The Wrath of God - Hurricane Harvey - A WARNING

I am here to deliver a stern warning and a message from God.  Hurricane Harvey was a display of the wrath of God and a warning of worse things to come, if the people do not repent.
I want to read for us from Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
     24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
     26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
     28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
God has been calling the nation to repentance for a very long time but people defy God, they mock God. Even Christians are living in sin.
Jesus sent me to preach repentance.
The churches are not preaching repentance. The churches are preaching money, prosperity, tolerance, grace, love, but they are not preaching the message of Jesus Christ.
Jesus requires repentance and holiness. It is because of sin that the wrath of God comes on mankind. God is warning. He speaks.
I am not judging. I know God and I fear God and I know the judgment of God and therefor I warn, because I know that God will certainly judge, and He will judge His people first. He will judge the churches first because they are not warning the people. They are called to be watchmen, but they are not warning them to repent. Judgment will start in the house of God. Many churches will be closed and they will cease to exist. God is going to take away many preachers, who are liars and deceivers, they are not doing the work that He has called them for. God is warning. He is warning the nation. God is warning through hurricane Harvey. The loss of lives could have been much more severe. There is a severe loss of property and equipment, and earthly goods, but if the people do not repent they will perish.
I remind us of the words of Jesus as they are recorded in Luke 13:1 "Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2And He answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered this fate? 3“I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. 4“Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? 5“I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
God is looking for FRUIT, the fruit of repentance, the fruit of holiness, the fruit of obedience to Jesus Christ.
I read further in Luke 13:6 "And He began telling this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it, and did not find any. 7“And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ 8“And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; 9and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’”
Jesus Christ wants fruit. Many profess to be Christians but their fruit is absent. They have no fruit of righteousness or of holiness, no likeness of Jesus Christ, they are conformed to the world. They love the world. They are sinful, they are living in sin. They are homosexuals, they abort their babies, they've got no fear of God. Not only do they approve of these things but they do them themselves, even though they know that God hates it. If they do not repent, they will perish, God will cut them down.
God is warning. He is warning the nation, He is warning the world, that if they do not repent, they will perish. There is only one way to have salvation, and that is to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ, not the gospel that is preached in churches.
You cannot just believe in Jesus for salvation. You have to repent and be baptized, you must bear fruit of repentance, holiness and righteousness. You must obey the words of Jesus Christ or else your confession of Jesus Christ is empty and void, it is an abomination. Every branch in Him that does not bear fruit will get cut down and burned. That is the warning to all of us, to me as well. I know the fear of God and therefor I warn you.
God loves us, He cares for us , but God has one standard of holiness and righteousness. God does not tolerate sin or disobedience. The soul that sins will die, he will perish. If you do not repent, you will perish. God will cut you down.
Be wise. Seek Jesus  while you can, dear friend. Repent, be baptized in water, obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. Seek Him with all your heart and He will reveal Himself to you, He will be a father for you, he will take care of you. Without Jesus we can do nothing.
