Many churches and individuals have
reduced salvation to a PROCEDURE or and AFFILIATION. Many so-called
preachers tell people to follow a procedure, they have to ADMIT that
they are sinners and then say a SINNERS PRAYER, and then they ASSURE
them that they are saved, if they die now they are “going to
heaven.” Others add onto this that :”Now that you are SAVED you
have to JOIN THE CHURCH”, become affiliated with the church.
Salvation is not a PROCEDURE, a series
of steps that you follow, it is not an affiliation with a person or a
group of people, it is KNOWING and OBEYING the Living God, Jesus
Christ and FOLLOWING Him, SERVING Him for eternity. It is not about
just BELIEVING and reading about Him in the Bible, it is about
KNOWING Him FOR REAL, HEARING from Him, LISTENING to Him, OBEYING Him
and SERVING Him. It is a RELATIONSHIP with the Living God, a
relationship of SERVANT TO MASTER. We have to SERVE Him as the One
whom He is, GOD ALMIGHTY, and live our lives to please Him.
Jesus Christ, the Living God will say
to most believers the day that the die, He will say to them:”Go
away I never knew you, you workers of wickedness.” Because they
never knew Him. Many of them believe that they are SAVED but they do
not even know Jesus Christ. They don't want to know Him. They just
want the ASSURANCE of salvation. They have followed the procedure
and they are affiliated to a church and to them that is enough but
they don't have Jesus and they are LOST.
Do you KNOW Jesus Christ, the Living
God and do you FOLLOW Him, OBEY Him, SERVE Him, every day? Is your
relationship with Him REAL?
