Tuned in to the Holy Spirit

A born again child of God speaks and testifies of different things than a religious believer, because a born again child of God can see the kingdom of god. His faith is not based on hear say, on what he has read in the Bible, his faith is based on what has been revealed to him. He has seen the kingdom of God.

We read in John 3:3 Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Many believers are not born again and they do nto have the Holy Spirit and that is why they cannot see nor understand the kingdom of God. The mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are closed to them, because they are not born again, they do not have the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth and to reveal to us the mysteries of the kingdom of God.

We read the words of Jesus in John 16:7. He said to His disciples:7“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.8“And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;10and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

12“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.13“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you."

The Holy Spirit was given on the day of Pentecost and all the disciples  of Jesus received the baptism in the Holy Spirit as we read in Acts 2. Also there was another man that was called by Jesus, and He also received the Holy Spirit and he received the gospel through revelation. He received revelation of the kingdom of God through the Holy Spirit, which He writes of in 1 Corinthians 2:1 "And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. 2For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 3I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, 4and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

6Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; 7but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; 8the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

9but just as it is written, “THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

10For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts

 of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

14But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ."

Those who have received the Holy Spirit have the mind of Christ, because the Holy Spirit reveals to them the mind of Christ, reveals to them the mysteries of the kingdom of God, things not written in the Bible, things that other people cannot tell you about, things that only the Holy Spirit can reveal to you IF you are born again, if you have received the Holy Spirit, and most importantly, if you are in tune with the Holy Spirit.

Many believers have believed the gospel of Jesus Christ. They have repented and been baptized in water and they received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the indwelling Spirit of Christ in them, but these people are not tuned in. They are not following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they are not taught by the Holy Spirit and therefor they do not receive revelation of the kingdom of God and of the mysteries of God through the Spirit, they are not tuned in.

If we are not tuned in  to the Holy Spirit, we will not receive revelation from the Holy Spirit. We need to tune in through prayer, through waiting on Him , through seeking Him and then He will reveal Himself to us. If we have no desire for the kingdom of God and we do not seek the kingdom of God, we will receive nothing. We must tune in, we must strive hard. We must seek the revelation of the Holy Spirit. we must ask Jesus and He, the Spirit of Christ, will reveal to us the mysteries of Christ.

Are you tuned in to the Holy Spirit? Are you receiving revelation of the  mysteries of the kingdom of God. are you being led by the Spirit of God, by the Holy Spirit?

May Jesus bless you.
