Like your TEACHER

A student becomes like his teacher, like his master. The reason why so very few professing Christians are like Jesus is because they are not taught by Jesus. Many of them are self-taught, they teach themselves from the Bible. Others have found themselves some other teachers, they have some favorite pastor. They read the little books and they watch videos, they want to become like some person that they have met, some favorite Christian but they are not like Jesus. They are not taught by Jesus because they do not LISTEN to Jesus and they do not follow Him.

If we are children of God we will be like Jesus because we will be taught by Him. We will KNOW HIS VOICE, LISTEN to Him , FOLLOW Him and OBEY Him and He will TEACH US. We will become like Him. Jesus came to do the will of the Father. If we are true sons of God, like Jesus, then we will also seek to do the will of the Father, not our own will and our own ambitions. We will FOLLOW Jesus and be led by the Holy Spirit. We will become like OUR TEACHER.

Jesus said to His disciples:”ONE is your Teacher, even the Christ.” Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit, His Spirit, to guide us and to teach us. He Himself is our Teacher.

Are we becoming like Jesus? Is He our Teacher? Or have we found ourselves some other teachers?
