What is it that sets us apart from the
rest and makes us CHILDREN OF GOD? Jesus said:”My sheep LISTEN to
My VOICE and they FOLLOW Me.” It is not about being religious or
reading your Bible or belonging to a church, it is about LISTENING to
the VOICE of Jesus and FOLLOWING Him, being one of His sheep, being
LED by His SPIRIT.
Jesus Christ gives His Holy Spirit in
those who turn away from sin and from their own desires and who OBEY
Him, who REPENT and who are baptized in water and who SEEK TO HEAR
HIS VOICE, who SEEK to be LED by His SPIRIT, they are His sheep. They
are the ones who follow Him, who OBEY Him and who DO His WILL. Those
who are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. If we do
not have the Spirit of Christ and are not LED by His Spirit then we
do not belong to Him.
Seek Jesus with all your heart, OBEY
Him, go after Him and He will give His Spirit in you. Then tune in to
Him, LISTEN and FOLLOW Him and your soul will live. Be LED by the
Holy Spirit and then only can we do the will of God and be pleasing
to Jesus.
