Most Christians are not Christians

Most professing Christians
are not really Christians, because they do not understand what it
means to be a Christian. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ,
the Living God, a person who is in relationship with Jesus. Jesus
calls us into a real living relationship with Himself. He does not
call us into relationship and fellowship with other Christians, or
with a church. He does not call us into Bible study and various
religious practices. He calls us to follow Him.
If we obey the gospel of
Jesus Christ, repent and are baptized in water, and we seek Him with
all our heart He reveals Himself to us and He gives His Spirit in us.
Jesus Christ Himself comes and dwells in us and we become aware of
Him. Those who are pure in heart will see God, they will experience
Jesus in everything. If we have submitted ourselves to Jesus, then we
will experience Him in everything that happens to us and with us. We
will see His hand in everything, because we will seek His will. We
will seek His presence, we will seek to experience Him and we will
see Him in our circumstances, in our sickness, in our blessings, in
our pain and the things that are happening in this world. In
everything we will experience Jesus Christ.
The heart and mind that
is set on Christ gains understanding, because he is seeking the will
of God. Jesus gives understanding to those who seek Him. It is not
about various religious practices and teachings theories, it is about
a relationship with the living God, in prayer and in seeking Him with
all our heart. Have you come to know Jesus Christ? Are you in
fellowship with Him? Have you bowed your knees before Him? Have you
obeyed His gospel?
Have you repented of sin
and of going after your own desires and are you seeking Jesus Christ
with all your heart? Have you been baptized in water as He commanded
and has He revealed Himself to you and in you. Do you experience
Jesus Christ every day? His sheep hear His, voice they listen to Him
they follow Him every day. If we do not have the Spirit of Christ in
us and we do not experience Him every day then our relationship with
Him cannot be real, we cannot really be Christians, we are not
followers of Jesus.
Our fellowship and a
relationship with Jesus must be more real than our relationship and
fellowship with other people or else we just do not know Him. Have
you come to know Jesus? Do you follow and obey Him every day? Have
you become part of the kingdom of God?
May Jesus bless you.
