God's WAY Not Our Way

If we go after Jesus Christ and follow Him He will guide us into the UNKNOWN, the UNPLANNED, the UNEXPECTED and that is why very few people who call themselves believers will ever follow Jesus Christ. Because they do not really believe, they do not really trust Him and therefor they are not willing to follow Him.

People want to control their own destiny, their own lives, they want to make their own plans, they have their own ambitions and therefor very few people will follow Jesus Christ. Very few will go after Him, very few will be His disciples and that is why to most people Jesus Christ will say:”Go away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” They were busy with their own plans for all of their life and Jesus Christ was an after-thought, a quick prayer before they went to bed, He was never the center of their existence. They never followed Him, they never truly became children of God, they were just religious and most of them thought they were SAVED. But they never followed Jesus Christ, they never knew Him, they never got to KNOW HIM.

Do we KNOW Jesus Christ? Do we go after Him? Do we FOLLOW Him where He guides us? Do we do the will of God because we HEAR from Jesus or are we on a journey of our own? Are we really children of God and followers of Jesus Christ? Or are we just deceiving ourselves? Where will our journey take us? Are we following Jesus Christ into His kingdom, or are we following our own desires to destruction? Who are we following?
