Jesus about it. Ask Jesus, it is Jesus whom we must follow to
have eternal life. Remember, the biggest threat for a child of God is
to start following after people, because then he's not following
Jesus anymore.

Follow Jesus and you will have life.
Jesus Christ alone is the way and the truth and the life.

You must be SERIOUS to Follow Jesus

If you want eternal life
you have to be very serious about following Jesus Christ. It is not
just a matter of believing in Jesus. We have to follow Him. We have
to obey His words and go with Him until the very end. We have to
repent of all sin and of our own ways and make up our mind to follow
Jesus Christ. We have to obey Him, be baptized in water and we have
to seek Him with all our heart and he will speak to us. He will
guide us and we can follow Him.

I was shocked when I
realized that even though I had repented, been baptized in water, and
received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that I did not really know
the voice of the Lord. When I realized that Jesus said that:"My
sheep hear My voice and they follow Me," I had to be honest and
I said:"Lord but I do not know Your voice and I do not follow
You. I follow my own mind I do as I think fit. I'm going about my own
life." I was shocked and I realized that I had to seek Jesus I
had to hear His voice and I had to listen to Him to be able to follow
Him. I sought Jesus with all my heart. I decided to not eat or drink.
I said:"Lord, don't send anybody else to speak to me. I do not
want to hear from a man. I do not want to hear from anybody else, I
want to hear from Jesus." He did not speak to me straightaway,
but after I sought Him earnestly, He started speaking to me.

Many people ask me why
Jesus does not speak to them and they have asked Him to speak to
them? Dear friend you need to be really serious about following Jesus
Christ. You need to seek His will. You need to seek to be pleasing to
Him. You need to seek His kingdom, not your own ways. He will not
speak to you about yourself. He will speak to you about His kingdom.
He will correct you and discipline you. He will tell you the things
in your life that are not right, that you need to change, to be
pleasing to Him. He will rebuke you. He will teach you, He will give
you understanding of the things that you do not understand about Him
and about the kingdom of God, things that you do not understand in
the Bible. He will give you understanding, you will understand those
things if you seek Jesus with all your heart, if you seek His
kingdom. But you have to be serious. If you're not serious Jesus will
not answer you. You need to seek Jesus with all your heart and be
serious about following Him, about being pleasing to Him. nobody will
get into heaven easily. We have to strive hard, we have to press on
in. We have to deny ourselves and pick up our cross every day and go
after Jesus. We must love Him, seek Him follow Him and obey Him. We
must be serious.

Are you serious about
Jesus Christ, about the kingdom of heaven? If you're not serious you
will not enter His kingdom dear friend. seek Jesus with all your
heart. He rewards those who earnestly seek Him and show by the deeds
that they are serious about following Him ,those who obey and seek
Him day and night, who wish to follow Him. They will hear His voice.
He will guide them and He will teach them, and He will use them for
His kingdom.

Just Not Serious

Most Christian believers
are not serious about Jesus Christ and that is why they will end up
in hell. They do not really believe in Jesus. They do not really
believe that He is Lord. They do not believe that He is the One who
will determine whether they go into heaven or into hell and that is
why they disregard Him. They do not fear Him and they do not obey
Him. Some say they love Him, but if they did they would obey His
commands.

Jesus said:"If you
love Me, obey My commands." Most Christian believers couldn't
care about Jesus. They care about other things. They care about
themselves, their own life, their church, their status, everything
other but Jesus Christ. He is not on their list of priorities. They
do not really believe the words of Jesus. If they were serious about
Jesus and they did truly believe they would be very careful to obey
His words, because His words are the words of eternal life. Jesus
Christ came to give us the words of eternal life and they were
recorded in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the words of
Jesus, the words by which we will be judged. If we disobey Jesus we
will perish. Those who disobey Jesus are already judged. If we truly
believe that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life we will
follow Him, but most believers are not serious, they don't believe in
Jesus. They believe their own ideologies, their own theories. They
don't care for Jesus and that is why they will perish.

Jesus gave many stark
warnings. He said:"If you deny Me before men, I will deny you
before My heavenly Father and His holy angels." Jesus said if
you look at a woman to lust after her you have already committed
adultery in your heart and you're guilty before God. The words of
Jesus are very harsh words, they are very hard words and therefor
people rather want to talk around it, disregard it, discount it to
their own detriment. If we do not obey Jesus we will not enter His
kingdom. Jesus said that if we obey His words, if we repent, turn
away from all sin, turn to Him, if we seek Him with all our

heart, if we are baptized
in water as He commanded and we ask Him, then He will give us the
Holy Spirit, His Spirit to come and guide us, to be with us. He
promised that He will reveal Himself to us. He will speak to us.
People don't believe. That is why they do not obey Jesus. They don't
take Him seriously. That is why they don't hear His voice, they don't
know His voice and they will end up in hell. Jesus said and He will
say to many religious people:"Go away, I never knew you you
workers of wickedness," even though these people were preachers,
they cast out demons, performed many miracles in the name of Jesus.
He will say to them:"Go away, I never knew you." They were
not interested Jesus, they just used His Name for their own benefit.
They were not serious about following Him, they did not hear His
voice, they did not want to hear His voice.

Jesus will reveal Himself
to everyone who seeks Him but people are not serious. Jesus promised
that if we seek Him with all our heart, if we obey His words, He will
reveal Himself to us. Him and the Father will come and dwell with us.
But people don't believe, they're not serious, they're not
interested, they don't want Jesus to be with them. They I want to be
with other things. They occupy themselves with other things that
appeal more to them. Jesus is an offense to them. They don't take Him
seriously, that is why they will perish. Jesus Christ is the only
way, whether you like it or not. It's either His way, or no way.
Ether we love Him, obey Him, fear Him, do whatever He tells us to do
or when we stand before Him one day in judgment, He will say:"You
were not interested in Me. You had no business with me. I have no
place for you. Go away."

Do we believe? Are we
serious about Jesus? If we are, we will show it by our deeds, we will
not allow anything from stopping us to do what Jesus requires. Most
believers are not serious about Jesus Christ. Are we serious about
Jesus?

Are you SERIOUS?

The gospel of Jesus Christ
His mighty, powerful, to immediately transformed and change those who
hear the gospel and who believe, but most people are not serious.
Many people keep on hearing the gospel over and over and it has no
effect on them, but there are some who hear the gospel, the words of
Jesus, who embrace them and who take action, who immediately repent
and are baptized in water. They are baptized in the Holy Spirit and
they are transformed, they are changed. These people are alive for
Jesus because they have truly been born again. They go out and they
witness for Jesus. They bring others unto Him because they are truly
born again. The gospel of Jesus Christ has transformed them, but many
others are fast asleep. They just want to be entertained. They read
the same verses over and over. They are religious, they are wise in
their own estimation, but the gospel of Jesus Christ has no effect on
them because they're not serious.

They do not believe, they
do not repent, they do not stop sinning, they are just not serious
about Jesus Christ, and they will perish. Many of those are extremely
religious, they belong to churches and they know the Bible very well.
They are cynical, opinionated, but they have no knowledge of Jesus
Christ. They are sinners, they have never been transformed by the
power of God because they are not serious about Jesus Christ. Those
who are serious about Jesus, who embrace Him, who obey Him, who
repent and are baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit; they go out
in the power of the Spirit and they themselves make disciples of
Jesus Christ, because the power of God dwells in them.

Are you serious? Are you
serious about Jesus Christ? Have you been transformed by the power of
God? Do you have the living water of the Spirit of God flowing
through you? Or are you just a forgetful hearer, who keeps on
listening to the gospel, who reads the same verses over and over and
it has no effect on you? Are you serious? Are you serious about Jesus
Christ, or are you fast asleep doomed and on your way to hell?

Come alive to Jesus. Get
serious come alive, take action and let the gospel of Jesus Christ
transform you into a live child of God.

From the Heart

The gospel that is being preached in churches today is utter garbage. Churches preach a FORMULA to avoid hell and spend eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ. All of that is an utter LIE. Salvation is not about a formula. It is not about just believing in Jesus Christ and the story of the baby Jesus and how He was crucified for mankind and now if we believe in Jesus, we can have eternal life. That is a LIE.

The truth is that Jesus Christ is the manifestation of God Himself in the flesh and if we do not accept Him and obey His teachings, if we do not turn from sin and follow Jesus Christ, obey Him, if we do not truly love Him then we will not have eternal life. If we do not come to KNOW Jesus Christ for real and serve Him from the heart then we hope in vain, then the gospel that we have believed in will disappoint us because it is an utter LIE.

The truth is that if we obey the words of Jesus Christ, that  He Himself delivered, the gospel of Christ, if we believe those words and obey them, repent, turn away from sin, seek Jesus with all our heart, be baptized in water, as He commanded, if we purify ourselves and open our hearts to Jesus, He will reveal Himself to us as REAL. We will get to know Him and He promised His Spirit, the Holy Spirit to come and dwell with us, Christ IN us, to guide us and to teach us and to give us wisdom and understanding, to reveal Himself to us and in us and through us, but if we do not love and serve Jesus Christ from the heart, seriously , with all that is in us, then we will not have eternal life!. If we do not have Jesus now then we will not have Him the day that we die. We will be LOST for eternity. We cannot fool Jesus, we cannot get to heaven by following some formula, a few steps, a recipe, one two three, that is a LIE from satan. We need to KNOW Jesus Christ the Living God for REAL and SERVE Him from our heart, every day. if you do not LOVE Him and if you do not SERVE Him He will say to you:"Go away, I never knew you" like He will say to most church people, believers who think they were Christians. They never knew Him and He will say to them:"Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness." We have to REPENT, turn away from our own ways and follow Jesus and LOVE Him more than life, then we will have eternal life, and if you don't love Jesus from the heart you are only fooling yourself, and then you hope in vain.

Get serious about Jesus Christ, seek Him with all your heart and all your power and follow Him, obey Him, love Him and DO what He commands you to do. Get serious with Jesus from the heart or perish.

Don't waste your time with Jesus if you are not SERIOUS

If you are not DEAD SERIOUS about following Jesus Christ then you should not start following Him. Jesus said that we must COUNT THE COST before we decide to follow Him. It will cost you EVERYTHING if you follow Jesus. Jesus said that if we WISH to come after Him we must DENY ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him EVERY DAY.

If you follow Jesus Christ you will have to GIVE UP EVERYTHING. You WILL be rejected, you will be HATED, you will have to SACRIFICE, you might have to sacrifice your life to follow Jesus Christ. You will have to OBEY Him and live your life to please HIM, not yourself. You will have to give your UTMOST for Him because He gave His life for us.

If we are not willing to willing to FOLLOW and OBEY Him we are not worthy of Him. Jesus expects our UTMOST BEST. We cannot give Him the scraps or what is left over. Don't think that you can just fall on your knees before you go to bed and say a quick prayer. It is not acceptable to Him.  He does not want your scraps.

Do not give Jesus a LAME OFFERING. In the times of Moses when people had to bring an offering to the temple some of them took their lame sheep, or their sick animals - that is a lame offering. If you give to Jesus you have to give your BEST not your scraps. He wants the BEST of your TIME, the best of everything because He is WORTHY. He wants UTTER OBEDIENCE. It will cost you EVERYTHING  to follow Jesus Christ.

Many churches make it EASIER THAN IT IS. They say you must just BELIEVE IN JESUS,  that is a lie. Go and read the words of Jesus in the gospels and COUNT THE COST. Are you WILLING to give up everything to follow Jesus?



If you are not DEAD SERIOUS, He will not answer your prayers. Many people want to hear from Jesus but they are not willing to pray, they are not willing to WAIT ON HIM. They are not willing to LABOR in prayer, to WRESTLE with God in prayer. They will get NOTHING. If you are not willing to put EVERYTHING into your relationship with Jesus Christ you are WASTING YOUR TIME. He is WORTHY of our UTMOST and He will accept nothing but the BEST.

If you do not offer Him EVERYTHING and your very BEST it is not good enough and He will reject it, He will reject YOU. We have to give Him our UTMOST, EVERYTHING that we have, we have to offer Him or else we are not worthy of Him.

If you are not willing to give up everything for Jesus Christ, you are wasting your time, you WILL NOT enter the kingdom of Heaven. If you are not that serious then you cannot be His disciple and you are not worthy of Him. Follow Jesus with ALL your power or just don't bother because you are wasting your time.

Be consistent

Many believers are UP and DOWN in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Some days they are serious and they follow Him, other days they deny Him and then other things are more important, their friends, their ambitions, their own things.
If we want to follow Jesus we have to be consistent. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and for ever, and He expects of us to follow Him EVERY DAY. Jesus said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself,  pick up his cross EVERY DAY and come here follow Me.” If we are lukewarm, if we are up and down in our relationship with Him then we are not serious and He will VOMIT us out, He will REJECT us.
We have to MAKE UP OUR MINDS and BE SERIOUS, we have to follow Jesus EVERY DAY and give Him our UTMOST, EVERY DAY.

Guidance from ABOVE

God is everywhere and God knows everything about every one of us. God CARES FOR US and He is watching us. God KNOWS about tomorrow. He knows what we need and He is ready to supply in all our needs. He is ready to guide us into the future but people ignore Him, they pretend that He doesn't exist and so they go through life and in the end they are LOST.

If we need WISDOM we must ask it from God, He gives to all men freely. If we need guidance we must PRAY AND ASK HIM. God has not abandoned us, He cares for us. If we go on our knees and humble ourselves before Him, He will guide us into all truth. Jesus Christ will reveal Himself to us and He will guide us and He will teach us because He cares for us. Jesus Christ is GOD and He will reveal Himself to every person who is SERIOUS. He will guide you, He will teach you and He will give you ETERNAL LIFE. Jesus Christ is the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE.

Go on your knees and PRAY with a SERIOUS HEART, ask HIM for guidance and He will reveal Himself to you, He will give you GUIDANCE but you have to BE SERIOUS.

Jesus cares for you and me and He will answer our prayers if we go to Him with a SERIOUS HEART. Call out to Jesus and HE WILL ANSWER YOU. He is the LIVING GOD!

Be SERIOUS

Jesus Christ came into this world on SERIOUS BUSINESS. He came to save the world from sin, He came to save the lost, He came to DIE, He came to SUFFER. He came to GIVE HIS LIFE so that those who ACCEPT HIM can have life. But He was rejected, persecuted, slandered, they spat on Him, they tortured Him, they hung Him on a cross and they killed Him, for you and for me. The world did not accept Jesus, the world rejected Jesus.

They accepted what He gave to them. They accepted the healings, they accepted the bread and the fish when He fed the multitudes but THEY WOULD NOT GO WITH HIM. They would not stay with Him. THEY REJECTED HIM.

This world does not accept Jesus. Many so called Christians accept Jesus by their confession but they do not walk with Jesus. They are not associated with Jesus. They are associated with their church and their pastor and their Bible (KJV, NIV, NAS...) but not with Jesus. They will not follow after Jesus. If we are not willing to go after Jesus, follow and obey Him, be associated with Him, be rejected and persecuted because of Him and if we do not remain faithful to Him until the end then we will not spend eternity with Him, WE WILL NOT BE SAVED.

We cannot just accept the good things, want eternal life but reject Jesus. If we are not serious about our relationship with Jesus Christ He will also turn us away. If we deny Him He will certainly deny us. If we reject Him He will say to us:”Go away I never knew you, you worker of wickedness.” How serious are we about our relationship with Jesus? How SERIOUS are we about OBEYING Him and DOING what He commands?

Many believers will not obey Him and be baptized in water. Others will not accept the Holy Spirit which He sent to guide and teach us, they rather stick to their Bibles and reject Jesus, exactly like the pharisees did, they stuck to their Bibles (Torah) and they crucified Jesus Christ.

How SERIOUS ARE WE about our relationship with Jesus Christ? Will we FOLLOW and OBEY Him and endure with Him until the very end? May Jesus bless you.  

In SPIRIT and in TRUTH

A Samaritan woman once asked Jesus where we should worship, in Jerusalem or where? Jesus said to her that a time has come and now is that the true worshipers will worship God in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. It is not a matter of WHERE you worship but HOW you worship, whether you are SERIOUS with Jesus, and that is why Jesus gave us a NO NONSENSE STATEMENT. He said:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here follow Me.”

Eternal life is about those people who worship God in SPIRIT and in TRUTH, those people who are not interested in playing games, in religion but who are serious about Jesus, who WANT eternal life, who are willing to GIVE IT ALL UP and go after Jesus Christ. Those are the ones who will have eternal life, those are the ones who will seek the Kingdom of God and FIND IT, those are the ones who will press on in and ENTER the Kingdom of God.

Do you desire to worship God in SPIRIT and in TRUTH? Are you serious? Then go after Jesus, seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. OBEY His commands, His words that He spoke and Him and the Father will come and LIVE WITH YOU and He will REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU, you will KNOW HIM and HE WILL GUIDE YOU and He will GIVE YOU ETERNAL LIFE! Do you want REALITY? Do you want Jesus Christ? Then GO AFTER HIM!

Sinning Unknowingly

Some people say that they can not know whether they are unwittingly, unknowingly sinning against God. That is not true because the Holy Spirit convicts each and every person, the whole world, of sin, righteousness and judgment. We need to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit convicting us and we must mend our ways. We must focus on Jesus and ask Him to examine us, to convict us, to show us what there is in us that He is not pleased with.

If we are serious about our relationship with Jesus Christ and want to be pleasing to God then we will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and and we WILL NOT SIN. We will DO what is pleasing to Him.

FOR Jesus Christ

The words of Jesus are very clear. He said that :”He who is not FOR ME is against Me and He who does not gather WITH ME, scatters.” We cannot be NEUTRAL about Jesus Christ. If we are not living FOR Him and if we are not on fire for Him then we are not worthy of Him and He will vomit us out of His mouth.

Are you FOR Jesus or are you for yourself and for other things?

Show that you are serious

Many people say that they love Jesus but at the same time they also confess that they cannot stop sinning. It is the same as being married and having many other lovers. The same people also say that Jesus does not talk to them, they don't hear His voice.

If you do not show by your deeds that you are serious about your relationship with Jesus Christ HE WILL NOT ANSWER YOU. Your faith is in vain. If we draw closer to Him, He draws closer to us. Show by your DEEDS that you are serious about following Jesus. REPENT, STOP SINNING, BE HOLY, OBEY JESUS, BE BAPTIZED IN WATER for the washing off of your sin, GO AFTER Jesus, seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you.

The Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ about following HIM and about DOING HIS WILL. It is not about YOU or ME about our joy, our fun or our pleasure. It is about OBEDIENCE TO JESUS.

Jesus said that:”Whoever WISHES to come after Me must deny himself, pick up his cross every day and come here FOLLOW Me.” The kingdom of God is a STRUGGLE it is a TEST and it is only those who endure until the end that will win the prize of eternal life. The kingdom of God is promised to those who ENDURE UNTIL THE VERY END. They will not be many. Jesus called them “little flock.”

Are you part of the LITTLE FLOCK, the VERY FEW that will follow Jesus and endure until the very end.

It is NOT a GAME

To many people life is a game, and they play it according to their rules. They think it's a drama where they themselves are the main player and they do things THEIR WAY. They manipulate other people and they do anything to achieve their goals, their desires and their lusts. They think that they can also manipulate God and they conduct their religion in exactly the same way.

They interpret the Bible in THEIR WAY according to THEIR insight and THEIR preference and they think that God will play along with them. To them life is a joke because they control everything and they are always the winners!

Life is NOT a game and WE are not in control. God is in control and if we do not submit to God and do things HIS WAY we will perish. It doesn't matter how YOU “understand” the Bible or how YOU in YOUR wisdom interpret the scriptures. What matters is WHAT GOD SAYS and whether we OBEY HIM and DO what is pleasing to HIM. If we do not please Him we will perish.

We cannot do things our way. It is either GOD'S WAY or it is NO WAY. Therefor we have to humble ourselves before Jesus Christ, SEEK Him, OBEY Him and DO what He commands us to do. We need to seek HIS WISDOM and HIS GUIDANCE and DO what He tells us to do. If we lean on our own understanding we will perish. It is NOT a GAME, it is SERIOUS.

It is time to stop playing games and to realize that eternity depends on whether we OBEY Jesus Christ and DO what He commanded us to do. If we do not SEEK Him and OBEY HIM we will perish. Jesus Christ is LORD. None of us are MAIN PLAYERS, we are either servants of the kingdom of God or we are servants of sin and slaves of the lusts of our flesh.

If we live according to our desires and our flesh we will perish but if we SEEK Jesus Christ OBEY HIM and are led by His Spirit we will LIVE. Are you still playing religious games or have you stopped playing and got serious with Jesus Christ?

Are you SERIOUS?

Many believers want Jesus Christ to speak to them, to guide them as He promised but they never started following Him, they are not serious! They never repented from their evil ways, they never stopped sinning. They never committed to follow Jesus Christ. They never obeyed Him and were not baptized in water. They are not going after Him. They do not deny themselves, turn their back on the pleasures of the world and on their own desires and they do not GO AFTER Jesus every day. THEY ARE JUST NOT SERIOUS!

You need to SHOW Jesus that you are serious about following Him. You need to TURN AWAY from sin and from serving yourself, going after the lusts of your flesh, you need to STOP SINNING, BE HOLY and righteous. Be baptized for the washing off of your sin and then SIN NO MORE. If we draw closer to Him, He draws closer to us. If we seriously go after Him, He will guide us, every day. He will give His Spirit IN US to guide us every step of the way, but WE NEED TO BE SERIOUS or else we will perish!

Are you serious? Are you seriously going after Jesus? Is He on your mind all day? Are you praying, seeking Him? If you are not showing by your deeds that you are serious about following Jesus Christ, you will never know Him and never enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Be serious, seek Him with all your heart. Go after Him every day UNTIL THE END OF YOUR LIFE. Follow Him and obey Him until the end if you want eternal life.
