If we follow after Jesus Christ and
seek to be pleasing to Him then He will change us. He will discipline
us, He will guide us, we will be changed into His likeness. We will
not be like other people. We will not be interested in the same
things. We will not be like the world, we will become like Jesus
Christ.
I am not the same person that I used to
be. Since following Jesus I have been changing and I change all the
time. I am not the same person that I was ten years ago, I am not
the same as I was a year ago. I am changing because I am growing in
understanding and knowledge of Jesus Christ. He reveals Himself to
me, He teaches me and He guides me. If we follow Jesus we will be
changing all the time, to be like Him.
