The Spirit Led Life

To be LED by the Spirit of God is NORMAL for a child of God. Paul wrote in Romans 8:14:”Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God.” Then you ask yourself the question: How many people are sons of God? How many people are children of God? Many are believers but they are not led by the Spirit of God, they are to followers of Jesus Christ.

You cannot follow Jesus if you are not led by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. Most people are led by their emotions, their lusts, their ambitions, they are led by other people, by the media, TV. Some are led by their church leaders, others are led by their own insight of the Bible, others by books, philosophies but only those who are led by the Spirit of God THEY are the children of God, they are the sons of God. If we are not led by the Spirit of God, if we do not follow Him we cannot be pleasing to Him.

Many ask how it is to be led by the Spirit of God. If you go on your knees and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master, if you REPENT and TURN AWAY from sin, wickedness and from your own thoughts and you embrace Jesus Christ, PUT YOUR MIND ON HIM, then He puts His mind in you. If your mind is occupied with your own ambitions and with sin and with lust and with the things of this world then that is where you will go, that is what you will do. If your mind is on Jesus Christ then He puts His mind in you and you have the MIND OF CHRIST, He reveals Himself to you. He gives to UNDERSTANDING of the kingdom of God, He give you UNDERSTANDING of the scriptures that were recorded by those who recorded his words. He EXPLAINS it to you, it is not a matter of interpretation. It is a matter of getting understanding from the Holy Spirit, from Jesus Christ Himself, being led by the Spirit of God.

If you commit your life to Jesus then everything that happens to you is from God because He guides your footsteps but if your mind is on other things you will not see the hand of God moving in your life. You will not hear His voice because you are TOO BUSY WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS and listening to other people. Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. They SEEK to HEAR from HIM. Their mind is on Him, they are TUNED IN to Him and therefor they LISTEN, they HEAR HIM, they FOLLOW Him because they EXPERIENCE Him. Jesus Christ is REAL to them, they are LED by the Spirit of God and they OBEY Him. They FOLLOW Him wherever He sends them and they bear GOOD FRUIT. They do what is pleasing to Him.

Without Jesus Christ we can do nothing that is pleasing to Him. If we are not grafted into the Vine we cannot bear good fruit. We have to HEAR FROM HIM and be led by Him, by His Spirit. Are you led by the Spirit of God? Have you received the Holy Spirit? Do you LISTEN to Him and do you FOLLOW Him? Are you a child of God, a follower of Jesus Christ , are you led by the Spirit of God?
