The UNKNOWN Jesus Christ

The worldly modern day preachers and churches preach a different Jesus Christ from the one that the disciples followed and that Paul and the apostles preached. They have never MET Jesus Christ and therefor they do not KNOW Him, they do not FEAR Him and they do not RESPECT Him like those did who truly KNEW Him.

The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of MEN WHO SUPPRESS THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22PROFESSING TO BE WISE, THEY BECAME FOOLS, 23AND EXCHANGED THE GLORY OF THE INCORRUPTIBLE GOD FOR AN IMAGE IN THE FORM OF CORRUPTIBLE MAN and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.”

They modern day preachers have brought Jesus down to THEIR own level, down to their level of thinking, down to their CORRUPTION. Their minds are darkened and they have become FUTILE IN THEIR SPECULATIONS. They are preaching a Jesus, AN IMAGE, THAT DOES NOT EXIST, because THEY DO NOT KNOW HIM.

John the Baptist spoke of Jesus. I read Matthew 3:11 “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; HE WILL BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE. 12“His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but HE WILL BURN UP THE CHAFF WITH UNQUENCHABLE FIRE.”

Jesus Christ is the GOD OF FIRE and He will PURGE the earth and the heavens with FIRE. No sin and no sinners will stand in front of Him and that is why John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming of Jesus. We read in Matthew 3:7 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8“Therefore BEAR FRUIT IN KEEPING WITH REPENTANCE; 9and do not suppose that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father’; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham. 10“THE AXE IS ALREADY LAID AT THE ROOT OF THE TREES; THEREFORE EVERY TREE THAT DOES NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT IS CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE.”

If we do not bear GOOD FRUIT we will get CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE! He will cleanse His threshing floor through and through. Sinners will not STAND in the presence of a holy God.

The apostle Peter KNEW Jesus Christ and he spoke from what he KNEW and from REVELATION that he received from Jesus. We read in 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

11Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE OUGHT YOU TO BE IN HOLY CONDUCT AND GODLINESS, 12looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! 13But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, IN WHICH RIGHTEOUSNESS DWELLS.”

We ought to be righteous people to stand in the presence of God, like the prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 33

“14Sinners in Zion are terrified;

Trembling has seized the godless.

“WHO AMONG US CAN LIVE WITH THE CONSUMING FIRE?

WHO AMONG US CAN LIVE WITH CONTINUAL BURNING?”

15He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity,

He who rejects unjust gain

And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe;

He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed

And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;

16He will dwell on the heights,

His refuge will be the impregnable rock;

His bread will be given him,

His water will be sure.

17YOUR EYES WILL SEE THE KING IN HIS BEAUTY;

THEY WILL BEHOLD A FAR-DISTANT LAND.”

They will SEE the Kingdom of God.

“Those who are pure in heart will SEE God.” Sinners will not come into His presence.

If we are not PURE and HOLY and if we have not been purified by the FIRE of the Holy Spirit we cannot walk in the presence of God. We cannot say that “WE ARE ALL SINNERS.” If we are in a church where we are all sinners we will all be CONSUMED by the FIRE and the WRATH of God.

We read in Hebrews 12:28 “Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may OFFER TO GOD AN ACCEPTABLE SERVICE WITH REVERENCE AND AWE; 29for our God is a CONSUMING FIRE.”

If you meet Jesus Christ and you walk with Him He will baptize you with FIRE. He will cleanse you and He will purify you and you will not even tolerate the thought of sin. Sinners will not live in His presence. The apostles KNEW Jesus and therefor they wrote about what they KNEW, not about an IMAGE that they made up in their minds. They knew Jesus Christ and that was why Paul also wrote in Philippians 2:12 “continue to WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING.”

There is no such thing as ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, there is no such thing as A SINNING CHRISTIAN. You cannot walk with God AND walk with sin. You cannot watch TV and pornography and go along with the world and also walk with Jesus! YOU WILL BURN, you will be CONSUMED by His FIRE.

Rather ask Jesus to purge you and cleanse you by His FIRE, His Holy Spirit FIRE and then you can walk in holiness and righteousness WITH FIRE because our God is a CONSUMING FIRE. You cannot follow Jesus Christ AND sin. If you are still a sinner you do not know Jesus and you are not walking with Him, you are not following Him, you are walking with satan and you are on your way to HELL. WAKE UP and bow before Jesus, purify yourself , seek Him with all your heart and walk with Him, follow Him or else you will PERISH.
