The cost of salvation

Salvation is not for free and if we want eternal life in Christ Jesus we will have to pay the price. Jesus Christ paid the price and He overcame and all those who follow Jesus Christ will also have to pay the price and overcome. Jesus Christ did not do it all for you and for me. He showed us the way and we have to follow and obey Him. Jesus Christ came to do the will of the Father and He showed us the WAY. He left us the commands of the Father and He sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us into the will of the Father so that if we overcome then we can also win that prize of eternal life. Jesus Christ clearly explained that  if we want to follow Him we have to deny ourselves every day, pick up our cross and follow Him. If we follow Jesus Christ we will pay a price every day. Every day we will have to rather OBEY Jesus, DO what He commanded than to do what we want to do, our own feelings, our own ambitions, every day. We will have to give in to the will of God, in everything, every day until the very end. We will be rejected, hated and persecuted by this world if we obey Jesus and do the will of God.

The words that Jesus spoke and that He left for us, the gospel of Christ as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were not His own words. They were the words and the commands of the Father, and He kept those words, He OBEYED those words. He followed those commands until the very end. He left us those words and He sent us the Holy Spirit to remind us of His commands so that we will do His will. He sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, into doing His will but we have to pay the price. we have to OBEY Him. We have to give up ourselves, sacrifice ourselves, our own will, our own feelings, our own desires, our own plans, our own opinions and obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ did not do it ALL for you and me. We have to walk the path, we have to follow Him until the very end. Are you walking that path? Are you following Jesus Christ? Many are deceived , they think that Jesus Christ did it all for them and they must just believe in Jesus and they can continue in sin. They are deceived.

If we do not obey Jesus and do as He commanded, repent, be baptized in water, be filled with the Holy Spirit and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit every day until the very end , if we do not endure with Him until the end we will not enter the kingdom of Heaven. We will not win the prize if we do not pay the cost. Are we paying that cost every day? Are we following Jesus Christ?
