As born again children of God and followers of Jesus Christ we are the Body of Christ in which He dwells and we must be HOLY like He is holy. We must SEPARATE ourselves from immorality and unrighteousness. We must be holy as Jesus Christ is holy. We must also not associate with hypocrites, sinning Christians, those who profess to be children of God but who do not only approve of but who also practice immorality,
The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 5:9 “I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with immoral people. I did not at all mean the immoral people of the world or the covetous and swindlers or the idolaters for then you would have to go out of the world, but actually I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he should be an immoral person or covetous or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or a swindler, NOT EVEN TO EAT WITH WITH SUCH A ONE for what have I to do with judging others. Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.”
Churches are full of fornicators, adulterers, wicked sinners. They profess to be sinners, they say:”We are all sinners.” If we follow Jesus Christ we have to be holy, separate unto Him. As children of God we have to be separate, holy and keep ourselves unto Him. We do not associate with immorality and sin.
Come out from among them, be HOLY and then God will be among you.
