You are so right. I should say Jesus Christ the only way is so right. I always wondered about those passages but my church body one of the more conservative Lutheran church bodies was always against the preaching of the law even against our own those in the pieistis movement when I was studying only one or two professors out of 30 said we need to follow the law as in the ten commandments of Jesus. Can u believe it at a very conservative seminary only one or two professors believe in close to what you believe in. These are all pastors too. Talking about blind leading the blind. No wonder I have been in sin for so long. Now I have gotten on my knees to ask Jesus to be my Savior thanks to be brother Justice , I mean Jesus speaking through Justice you would not believe what a hard hearted theological Lutheran I was now I am just trying to follow Jesus even though I am not 100 percent sure I will keep getting on my knees to beg for mercy because I have been a sinner.
