The Complacent Church

The true church, the Body of Christ, is those people who have repented, who have stopped sinning, who have been baptized in water and who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. But many of the true church are COMPLACENT, they are fast asleep.

Jesus Christ gave us the parable of the five foolish virgins as is recorded in Matthew 25. Those five virgins together with the five prudent virgins were all PURE, HOLY, they were not sinners, they were truly members of the Body of Christ but the five foolish virgins did not have extra oil in their lamps.

What is that EXTRA OIL? Those five foolish virgins were not led by the Holy Spirit, they did not follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They did not know the voice of the Master and therefor when the cry went out:"There comes the Bridegroom, go out to meet Him," they did not have the EXTRA OIL. Many of those who have truly come to know Jesus Christ and have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, who have the Holy Spirit, many of those are complacent. They believe that they are saved and sealed and they can sit back and just wait for the coming of the Bridegroom. They are fast asleep but they do not realize that they do not have EXTRA OIL. they do not know the Master's voice.

And what did He say to those foolish virgins when they came and knocked on that door? He said:"I do not know you where you are from."

The complacent church that is fast asleep believes that they are saved and sealed but Jesus Christ is saying to them:"I do not know you."

Are we AWAKE? Are we working for the kingdom of God? Are we led by the Spirit of God? Are we following the guidance of the Holy Spirit and doing the will of God? Or have we become complacent? Do we believe in our salvation while we do not know nor follow the VOICE of the Master? Are we AWAKE? Are we WORKING for the King, for the kingdom of God, or are we complacent fast asleep with NO EXTRA OIL in our lamps?

Jesus Christ is Coming. Are you ready? Do you have that EXTRA OIL in your lamp?

May Jesus bless you.
