The SELF Trap

Many of God's children have fallen into the trap of SELF they are besotted with themselves. Everything is about them. They are
concerned about THEIR life, THEIR ministry, THEIR salvation, THEIR future, THEIR life. The kingdom of God is not about me or you or our realization, that which we want to achieve in life, that
which WE want to do for God. Many people want to hear Jesus speaking to them because they want to consult Him about their things, their life, their desires, their hopes, their future. The kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ. If our future is not in Jesus we have no future. If we are concerned about ourselves and our
future, our life, then we cannot be concerned about the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit tells us about Jesus, reveals Him to us. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth guide us into fruitfulness in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is about serving Jesus Christ, it is not about self, it's not about us and that is why people
are disappointed because the Holy Spirit doesn't speak about you or me. He speaks about Jesus Christ. He speaks about the kingdom of God. He teaches us and He guides us about that which is important, that which is the plan of God. He guides us into the truth, not into the things that we would like to hear about ourselves.
Many false prophets are famous because they speak wonderful personal prophecies over the lives of people and they have these
wonderful expectations about themselves. They have fallen into the SELF trap, into satan's trap. The kingdom of God is about Jesus.
Start asking Jesus about Him, about His kingdom, about your duty in His kingdom,  how He wants to use you, what He wants to teach you; then you will hear the voice of God. Get your focus on Jesus
and get out of that SELF trap because that is a trap that leads to death.
We need to focus on Jesus, seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness His glory, His approval and then He will reveal Himself to us because the kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ, not about you and me.
Seek Jesus. Seek to glorify Him and He will reveal Himself to you.
