Intellectualism DEFIES the Holy Spirit

The world has high regard for
intellectuals, people with qualifications, people who have studied,
people with doctors degrees. The very same with believers, they have
high regard for preachers with doctor's degrees in divinity, people
who have studied the Bible, who have been to Bible school. They
regard them as qualified to be preachers but academic qualifications
and Bible knowledge has never saved anybody and will not save
anybody. we need to have knowledge of Jesus Christ, we need to know
Him personally.

the disciples of Jesus Christ knew Him
personally and those who followed Him also knew Him by His Spirit.
The apostle Paul was an intellectual, He was a Pharisee who knew the
scriptures well but he did not know Jesus Christ. He persecuted Jesus
Christ (His followers) and it was only after he met Jesus Christ on
the Damascus road and he had REVELATION from Jesus Christ, it was
only after that, that he knew Him and the message that the apostle
Paul preached was not from the scriptures. The message that he taught
he received directly from the Lord Jesus Christ, not from anybody
else.

Paul wrote in Galatians 1: 11" For
I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached
by me is not according to man. 12For I neither received it from
man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a
revelation of Jesus Christ.

      13For
you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to
persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy
it; 14and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my
contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for
my ancestral traditions. 15But when God, who had set me
apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His
grace, was pleased 16to reveal His Son in me so that I might
preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with
flesh and blood, 17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who
were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once
more to Damascus.

 18Then three years later I went
up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas(Peter), and stayed
with him fifteen days. 19But I did not see any other of the
apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.”

Paul did not go to Bible school, he was
not taught and coached by those disciples who walked with Jesus
Christ. After he met Jesus Christ he was taught by the Holy Spirit.
He was taught through revelation by Jesus Christ Himself and that is
why the gospel that Paul preached was not by the Book. Paul wrote
many books after He had revelation from Jesus Christ. People are sold
on the Bible, they are sold on academics and the academic
intellectuals defy the Holy Spirit of God. They have taken the key of
knowledge away from the people because they pretend to know
everything about God and the kingdom of God because they have studied
and they know the scriptures, but they do not know Jesus Christ. They
never had a revelation from Jesus Christ, they have no TESTIMONY of
Jesus Christ .

Paul had a testimony of Jesus Christ
and wherever he went he told the world about Jesus Christ. What he
told them he had heard and learned from Jesus Christ. We can only be
disciples of Jesus Christ if we have had REVELATION from Him, if we
are led by the Holy Spirit of God. Bible study and Bible School does
not qualify you to be a disciple or a follower of Jesus Christ. If
you do not KNOW Jesus Christ you cannot follow Him and He will say
to many so-called preachers and Bible students, Bible preachers and
Bible teachers, He will say to them:"Go away i never knew you."
They have no knowledge of God. all they know is what they have read
in the scriptures but they don't know God, they don't know Jesus
Christ. To them He is not REAL and He is not ALIVE. If we do not know
Jesus Christ for real then we cannot have salvation. Salvation is
KNOWING Jesus Christ the Living God for REAL. If we seek Him we find
him. He will reveal Himself to us if we humble ourselves before Him
and we draw closer to Him.He will reveal Himself to us and we will
know Him for real.

You do not get to know Jesus Christ
from Bible study or from listening to other people, watching their
videos, listening to their TV programs, reading their little books.
You get to know Jess Christ when you seek Him with all your heart,
you humble yourself before Him and He will reveal Himself to you. He
IS the Living God, He is ALIVE. He is not history, He is the Lord God
Almighty.

Seek Jesus with all your heart and you
will find Him. Ask Him and He will reveal Himself to you but BE
SERIOUS, seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. Do not
be impressed by the intellectuals, by those with the book knowledge,
those who know the Bible, those who teach the Bible. They might know
the Bible but they don't know Jesus Christ. Get yo know Jesus Christ
for REAL and you will have a TESTIMONY, you will KNOW that He is REAL
and He is ALIVE and you will BELIEVE because you KNOW Him. He will be
REAL to you. Have you met Jesus Christ? Is He REAL to you?
